Regarding the refrigerators, will a gallon of milk fit in there? And, do the coffee makers take basket or cone style filters?? TIA!

We stayed in a room off the lobby and there was no noise. As a matter of fact the view was spectacular, and i'm not talking about the outdoor balcony!!! It was amazing to be able to wake up and lean over the balcony watching the lobby in the morning. And the convenience of getting off the elevator and you're practically there was great!!

Thank you so much for the pictures and for the different reviews of the lobby rooms. I like the idea of being on the lobby but confess I don't like the noise (but hey, you could be in a corner and have some bouncy tigger in the room above you or an early riser in the room next to you that likes to take an hour to dry their hair - so you never know!). This was a refreshing post - thank you!

Last year, for our 25th I had the same thoughts as you. I booked the inner courtyard standard CL because I wanted a MK view. Well, we were upgraded to the Honeymoon Suite. While it was a nice upgrade I was worried about not getting that view. Our first 4 nights were spent at WL before we transferred to the CR. Well, I didn't want to be ungrateful so we took the free upgrade and weren't put in the suite with the view. At first I was very disappointed and tempted to ask to be moved. Then that night at 10pm I heard this boom boom boom and ran out to the balcony....we had front row seats to Wishes! While NO view during the day, our own private showing each night was worth it! Also, this room was very private, we could keep the curtains and glass door open w/o worrying about being "watched". When we walked out of our room, we were in the corner with only one other room near us, we had a beautiful view of the lobby, a short walk to the lounge. It was very quiet since there were no other rooms near us. The room itself was a nice size. The king size bed was very comfy. The jacuzzi was ok...beware that you have to climb in it even for a shower. That was interesting each time wondering if I was going to fall getting in and out : ) So really, the choice is yours. If a view is really important, then don't take a chance. If you like the fireworks at night then.....I don't know if I could have stayed longer than the 4 nights in that room though since I really couldn't sit outside and "watch" anything...

hi! Me and my DF are staying at the WL for our Honeymoon. This is both our first stay at the WL. We have looked over the map and are having a hard time making a decision so, I wanted opinions of other who have stayed at the WL. We are staying standard room club level currently, with a request inner courtyard view. We have been back and forth between Honeymoon suite and standard, along with the views. We originally had Honeymoon with MK view BUT they said there is no guarantee (and if I didn't get the MK view I would be sad..). So then we decided we didn't know what money would be like.....so we moved down to standard but staying on the club level. In your opinion is the Honeymoon suite worth it? Do you have any pictures? Also if we stayed in standard there is still the option of MK or Inner courtyard. Which is better? We can't seem to make up our mind of which would be nicer. How well can you see the MK from the 7th floor? Does anyone have pictures of the view from the 7th floor, both inner courtyard and MK? Thanks!

Does anyone know if there is a fax machine available? and if there is a cost associated?

What do you note on your reservation or send to the WL to request these rooms? How do you describe them so they know what "we" call them.;)

We are going in December and I would just love to have one of the bear faced rooms!! I am going to be thrilled just to be at th WL, but it doesn't hurt to try!

Thanks so much!!

We were there in June and had originally booked a woods view room, I later called back and asked if it could be MK facing and though there was no guarantee, we did end up with a 6th floor room and a wonderful view of Wishes everynight. We were is 6028.

It was perfect for us, our girls were too young to be in the parks until Wishes was over, so we made sure to be in our room and bathed with PJs on before Wishes started, we would watch the show and the girls would hop right in bed.

Yes, a gallon of milk will fit.

I believe the coffee makers are basket filters. They will be provided for you daily.

I have not been to WL before and I was checking out allearsnet menus but they just said that Roaring Fork had 'hot breakfast' choices. Does anyone know what hot breakfast items Roaring Fork has? I am wondering if they have Mickey Waffles there too? Thanks!

Here is a picture of the bathroom in the honeymoon suite. We loved the room, a lot of space! Like a previous poster said, as much as I loved that tub...it is deep and so awesome for relaxing, it was quite a climb to get in. It has 2 faucets, one for the shower head and the other that you can see in the pic for the "waterfall" faucet. I'm short, so it was hard to get in, but I love it! From the balcony you do see quite a bit of the green roof, with scenery as well. One time we were facing the MK and it was nice to see the fireworks. We could see the castle, but the trees do block some of the view.

Am I correct in assuming the coffee makers are a standard 10 cup size? Also, what is the earliest that you can check in? As always, thanks in advance for the help! :thumbsup2

I have been looking at page after page of this thread, Thank you all!!!!!:worship::worship::worship:
I am so excited to stay here for the first time!!!!!

WOW! Our first trip to WL was amazing! No complaints and we will not stay anywhere else again! WL was so great, we loved the boat transportation, like our own private transports, no lines, always available when we needed them, much better than buses!
Towel animals were awesome and the kids loved the light switches on the bed posts!
We were in 5107 and had a great outside courtyard view and close walk from the elevators :)
Cannot wait to go back!

The coffeemakers are actually the small 2-4 cup size. A lot of people bring their own coffee, as what they provide is not that great. Also, I reccommend using bottled water...it tastes funky using the FL tap water.

I think if you request inner courtyard off the lobby will work.

I just ate cereal most mornings, but from what I remember they have eggs, bacon, pancakes, hot oatmeal. They don't have Minkey waffles....and I just can't remember if they even have waffles....

Does the WL do anything extra special for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Years? Just wondering if maybe we should plan our trip around being back at the lodge during the evening hours. Any advice would be welcome.:thumbsup2
