I have a wicked migraine today. I was drinking coffee for it, forgetting that most types of coffee tear my stomach to bits.

I read everything from yesterday and today and forgot what I was going to say. Stay warm up there. I can't say much. I was freezing this morning and it was like 45.

I hope you start feeling better. Tomorrow is another day.

The book Fair was a great time. I stayed till 4:30 and the place was packed. We are trying to raise money for new playground equipment. Hopefully we will do good.
I called to tell Jay to have a good flight tomorrow (I HATE goodbyes) and to tell him I loved him and that I would see him in a few months. When he answered the phone I heard Ethan crying in the background. When I asked him what was wrong he said he was just sad. Darn near broke my heart. Dear friends please keep them in your prayers. I so want this to be over!!!

I have errands to go run first thing, then I am going out to breakfast with mil(lord help me) then we are going to see my dgm at the nursing home. She is getting a bit loopy (at almost 96 she has the right to be lol) so I never know what am in for, but a few laughs for sure!
Tonight Kris and I are having our date night supper out then getting a few groceries....(we have our family Christmas party on Kris' side tomorrow night so that is why date night dinner is tonight) Tomorrow night after the party we are going out to our local artsy theater and seeing The Messenger with Woody Harrelson.

We're going to Lil G's, haven't been there in a while. Want to join us? Oh crap, Johnny just reminded me we have to make an appearance at a co-worker's Christmas party tonight, I totally forgot. Maybe we can still make it out to eat afterwards!

Kyle will be in for a few weeks. He has really buckled down and focused the past few months. I think he's gotten his head on straight after the first month of partying.

Okay - I'm not gonna complain about our cold weather anymore. I couldn't deal with below freezing temps!

Dinner tonight for me is our Staff Christmas Dinner. We're headed to Dickie Brennan's Steakhouse. Bob is on his own, but he'll pick up something from our favorite po-boy place.

No! I think this office has some sort of ghost or something! Last night it kept telling us that the computer wasn't hooked up, even though it was. Today it said it was ready to print but when I tried to print something the document just disappeared.

I think those same ghosts have been in our office this week. What was supposed to be a simple server exchange and minor upgrade on our groupwise mail system has turned into all kinds of problems. We've been running ragged at work this week. So glad I'm on vacation from work next week.

The sun is shining this morning and when you look out you think it is a beautiful day, but the temp. is only 5. But hey, that feels like a heat wave comapred to the last 2 days. It only got to -5 last night so the furnace worked perfectly.

Tonight Doug, Matthew and Stephanie are singing in our Community Christmas Concert. This is a beautiful program. Doug is thrilled to have 2 of his children singing with him. Elizabeth and I DON'T sing at all, but I love to hear them sing. This is always a hightlight of my Christmas season. They have been practicing for the last 2 months twice weekly. They sing tonight at 7 and on Sunday at 2. I so wish you all could hear this group of 155 people. They are awesome!!

WFDT ~ Big pot of Vegetable soup and homemade wheat bread. They have to be at the auditorium by 6:15. So it will be ready if they want a little something before or after the program.

Don't forget the reason for the season.

Hey Guys! Hope everyone is doing well. I am going to try and catch up a bit now. Eating lunch while T is napping. It is very cold today so I think I will skip swimming.

Not sure about dinner…A is going with donor and Tom is coming home but probably not until midnight so I will be alone. I am glad that I do not have to drive there alone with the baby and the dog. That would suck and I tend to fall asleep driving at night so he will come home the following 3 weekends. Hopefully he can sneak in a day or 2 at the NJ office.

Lauri D. Hope your foot is feeling better and is better enough for you to walk around WDW…if not get a scooter. It was the best thing I did when preggers and semi high risk. That is awesome that you are going orange picking.

Kat, Loved the eating tips! Yay on Santa Janice! Have fun tonight and tomorrow (I am jealous). Have fun with Kyle being home!

Janice, I think I may have missed this in the past…you go to the Library for Pokemon games? Now, here I thought Alex was studying, etc there! Andrew has so many of the cards but never played the actual game. He cannot bear to get rid of the cards though…those and probably thousands of yugi oh! Ugh! Glad it warmed up for you!

Nancy, I hope Kady is feeling better. How is Marisa? I am so not the relaxing type. I wish I was…I am stressing about the holidays now and my body is a big rash and I have a cold sore to prove it! Argh!

Ann, So sorry about the windshield. Will insurance cover it? How is Ron liking the job? What formula do you use? I just got a $7 for Enfamil and I use similac. I have to say again, I loved the pic of the kids! Is Emma eating a lot now? I gave T a piece of grilled cheese last night and think he was in heaven!

Welp, things were discouraging but not horrible. He is afraid I have a partial bowel obstruction, which would be causing the intense spasms of pain, but he is also concerned about the fistulas he found in the scope since this new drug doesn't seem to be doing much. I have a small bowel followthrough on Tues morning so he can see what is going on better. He wants that before I leave on the trip. In the meantime, I get to go on high doses of evil Prednisone and keep my Vicodin handy. Hopefully the steroid will kick some of it down a bit. Once he sees the results on Tues, we'll know better what we're looking at.

Aimee, I hate this for you. Hopefully the steroids will give you some relief though. You certainly need it.

Oh you are soooooo good!! Actually Doug came home around 2 and asked what was for dinner and I told him. He revolted BIG time, so the Tofu would really be out. I ended up with scrambled eggs with cheese and turkey sausage. Sad I know but at least he was happy.

Sorry. I hope I didn't jinx you. Kenny would eat the salmon, but would have me committed to the mental institution if I made tofu for him.

Prayers for you and your precious family. I cannot imagine what you and Laura's family go through.

Holy Moly, it's cold here! It's so windy too, I'm in for the day though and enjoying a nice fire.

Vickie- You can only go up from here. We get alot of fog here, but I've never seen it freeze though. It's really cool to watch it roll over the marsh.

Gretchen- We love bbq chicken pizza, but I made that last week so tomorrow (pizza/movie night) will be good old pepperoni.

Lauren- Enjoy a nice quite evening, I think a blanket, coach, and tv are just what you need.

Ellen- Poor little Ethan, my thoughts are with them today. I'm sorry, I forget, how old is Ethan? I don't sing either, so I'm in good company, my husband put singing talent on my Christmas list. He said afterall, it is a WISH list. My daughter could whistle before she could talk, and she can whistle just about anything. She can also figure out how to play songs on the keybord. Then there's me.

Kathy- Glad Kyle is doing well, enjoy his vacation just as much as he does.

Good for him! My brother's boy lasted less than one year before they gave up and made him come home. He went to CC and then back to finish. I'm glad that Kyle got it out of his system and then hit the books! Have a good visit!

WHen I stressed I used to break out in hives so I feel for you. No one could tell me to relax, it happens inside and shows up in those lovely red splotchy messes.

True story, I took my Mom and my Aunt on their Memorial Day excursion to the cemetery. It was and I am driving. The next morning I woke up covered in this raised red mass of blotches all over. Marisa took me to the ER and who is there, my sister's new BF Mike and there is nowhere to hide. So he treats me, Marisa gagging the entire time and then he wastes no time calling Gail to describe how bad I looked. I was not even home when she tracked me down and told me that I had scarred poor Mike for life

I made it a half day at work then came home. My stomach is still a mess; either from the migraine (doubtful- my head is mostly fine today) or from a stomach virus that is running around the school. The good thing about the virus that people are talking about is it's only a 12 hour one. Because I do NOT want to miss the party tomorrow!

Johnny would never try it, but we were at Whole Foods one day and he was raving about a sample of a dish he tasted, he thought it was chicken salad but it was tofu. The look on his face when I told him was priceless. I’m keeping you in my prayers, please call me if you need to talk.
