Hello Jodie!!! Are you trying to ignore me?

Rose Mary I am so impressed that you make dinner three times in one evening. I very seldom make one dinner in the evening......Guess that is what you get when DH works in another state and is only home on the weekends.

Uh Oh, DH is home:eek: Oops, I mean yippee he's home. Now I can cook dinner for the third time in one night. I'm so lucky to be me. Be back in a bit.

Now THAT is funny. We had 3 dinners here tonight too.

DS--waffles and sausage (brekkie for dinner)
DH--pasta with meat sauce (he got home late, he was donating platelets)
Me--Egg Beaters omelette with some Swiss Cheese, yummy.

Evening, all!

Hi, Rose Mary!! Welcome to the family!

So, Jodie--is it definite, then? You're going to WDW in December too? (Our GS cookies are still $3/box--same state! What's up with yours being higher?)

Elaine, you really know how to use that Jedi mind trick!! So, are you planning a Ya Ya meet for December?

Michele, glad to hear Rachel is feeling better. It's definitely time for the sickie germs to move on out of the house!!

Sherry, neat charm! Is your bracelet full yet?

Hi, Betty! If you make the sketty at the meet this summer, I'll toss the salad. Who's bringing the wine??!!!

I'm with you, Kim, staying away from evil eBay! Too enticing!

I know all too well about making more than 1 dinner.
I do that alot here. :teeth:

Hi Pam...so it's ok if we bug ya but not stalk ya? I guess that's reasonable!

Yeah, buggin' is permitted, but stalking skeers me!!

Betty,
DH bought me the Perfect Pasta Pots - I love them!!:D

Shep,
Didn't realize you were being picked on - where did you get impression? Mocked - yes (but all the YaYas) - but picked on???

Rose Mary,
Ohhhh yeah, you are so one of us!!:Pinkbounc

Took DS and his friend to see Tears of the Sun tonight. I had to sit through the movie as well since they were under 17 and were not allowed to watch the movie without an adult. I tried to buy their tickets and send them in, but no go. So then I bought my ticket and told the boys I was going to sneak out and leave but I had an attack of conscience and didn't want to set a bad example, so I stayed. Movie was actually very good - not too gory.

Michele,
Hope all of you are feeling better soon!

Argh! I swear I didn't think I'd skimmed that much.... what charm Sherry?? I'm wearing three bracelets now... have a 4th (blank) that I need to put together. I still need to get my hand painted hula charm, and am getting the bug to start searching around online again for anything new that might be out there. :p

Tears of the Sun... I haven't heard of it. I'm so out of it.

You guys don't bother me, I'm used to that..

I know some of the sarcastic remarks that DW is making and although noone else sees it, I do..I can read between the lines..

Maybe I should just stay home saturday and throw away my golf clubs and my game cube..

:( :(

As RMD said it, I think I need to turn in my man card now..:(

Back again! Glad ya'll can relate to my predicament and get a laugh. I didn't mean to be a whiner! That's someone else's job isn't it?

Why couldn't I have come up with the idea for those Perfect Pasta pots? Really cool idea and somebody who came up with it is making the big bucks about now! Have you noticed all the new gadgets coming out on those infomercials? Everytime I see one it's like "I shoulda thought of that". Been wracking my brain anybody have any ideas?

We have graduated to if you want to eat then you better make it yourself at our house since the teens seem to be on a different schedule than I. Actually, I can never tell when to make dinner. Sometimes they come home from practice ready to eat immediately and other times they don't want to eat at all.

Shep, you know we love our bothers.

I do recall from my GS days that each council makes their own price. I remember when in Pittsburgh we were very close to another council(within 2 miles) and their cookies were 50 cents less than ours and it made it very difficult to sell.

Pam, you are a very good mom. So you think those sketty pots are good? Maybe I will need to look into purchasing some.

Beth is going to toss the salad!!!! Hey this sounds like a Ya Ya DisMeet Menu in the making.....So who is providing dessert, sauce, wine, etc.............. I have dibs on pasta.

You guys don't bother me, I'm used to that..

Yes, and we love it that you let us abuse you, our dear little bother!:D

I think you are being a little sensitive (and maybe a little tired) right now. But we all get that way - even men, trust me - I've been married for over 18 years, I know what I'm talking about!! Now go put on a chick flick with a little macho action and snuggle up with Amanda and share a dish of ice cream!!!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc

Rose Mary,
You are NOT whining! I sometimes have to make 3 separate dinners as well - and I do complain up a blue streak!:( I hate to cook. I sent out for pizza tonight as I took DS to the movies, DD went to her BF's for his 19th birthday and DH took over to the frozen lake for some more ice fishing.

Kim,
Tears Of The Sun is the new Bruce Willis movie. He was outstanding in it. It's about American soldiers going into Nigeria to rescue a female doctor and getting into a battle with rebel soldiers.

I will also bring the bourbon slushies......How could I forget that?

HI BETTY!!! I would NEVER ignore you!!!! My mind is just so full of so many things....

I think, ya'll, that every Girl Scout Council sets their own price for cookies....that's where the difference comes in. Ours went from 3.00/box last year to 3.50/box this year!!! They told us to tell the girls not to walk up to a house and ask if they wanted to buy GS cookies....walk up and ask "Would you like to support GS by buying some GS cookies?" I looked through the badge book many times but could never find a badge called "learning slick sales pitches....how to put a spin on your product". No rant about GS cookie sales from me tonight though!!! Ya glad?:p

Beth! Yep...it's official! I am heading back to the World in December!!:p

I'll bring the wine to the meet!!!! I'll bring "Mickey wine" for us all!! Can I ship it to one of you Ohio ladies to bring with ya? If I take it on the plane I will be tempted to "sip a little" . Um....I don't like to fly....but for ya'll....and for Mickey:p ...I will!!!

*drops off some Moulin Rouge style drinks*

Hi,been another dull day for le Courtasan;)

Betty- Aren't you the sketti dumper? Do you have a Perfect Pasta pot yet? Hmmmmmmmmmmm????

Thanks Pam, I was confused there for a minute! Thought I was whining out of turn. And that maybe I should be grateful for this wonderful opportunity I have to satisfy everybody else's needs before my own. Oh bother, I'm on a roll now...................

Thanks Sherry... I guess I missed the 4 leaf clover charm post. I hate it when I do that. I try so hard to go back and do a thorough ketchup but always seem to miss so much.

Shep... :( Noooo turning in man cards!

Oh! I did see the preview for that movie then... the minute you said Bruce Willis, I realized which one you were talking about. It looks pretty heavy. :o Not the type of movie I can deal with well at all. :(
