The Woman Report- Update 4/24 Final Thoughts p. 74

The make your own pizza sounds a great thing to do and it sounds like Trey did a great job :thumbsup2

Great update! I'm sorry you felt rushed through the meal (yep, that would be me too lol), but I'm glad you enjoyed your meal and wine! :drinking1

The personal pizza deal looked good - did he enjoy eating it more because he "made" it, do you think?

Wonderful pictures - love the one of you and LG :goodvibes

Looking forward to the next update popcorn::

Hey! (to both).

You're doing a gud job Lin.

You forgot to mention the lounge chairs poolside... big huge pads and very comfy. Best part of the pool I might add.

For dinner at Storytellers, I ordered the Garlic Shrimp w/ noodles. Lin totally freaked out. "You can't eat that"... "It's going to be a long night"... "I'm not waiting for you at the bathrooms tomorrow"...

You get the picture.

LeeAndra and I explored the entire hotel before getting the bottle of Malbec for the room (as you can tell by the dinner photo, we're on a Malbec kick).

It's really nice! Three huge fireplaces (one of them outside with lounge chairs) and a huge lobby. Also, a very gud piano player. I love piano. That's why I make Lin play at home. :rolleyes1

That first night Trey slept with me. We were all very tired. We had a good rest.

:lmao: sorry but don't like feet.
yes she is.
those sound nice.
:lmao: the picture is not pretty.
hotel sounds nice.

LInnie, great pics. the pizza is a great idea.

Great update. Jimmy would like the make your own pizza, but like CE said the taking it back to be cooked would probably be an issue.

I think my kids would like to make their pizzas, but then having to wait to have it cooked might be an issue.

Dinner sounds like a success overall! And a bottle of wine and a book sound heavenly! :cloud9:

Later on I read my book by the pool. It was awesome. Having to wait to cook the pizza made me nervous, but he handled it well. :thumbsup2

You're doing a gud job Lin.
Thank you!

Oh, those chairs were awesome. I can't believe I forgot about them. Usually you get those plastic lounge chairs. These were metal and they had these HUGE thick cushions on them. They didn't feel like outdoor furniture at all, but something very comfortable and luxurious. They were VERY nice!! :thumbsup2

Buzz + Garlic = NOT GUD

How many times does anyone go to type "Buzz" and type "Butt" instead. I just did that for about the millionth time. :confused3 Ahem, must be some Freudian slip....

:confused3 Buzz, can you explain Malbec to me?

Gud wine! :thumbsup2

He did do a great job. He loves eating pepperoni's. He calls them "pizza meat." So that was a big deal for him! :goodvibes

Thank you. I think maybe he did like it b/c he made it himself. I'm trying to get the kids "cooking" more. Just minor things in the microwave that are safe. It's kind of hard from Trey. They both love helping make cookies. :)

Thank you. No, the picture of Buzz and the garlic EEK!! :scared: I can't believe the number of times he eats garlic and gripes about its effects. He knows what it does to him, but eats it anyway. And we all pay the price....

Great update. Jimmy would like the make your own pizza, but like CE said the taking it back to be cooked would probably be an issue.

I really thought Trey would get mad when they took it away, but I told him they would cook it. Now anytime he has to wait for something he tells himself, "They're cooking it." No matter if we were waiting for a ride in line or for the bus at the airport. Any kind of wait now means something's getting cooked. :cutie:

Hey Lin, nice update. The make your own pizza sounds cool. Hope you didn't have to wait too long for it to come back. The pics are nice too. "Liquid nerve" I like that. :lmao:

You guys missed the characters! I hope you do Ariels next to make up for it. :cool2:

And I can totally see, "It's cooking," becoming a new thing! That's how they come up with after all... Please let Trey know that some stranger online is going to borrow his catchphrase. :cutie:

Mmmmm.. I love StoryTellers! I always get the Salmon. Kevin also enjoys the garlic shrimp. I can't eat shellfish, unless I want to ride in an ambulance. :guilty:

Looks like a great dinner. :thumbsup2

What's up with all these pictures and no stories? :rotfl2: Just can't please me eh? Just kidding. I really love those pictures, hairy arm with veiny hand and all! BTW ~ Not so hairy and I didn't even notice any veins! :)

Thanks! It came back pretty quick, but it seemed longer than it was due to Trey's crabbing....

Will do!! When my grandma and dad died I told him they went to Jesus and would not be back. Because of his disablility, I was very blunt. I wanted him to understand. Last month when we got a new car I told him the Trailblazer was all gone and he said, "Trailblazer went to Jesus." ;) So everything taking a long time is "cooking" and things that are gone are automatically "with Jesus."

I ate scallops in WDW once and my throat was weird feeling after that-like it was part way closed. So I don't eat those anymore. I never noticed that before-shrimp doesn't bother me so I wonder if it was something else b/c aren't scallops shellfish too? Those darn allergies...

Some people-can't please 'em! I'll try to get it just right next time!! :lmao:

Linnie--Would you eat there again? We might be heading to DL in a few years. Is it worth adding to my agenda?

Great Mickey Mouse plate. I would love to have one of those.

I was thinking about doing the same thing Scott but didn't have the time. Glad you fixed it for her.:thumbsup2

Thank you Scott!! I didn't even notice her eyes! That is MUCH better!!

Yes! :thumbsup2 We ate there again for breakfast and it was excellent! I would definitely recommend it.

I loved that Mickey plate too! I love Mickey kitchen stuff. I nearly bought a Mickey apron in the store, but opted not to. I don't wear nice enough clothes while cooking to protect them. I don't really wear nice enough clothes any other time either, come to think of it. I schlep around in sweats all day long and it's a good day if my t-shirt is clean!

Can't have your precious little angel looking like she is not so angelic.
I do have a Disney kitchen. I figure if I spend a lot of my time in there, I might as well have it remind me of my favorite place on earth.
My family is happy, because I do cook more now.:thumbsup2

That is one of the most precious things I have read on the DISboards. I absolutely love it. Maybe Jesus is driving grandma and grandpa around in the Trailblazer :thumbsup2?
