My dinner was SO YUMMY!

I sprinkled the tilapia with Cajun spice then sprayed it with some Pam & cooked it on my grill tray.

I made up a sauce of 2 parts Duke's Mayo., 1 part fat free sour cream, and I part powdered Cajun spice. It was really good!!

Yay, me! :yay:

,,,, OMG, were we separated at birth???!?!? :confused3 It was going to rain, so I decided to cook it in the oven instead. I sprinkled garlic powder and cajun spice on mine too, put it in a glass lasagna dish, and baked it in the oven. Meanwhile, I heated a 16 oz container of sour cream, 2 oz of milk, 1 T. dijon mustard, 2 t. dill, 1 t. onion flakes, and 1 oz of Olde Cape Cod Lemon/Pepper Marinade on a low flame. Then I spooned it over the tilapia, sprinkled a little bit of shredded mild cheddar and monterey jack cheeses, and continued cooking it for another 10 minutes until bubbly.

Nancy - It's your birthday and I missed it???

I'm so sorry!

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!!!

Thank you for all of your Happy Birthday Wishes! When I was younger ( I refuse to say how much younger ;)) my Mom used to tell me that she did not care about presents. I did not understand that. I loved the home made things from my children but I still liked to get those gifts. But I wanted to say that I understand what my Mom was telling me all those years ago. There is no gift to compare to that of a solid friendship, support when you need it and the gift of companionship.

When I stopped working I was really lonely and as I was researching our first real Disney vacation since my own children were little I stumbled onto the DIS. And met this wonderful group of women wo have become my friends. I count finding you one of the BEST DAYS EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will be taking a vacation in a couple of weeks and will be gone for two weeks, and I am so looking forward to it... So I understand about being burnt out....

Hope you have a great day!

You deserve a relaxing vacation!

We will drive up to Solvang area (for those who know So Cal geography) on Friday. We'll stay two nights and the club has a BBQ scheduled for Saturday night. I'm just looking forward to getting away even if just a couple nights.

It's also in wine country, so maybe we could hit a winery before going home.
This sounds like an amazing little get-away! Driving, fun and wine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:thumbsup2

:lmao::lmao:

Today is a rainy day. Dinner will be fair food, all eaten within the State Houses and the Better Living Center! ANd if it stops raining also along the little streets throughout the fair grounds :goodvibes

Nancy - In this age, 2D friends-in-a-box are as real to me as my 3D friends. I actually catch up with you all more often than I do my 3D friends. And its a rainy day here too. Cold. Rainy. Windy.

Alison - Have a great trip to Solvang. I ate at Root 246 in 2011 and it was very good food!
Enjoy your new computer!

Brandi - Enjoy your vacay.

All this vacay and getaway talk is making me very envious. I had hoped to take a week off in mid October but it looks like it might be closer to early November now.

WFDT? We had fish and chips for dinner. Not exactly healthy; but it was quick and convenient. Pick up phone, order and then a quick pick up from the joint 10 minutes later. :thumbsup2

....not to mention our sense of style and the fact that we can cook like nobody's biz-ness...;)
