I keep trying to get even a hint from the SW reps on when the schedule will open, but nothing. Today, I called and asked for December. They said the schedule was only open through October 28. I said incredulously, "But I heard the schedule is opening today through December. Is that not right?" But not a bite. "Sorry, but we don't know when the schedule is opening. You will have to continue checking back." They must have *some* clue. Wish they'd share it so I can start channeling my obsessions in another direction

They must have *some* clue.

Actually, I don't believe they are told until the schedule is released, similar to CRO knowing when AP rates are coming out!!!

If you go by past release dates, it should be this thursday (7/14)...

We're waiting for November 27 - December 2. I can't afford the other airlines prices at this point! Airtran wants 286$ out of PHL, and that was one way!!! They're nuts! I was going to buy a one way ticket on USA3000 but the time stinks. Hopefully SW will release their dates soon.....

Spoke to a rep just yesterday. I didn't know so many people were waiting. Anyway, she said the dates weren't released yet but she said, "It should be any day now. Keep checking back." I was really pleased, but then she said, "we've been hearing it will be any day now for weeks, but it should be very, very soon."

So there you have it.

For almost your exact same dates we booked USA3000 out of PHL. We did take the stinky time so we added a night ahead of the trip and are leaving on the 25th instead of the 26th. Direct, no stops. Our fare was $140 rt total.

Just in case you are tired of waiting. I couldn't wait anymore, because when I first looked at USA3000 it was $20 lower! I didn't want to chance it any further giving that we are travelling over a holiday weekend.

I am jumping on the bandwagon with the rest of you! I am tired of looking at Harrisburg to MCO over Thanksgiving for $418. I thought I would see what was offered through SW from PHL or BWI and drive an extra 2 hours.

I have to laugh I'm from the Central PA area (Harrisburg) and I never look for airfare out of there, always more expensive. We fly to MCO 3 or 4 times a year and always fly SWA out of BWI. I find BWI is easier to get to than PHL. Anyhow, add me to the list of those waiting, however I'm sure only my flight down will open with this batch. I'm going Dec. 10-20th. Hopefully soon!

IF tomorrow is THE day, what time will they go on sale? Midnight central time? Do you think they'd wait until Fri. since they run their Tues-Thurs. specials and they might want to wait until Thurs. is over?
