I think I need to change the exercise routine...or rather start one. Thanks!

:thumbsup2 The thing I have to keep up with myself is the exercise. And I have no excuse as I get a free membership at work.

Not sure about dinner tonight. The kitchen was still torn up last night, the counters look great, and forgot to ask my DM to take out something for me today.

Hey ladies... Is Lindsay on vacation? It's been a while since she checked in here...

Good morning everyone...

WFD tonight, we are having chicken cordon blu with mashies and brussel sprouts

...its a convection oven too. The small door at the bottom is a warming tray. And, there's an interchangeable 5th burner in the middle for a griddle....:woohoo:

Nice kitchen update, kimmar!

PIO, your festival pictures were terrific!

Glynis, sounds like you are super busy as usual. I don't know how you do it.

Hi to everyone else! I read back but haven't been on for a few days to everything is blending together in my brain.

WFD: I am making panini and John and I are watching the Descendants.

Morning, all! It's bowling day today! I'm excited to get out of the house for a while. It's been a morning of arguing among the children, and brothers teasing sisters. Must have something to do with the crazy weather we've been having.

Dinner last night was a success. Jacob made a very tasty Doritos taco bake. It was yummy, and he had a great time cooking it all on his own.

Tonight's dinner is one I found on Pinterest: white chicken enchiladas. Yummy!!!

Kim - Your kitchen is gorgeous! I'm awfully jealous!

Good morning everyone,

Jen ~ I am so glad you are enjoying your spring break. The "spring cleaning" must feel good. I am in such a mess with redoing the bedroom that as soon as we are back in - this house is getting a COMPLETE top to bottom cleaning. And I told Doug I am getting help. He didn't argue :rotfl2:

PIO ~ Amazing pictures!! I really enjoyed them. Thanks so much for sharing.

Glynis ~ You take such good care of your family and US!! Thanks for checking in on Lindsay. I was worried.
I am sure your Lemon Chicken recipe is here somewhere, but would you mind reposting it. That sounds amazing!!

Brandi ~ Your food porn was great. I loved it all and litteraly wanted to lick my screen.

Alison ~ I love me some wienerschnitzel. You lucky duck. Please share your recipe. Oh and thanks for the shrimp chips. :rotfl2: Who would have thought they came out of a bag.

Merle ~ Your kitchen redo sound wonderful. I know it is a mess but it will be so nice when it is finished.

Becky ~ Nice to see you!! I really miss you when you aren't around.
Happy "13" Birthday to Liam............good grief where did that time go?

Kimmer ~ Your kitchen is beautiful. I love it

I am a bit sore this morning as my trainer really worked me hard last night. I am dreading tomorrow!! You know the kind of hurt/pain, it hurts so good?? I am determined that I will lose 10 pounds. Plus tighten up some of this middle age buldge. She keeps telling me that I am in better shape than most but this morning I am a hurting unit.

Doug is working on the bedroom tomorrow, but sometime, we will go to our favorite pub for our yearly helping of Corned Beef and Cabbage with a green beer. I can't wait!!

WFDT ~ We are going to the Catholic Church for their annual Fish Fry. But this year they have gotten smart......they are also offering steamed fish. I haven't gone for a few years because of the "fried" but tonight we will be going back.

Make it a great day all!!

Ellen, the working out sounds good and understand the good pain/hurt part.

Keep it up, and enjoy your fish!

Ellen~ I can't even imagine being in the midst of that home re-do for so long! And :cool1: for you doing so good with the working out! I wish I were as motivated as you!

Lindsay~ Wherever you are, we miss ya' girl!

Glynis~ How nice that Jacob made dinner! You have some great kids!

Kimmar~ Beautiful kitchen, doll!

 to everyone else.

Today is my BIL's 49th birthday. :lovestruc He's going to help me make his cake here in a bit. I'm making a white cake with raspberry buttercream frosting and gummy bears...per his request. :teeth:

We're going out to dinner tonight, so no dinner cooking tonight.

 all around!

I totally agree!!! But Doug is doing it all himself and I promised myself that I would NOT complain ........ and so far I haven't.

Tell Big C Happy Birthday from me. I hope his day is magical.

I checked in with her on facebook, and she said everything is ok, and she plans on coming back soon.

Thanks! I haven't been on FB a lot, I don't like the whole new timeline thing, but I got on board with it last weekend since it's mandatory tomorrow.

So what did you make on the griddle? :confused3

Nice kitchen update, kimmar!

Actually we went to this great Oktoberfest last Fall, it was just a couple days before I had the freezer meltdown and had to cook all that meat. There was so much extra food that they were handing us the styrofoam "clam shell" containers and telling us that we could even take them up to the buffet and bring home leftovers! We vacuum sealed the leftovers and they have been hiding in the freezer (one of three) behind all my bags of turkey and ham! I just found them when I had the second outside freezer meltdown and had to rearrange the freezer in the second kitchen.

Here is a picture of my plate from the original evening:
