Thanks Brian. I was just curious because of what I read on Allears:

"Not all rooms have balconies and some balconies have privacy rails so that you can't see out when sitting."

Since it didn't mention "patios", I assumed some rooms just had a railing and not a balcony. :confused3

Nope. Many people do not like the top floor balconies because you can't see through the railing when sitting down.

Hope you have a great time! :cool1:

Wilderness Lodge is beautiful with the Christmas tree, garland and lights. Just saw Mickey and Minnie in the lobby in their holiday finest greeting guests. Bingo was happening poolside. We watched holiday wishes from our 7th floor balcony last night and are heading over to MK to watch in person tonight. MK was very busy post parade this afternoon but we have some fast passes to use tonight!

27 Days!

thanks for the replies. I saw the post about top floor balconies. What rooms do they include and do you have good views. We have a standard but my 2 yr old loves throwing things thru the post. Lost a few of her books at the beach that way.:rolleyes1 So if we could get a balcony closed in that may make me feel better. I don't want a patio for sure. Also, we are going in Feb. I know the weather is iffy. But are the pools warm at all. We went in May and I thought they were rather cold then. I don't want my kids to get sick. Also, will t-shirts and jeans be good for them or shorts/dresses. they will be 2.5years old and 4.5 mths. thanks I sooo super duper excited. Not looking forward to the 15 hr drive. gulp. But the look on my 2 yr old face when we see tons and tons of Mickey...PRICELESS!! and Expensive

We are getting in fairly late (9:30 at MCO), when does the gift shop at WL close at night? Thanks! :goodvibes

Finally, we can see the end of the tunnel.:santa:

The Direct # for Sturdy Branches Health Club is 407-938-4222.

This brochure lists numbers for All the Spa's/Health Clubs on site, so I'm thinking that this pricing is good for all of them except for the GF & SSR. It also notes that Boardwalk, CR, and Yacht & Beach only offer Massage services.
It looks like the CR, CSR, GF & Y&B offer salon & Barber services.

The standard view rooms on the North wing are over the service area, so anything tossed there might not be easily retrievable. None of those rooms have enclosed balconies. The other standard rooms are over the Check-in to the south. I'm not sure what kind of balconies those have.

February can be hit or miss. This past February it was 80-90 every day and sunny when we were there. A couple years back we had to wear our winter coats at night. Hit below freezing a couple nights. Now those are extremes, but you can get the idea.

The pools are suppose to be around 80 all year round.

We have offically decided we are returning to the wonderful WL next November!!! We had originally planned to go a year from this Feb. but the lure of MVMCP and the WL Christmas decorations has got the best of us! I just hope for a code or a deal!

Whenever we are looking at our WDW photos the other day and DS saw pictures of him and DD on the bridge in the lobby and he nearly cried saying he wanted to go back. I had thought of trying out other resorts (I want to stay at the CBR) but there is no way to change DS and DH's minds, and I wasn't hard to convince either!

Tomorrow is Ranger Stan's last day.:sad1: Goodbye Stan, you will be missed. WL will never be the same!!

Sad to hear this, catching up with Stan was always a highlight of staying at the lodge.

Best wishes Stan!
