I love to grill my salmon, It is more expensive than rib eye right now and I love Salmon....

I do too when I have the time. Last night I just ended up putting a Jalapeno Barbecue sauce on it because I got home later then I intended. The rub will have to wait until next week.

I was at the grocery store after the gym getting stuff for a meeting tonight and my DM called. We are getting a new counter top, faucet and light in the kitchen and the guy called to say he would be here today if it was raining, his other job was putting in windows. She needed my input at Home Depot on what faucet and light to get. Why she waited until the last minute to do that I just don't understand. :headache:

Dinner tonight is at the meeting.

Brandi- thanks for the links! i think the best tip was the egg crate..............I never would have thought of that for cooling the pops. I am definitely going to give them another try, the teacher said the kids loved them.

Jen- I love Whoopie Pies! My Mom used to make them when we were kids.

I have a veggie medley ready to saute and some snow peas and chicken for dinner. I made a cucumber and onion salad to go with.

Good evening y'all.

We are enjoying our Spring Break way too much. It's so nice to be lazy (or not) and to just get some things done around the house.

Today, UncleR smoked two chickens for dinner. And oh my word are they good. We're going to use some for chicken salad later. :cool1:

Hope everyone is having a great Tuesday!

...WFDT?? Tony Roma's. As you can see, STILL NO STOVE!

....well, the saga of the missing stove is FINALLY OVER!!!! today I'll be cooking on my BRAND-EY NEW STOVE!!!!

Morning, everyone! I'm back! The funeral was beautiful. A true celebration of his life! He was in the army in WW2, so his funeral was complete with military honors. Just incredible! I didn't realize until late in the day, that it was also my mother's 80th birthday. On our way home, my sister and I stopped at her grave and did some maintenance cleaning and reminiscing about her life. It was a treat!

Now, I'm home, and hopefully life will calm down somewhat. Dinner tonight will be lemon chicken with Kat's lemon spaghetti as a side dish. I also have some brussels sprouts that I think I'll roast up with some balsamic vinegar.

Have a great day, everyone!
