Thanks! Well, I honestly didn't know I was going to be gone that long either. When I got down there my cousin said she was having the gingerbread party the next Saturday so I decided to stick around for it. With my health the way it is and surgery coming up, family is everything right now, you know? It's all about the little things these days.

We can still celebrate the party, I jumped on the thread last night when I got home. We can keep the party going you know! I'm going to go look for hot guys and food.

After 10 pm tonight though I don't get to eat. I have to have an abdominal ultrasound tomorrow. I can't eat until 4 pm!!!!!!!!!!!!! Y'all are going to have to work overtime to keep me occupied so I won't think about food.

That's wonderful that you got to spend some quality time with your family. I don't blame you for wanting to stick around longer. The gingerbread parties and barn parties sound fun.

We are definitely going to party hard on the celebration board. In fact, I'm working on some special additions for the party. I've got two windows open so that I can chat and work on the party at the same time!

That's a good attitude to have . I think everyone should adpot that attitute-- people would be so much happier.

They were a blast. I loved the barn party. Any time I can hang with my horse, I'm a happy camper. Not to mention, my horse's stall won Best Overall in the decorating contest.

We are definitely going to party hard on the celebration board. In fact, I'm working on some special additions for the party. I've got two windows open so that I can chat and work on the party at the same time!

Ooooh, hot guys. Yes, we shall talk about hot guys all day. You haven't seen my endocrinologist's assistant doc. Bow chicka wow wow. Oooh umgowa, Z's got the Powa! He's hot, hot, hot! I almost died when I had to spend a ton of time with him going over labs and stuff. That man can draw my blood any day of the week. Blond hair, blue eyes. Oh yeah......

Not yet, it's looking like March for the surgery because that's the only time I can squeeze myself in between my parents vacations and have enough time to recuperate. It's wonderful having retired parents... Mom, dad, I need brain surgery, um, what time is convenient for you? Well honey, we've got golf in San Diego in January, Hawaii end of February/beginning of March, Alaska in May. Do you think you can squeeze it in somewhere in there?

It's so weird how you go through something like this and all of a sudden, the little things mean more than anything. Taking the kids bowling. I'd never have done that before, but it was a blast! Gingerbread parties, honestly, not normally my style, but I wouldn't change going for anything. In fact, I'm planning for next year...

Cool, you went with gift bags! You can't go wrong with those. I am pretty terrible at gift wrapping, so I get gift bags all the time. I'm glad that you're feeling better. Now you can go out with Patrick Dempsey! Please get thy Unicorn butt over to celebration board. Now that Honugirl's back, we can par-tay!! By the way, another hot guy joined the party and Rora made some purple martinis. We've also got a dance off going on. Go and find your best dancing smilie!

Okay, so my job turned into basically replacing two people in the Accounting department for 6 hours a day and then going to the Circulation department for 2 hours a day. You can imagine how busy I am (I open all the mail, sort all the checks between departments, enter all of the payments - and at a newspaper, that means payments for classified ads, Circulation, and all ads, and make sure everything balances along with other little miscellaneous duties....in circulation, I do anything that's considered heavy data entry or checking after our overseas people that do data entry.) You can also imagine how tired I am at the end of the day. I still think of you guys....just don't have a ton of time to post on here.
Oh, and speaking of man candy you guys should see the bartender at the restaurant that my boyfriend and I frequent. I can't drink for obvious reasons but we sit at the bar, I drink Sprite to his beer, and we eat a couple of times a week. The bartender is not what would usually be my type - he's tall, tattooed, and bald but he has a gorgeous smile and very pretty eyes. I have a definite crush LOL

That's great that you won't have to wait too long for your surgery. That's too funny about you having to squeeze your surgery in between your parents' trips. I know that this is a hard situation for you to be in, but it's nice to see that you've kept your sense of humor. I really admire you for that.

I don't think they're going to hire anyone else. I think the current economic times are the reason they brought me over from Circulation where I started working 8 hour days. They knew I could do two people's jobs because of what my boss in Circulation had to say about me.
No, no pictures of Eric.....I can't even imagine his reaction if I asked to take one. He's pretty shy and didn't even start talking to us for the longest time.
