I hope you have it. I don't care how many times I see these shows. I still get butterflies. ::yes::

It's on! Woo hoo! I've seen it before, but I can watch it again!

Well since one of you is in today and the other is on the Black Pearl, it's kind of hard to tell. :rotfl2:

Yes...it's difficult to get cable on the Pearl, but we've made some recent improvements, with the permission of the Captain of course.;)

Hope ya got some Rum to go with that Disney special :lmao: . I have to wait until I get home from work at midnight to see my favorite episode.

Sad to say I didn't get to visit WL while we were at WDW last week, but I did get to see it from the Epcot Monorail.

Sadly the rum is gone.:rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao:

I have been coming to this thread for quite a while. Becky has done an incredible job. My main question was how 6 people fit in that room. I wanted to hear others experiences with that before I book it.
I know how you feel about a "live" answer. I love all of Becky's info (couldn't do without it), but getting someone elses actual experience is always helpful. We stayed in the deluxe room with 2 adults and 4 boys, 7, 4, 2 and 2. It was an OK fit for us. I think the room will be very small with 4 young adult kids. I don't think I want to stay in the room when the boys are older. The "bedroom" has 2 queen beds, and not much walking area. The french doors open to the sititng room which has a couch and a table and chairs, and another TV. The couch opens up, and then takes up all of the room. You can't get around it to the balcony unless you climb over it. Dh slept on it with DS7. They fit OK, but 2 adults wouldn't be too comfortable. You also only have 1 bathroom. We will be staying in the room again this time we go, the boys will be 9, 6, 4 and 4. I'd rather 2 connecting rooms, but I was so worried they wouldn't be guaranteed that we got the Deluxe.

While I don't mind answering questions most of the FAQ threads do have the most common questions and other helpful information on the first page. I keep the first page up to date and post additional information all the time. After guest have read the first few pages then they can ask any question they would like. While many members are available to assist in answering questions sometime no one else is on line that knows your answer...thats why I request everyone to read the first page and why others may offer that as a quick answer for some questions. I think everyone that post on this thread has always tried to help, if it was a bother I don't think they would have tried to assist with the answers.

As for 6 guest staying in a deluxe room...I think that yes it can be done, but if they are all adults it's going to be tight not much storage room and 6 adults or adult size children with one bathroom :confused3

Last time I stayed in a Deluxe Room we had 4 adults and two children ages 2 & 12, we enjoyed our stay but after that trip I purchased DVC because we had outgrown the Deluxe Rooms. From Page 1 You may want to think about another option...All of the Deluxe Rooms do offer a connecting option that would be a room with 2 queen beds or a room with one king bed that is either woods or courtyard view.

We also still book two rooms and request connecting rooms, anytime I have had small children with me we have always received the connecting rooms. Once when there were older children (17 & 18) and adults we received adjoining rooms. I didn't mind and I think the teenagers enjoyed their independence.

Everyone have a nice week-end

Thank you!! :thumbsup2 But I think I have just about talked myself out of this room. I can still get a two bedroom villa at other resorts. But they just aren't the WL. I do appreciate your help. :goodvibes

I love staying in the two-bedroom villas, even as a member I have to book my reservation at 11 months to get the Villas at the Lodge during the Holidays. While it isn't the Lodge I also enjoy the Boardwalk Villas the decorations are beautiful, maybe this could be a second option for you.

Thank you for the suggestion. But I feel like a traitor even looking anywhere else. ::yes:: One good thing though...since your above post we are now thinging about DVC at WL. :yay: I'll be checking into it today. :goodvibes

how can you book and find out the rates for a villa room? I saw someone got a studio and it was cheaper than the courtyard view. would it be cheaper than standard? and would I be able to still get free dining with it? we have a baby with a pack-n-play so the studio size would be great.

I'm going to place my order with GardenGrocer and have a question about whether I need to order coffee for our rooms at Wilderness Lodge. I see that there's a coffee pot but I'm not sure if coffee and coffee filters are provided. Could someone help with this information? Thanks.

The coffee maker is a four cup. There is regular and decaf coffee packets in the room and also packets of creamer, sugar (& sugar substitute) and stirrers, they are replaced daily. Actually, the coffee in the room is not bad (personally, I bring my own), but it is the water that matters here.

When I first made a pot, I used the water from the sink :sad2:. This pot turned out terrible. At first I thought it was the coffee, then I tried making another pot with our bottled water. This one came out much better. :)

Now I bring my own coffee, four cup filters and bottled water. The coffee is wonderful!!

PLEASE NOTE: Make sure you wash out your coffee maker, the reservoir and also the carafe. I noticed they get dusty from lack of use.

Another tip: They put the coffee makers on the ledge above the sink. I usually move it to the top of the dresser that contains the refrigerator. There is a plug there and makes it very convenient for us. I keep my supplies in the top drawer. :coffee:

Great tips. I had planned to bring water, coffee & filters - but had not realized that I should use the bottled water with the coffee. My DH really has to have his coffee in the morning.

Thanks for sharing!

Anytime!!

I also need my coffee in the morning. Nothing better than having a cup and going out on the balcony to watch the sunrise!!

Also, a great pick me up in the middle of the day.

Remember, with the refrigerator, you can bring your own milk or creamer!!

We bring a small to medium sized brita filter pitcher with us for in room water/coffee needs. Easy to pack in your suitcase, and takes away the swamp taste.

Does anybody know if there are 7th floor rooms overlooking the lobby. I can't remember if the concierge lounge wraps all the way around the lobby or if there are rooms on one side. If not, what would the closest concierge rooms be?

There are concierge rooms in each of the 2 sitting areas with the televisions. :)
