Just got back, folks!

We loved our stay at WL CL.

Starting with what's most important - FOOD!
The food offerings were great in the club.
More than enough for breakfast every morning. Although as we all know, WDW has the worst coffee. Really how hard is it to get decent coffee. I swear it was decaf.
Afternoons nice snacking - goldfish, pretzels and gummy bears. Sodas.
Evening offerings were great. Several nights we had beef or chicken kebabs. One night there was a great salmon chowder. Every night, veggies & dip, cheese & crackers and bread & spreads. The wines were good. I drank a lot of merlot. And beer was available. So nice to be able to just grab a beer and head back to the room. Some nights it was more than enough for dinner after a big lunch. (Don't kill me.)
Desserts - A cobbler or upside down cake, cookies, magic bars. Liquors and wine. And milk for the kiddos.

The room was great. The kids loved the bunk beds and having them in separate beds was a nice change. No cover stealing. No kicking or poking. Mousekeeping was great. Towel animals every day. Stuffed animals arranged. We left little notes for our keeper and she always wrote back. I think big tips helped here. Our neighbor never left a tip and never got towel animals. Sorry but I think that's how it works.
The shower left much to desire in regards to water pressure and temperature consistency. Didn't care for the closed balcony on the 7th floor. We did like the inside courtyard view.
The restaurants at WL are what they are. We never ate at Roaring Forks, we really liked Artist Point for Christmas Eve dinner, and we don't need to eat at Whispering Canyon again. (Although it is cute to see how my kids yell out "KETCHUP" whenever they need it.
The food was fine. The atmosphere is not our style. For the money, we don't need to go back.) Had some seriously good food at AP. Order the truffle fries.
They were amazing.
For three days we were at MK, so the boat was great. Only long wait for a boat was coming back from the Contemporary to WL on 12/25. Loved the lake. The buses were good to DHS, AK and EPCOT. Never had much of a wait and only had to stand once. Didn't take Magical Express from MCO but I would consider it next time. The line moved quickly and the free part is great.
What we loved the most about WL was coming home every night.
The walk up the pier is so romantic. Going past the "geyser" by the pool up to the waterfall was a special part of the day. Especially since we'd just been at the Magic Kingdom. And the lobby and the Christmas tree. Goosebumps!
I hope everyone with an upcoming trip is getting excited. Me? Jealous? Never. Just hoping to go back sometime soon! (Although we did like the looks of the Grand Floridian.....)
Happy Holidays all you wonderful people. May all of your Wilderness dreams come true.
