She is just getting started... I think there are 3 updates so far. So it's early. I hope it's as funny as the last one. I dunno though... she doesn't have her horrid sister with her on this one so it may loose some comedic value. We'll see.

Are you getting excited to leave??? Tat's list on Cheri's thread made me want to go so bad!!! I SO wish I could spend my birthday with Mickey! And Sharky and QM!!!

OH cool! Yeah, without the drama it might be a little dull but hopefully it will still be good. I'll go over there and check it out once I put this load of laundry up that I just folded. I'm just about done thank God. Got one load in the dryer that I'm waiting on and the last load is in the washer.

I am and I'm not at the same time. I'm still a little worried about Ike but I think it will be okay. I'm praying that it will at least. I would feel terrible if we didn't go at this point because Rebecca has already stocked up on food and drinks and such for us to be there and she is oober excited. I think picking out the clothes I'm going to wear down there is helping me get more excited. I know once we're down there everything will be fine. I just hate the uncertainty of Ike, you know? I wish you could be down there with us all too. I really hope the Disneyland trip that we've been talking about for a while will work out and become a reality. I want to meet everyone from here at some point. I'm excited that I get to meet Dianna and Karen this trip. And I'll see Cheri and Nikki again. It's going to be great fun. But I will miss the ones that won't be there like you and Sharky and Chele and Orangie and UJ and I know I'm forgetting someone that won't be there.

Just keep thinking of what Nikki said ~ a little rain clears everyone out and then you have an empty park all to yourselves! It POURED on us during MVMCP and that was still the BEST part of our trip!

Yeah that's true. Wow really? It was still the best part? I was actually thinking of cancelling our MNSSHP if it's gonna rain during it. What made your MVMCP so great even though it rained? I like clear parks...if the rain is going to do that then I'm all for it. I'd like some walk on rides for sure. I'm actually glad I have EPCOT planned for the last day we're down there so there's less of a chance of rain since most of that park is walking around the world showcase. I could deal with it but we'd get really soaked just walking around outside all day. At least with the other parks you're either in line or in a ride most of the day.

I'm the very same way. I hate it when things don't go my way or how I planned them. I will try to have the same attitude you had at MVMCP and just have fun no matter what happens because lord knows I cannot control Ike or how much rain he produces over Florida while I'm there. Thanks for the advice. I definately plan on making a trip to walmart or target tomorrow evening so we'll be investing in some ponchos and I even have a winnie the pooh umbrella that I can bring too

Just throw that storm on people we don't know huh!! The problem with that is I know people all over or people connected to them. Thats what happens when you're raised as an evangelists kid. i've been feeling for the poor people in Cuba we know some missionaries there and OH no wonder they'd rather chance death in a little crowded sinking boat to try to escape to the states!! Not only is it a rough country but they get ALL the weather from these storms

No Seriously I do know what you mean. Where I live we are usually a spot where evacueescome. We are in between Houston and Lufkin which usually has shelters set up. When Rita came it threw us all for a Loop. We had all these Katrina people and then trying to get them all out of the Astrodome and further into Tx or out of it clogged our main rds up. I left our town an hour before the rest of my family in this area and I made it to Athens Tx where my sister was at the time 5hours before they arrived!! And then the way it hit Galveston and the Golden Triangle area it came to us and we actually had damage. The only good thing is our Mayor at the time recieved an award for having the quickest response. We had lights restored and emergency supplies before a lot of the surrounding areas so that makes me feel a little safer!!!
I worked in some of the red cross shelters after Katrina and those poor people had so much ripped from them I don't want to see ANYONE I know go through that again.
God PLEASE keep them all safe!!!

I am okay. The girls and I went to Costco today. I lead such an exciting life. And I went and bought hair dye for the girls and Kody is trying to talk me into using the rest of her maroon dye because she bleached and is going to go with maroon on top that.

Tonight Itook a chapter form everybody elses book tonight and had a couple of beers and a shot bottle of Cutty Sark. Now I have that alcohol sweat going on and a nice buzz. Shame be heaped aupon me.
