The trip of a million SCREAMS!

Just got all caught up, what a great TR! Isn't the CP french toast the best, can't wait to get a plate full in 3 weeks.

Congrats on the dream fast pass, LOL at the stalking bit, better be careful can you imagine getting a restraining order from the Mouse?

You're a celebrity! You have the papparazzo and everything!

Remember how I said we kept getting comments about our shirts? We were walking in World Showcase, around Canada and UK, just before you get to the boardwalk exit, when this guy starts yelling at us. “Hey, you’re the Incredibles. You’re famous. Can I take your picture?” Mr Diz and I looked at each other. We didn’t know what to think. We’ve been hearing all day, “There’s the Incredibles” but no one had asked to take our picture. Why would this crazy guy even want our picture? So I just told him, Yes, we are very Incredible and we posed for a picture. I considered giving him the “I’m watching you” look and explaining it, but Mr. Diz was already getting mad at me because I kept telling everyone about it. I couldn’t believe no one had asked me about my lanyard, so I decided I would start pointing it out to people. Every time we rode a ride, I would tell CMs that if they saw anymore green lanyards like mine, to give them the signal. Mr. Diz was also hungry because it was about 7:30 and we ate a huge breakfast, shared a Dole Whip Float and that was it. Sometimes his stomach gets in the way of his attitude.

Side note: After returning from our trip, I was on the disboards and our photo appeared. Turns out it was IBelieve207 and her DS. She noticed my lanyard when she was looking over her photos. I wish she would have noticed my lanyard at Epcot. Her DS only got Mr Diz and me, cut off our 2 cutest Incredibles. IBelieve said it was DS first time being a Papparazi.:rotfl:

That's my boy! I taught him to yell like that, you know! :thumbsup2 I love being in another DISer's TR, it is soooo cool. :cool2:
Miz Diz: your TR is great even if you hadn't mentioned us! :woohoo:

Awww - thanks!

After you told us about the Dream squad being near Peter Pan, I told all my relatives and made an effort to hover near the area too.
My 4 yo niece was greeted by one coming out of Snow White: her mom (my SIL), held her breath while Hannah answered several questions. But, she ended up getting a certificate for defeating the witch and some "pixie dust" to put in her shoe." My SIL (who was dying for ANY fast pass) was kind of let down, and Hannah (4) didn't really understand it.:)
The next time, one came up to my MIL outside of Peter Pan. She asked her if she was enjoying the park, was planning to stay all day (YES, YES), then she asked how many was in her party.
She said 8 (really, we were 2 groups of 4 and the four of us had just been Grand Marshalls that morning). The dream lady said Oh, have a magical day and walked on"
So, maybe the correct answer to things is 4. Any ideas what she could have won???

What are the Grand Marshalls? How did you get that?

We were Grand Marshalls in the Dream Come True Parade on Friday at noon!
I made everyone get up early to open the MK (DD13 whining), then we all made plans to rush the rope and run to Space Mountain......then my DD10 saw someone on Main street with cool pins. She went up to him and asked to pin trade. He said.........well, how about if I give you these and you keep your pins. She got 2 of the Dreams come true "Tinkerbell" pins. He said you cannot buy them so they are very special (plus, she LOVES Tink)
Then, he asked if we were staying in the park all day (YES) and if we loved Disney (YES, and of course, we all were wearing Disney and sporting different ears!)........so he invited us to be Grand Marshalls--if you were in MK that day, it was the noon parade and we were in an antique car. It was very cool!
And I don't think he was a Dream team member (or maybe in disguise as he wasn't wearing their uniform!)

That is soo cool! I don't know if we were asked if I could do that! I would be so scared! Congrats on your win though!!:goodvibes

We were there that day - that is the morning we ate at Crystal Palace and were waiting by the castle for 9am to come. We did not see the parade, although I wanted to see it. Wish I would have seen it!

Dang! My MIL did not have a video camera and her pics are shaky at best! I think she was still sore since I said there was only 4 of us for the parade....:rolleyes1
DisneyJo wants me to start a TR--I'll ponder that while doing the dishes that were supposed to be done this morning.:guilty: Still don't know how to post pics. Can you post the ones from photo pass? Did yours turn out well? We have 91 on it, but they are so-o-o expensive! Maybe the budget board folks know a good deal on them...

I'll PM you.

Thanks for the tips! I will play some with the photo book idea and try to upload to photobucket. I have a satellite internet connection which sometimes chooses to shut down instead of uploading pics--I will talk to it nicely this time!;)

Waiting for more of your TR: I'll set the mood::charac2:
--------ah---remember this time last week at the Magic Kingdom.........walking down main street........ wearing a jacket for the first cooler day..............seeing the castle outline the beautiful blue sky......:tink:
And then..........

I wanted to get to Animal Kingdom as soon as they opened and they were opening at 8AM this morning. We actually didn’t do too bad and made it to Animal Kingdom at 8:30. Again – we had a plan. First stop – Expedition Everest. I rode, while DH waited with the 2 kids. This was my second time on Expedition Everest and I love it! I really, really hate big drops, but I love this one. Hamster would love to ride this. Mr Diz won’t let him ride Space Mountain because of the single sitting – just doesn’t feel it is safe. I won’t let him ride Expedition Everest because both times I rode this, my behind hit air when we went down that hill.

Side note: Hamster would like for me to ride Splash Mountain, but I won’t do it since I hate big drops. Mr Diz says if I can do Expedition Everest, I should be able to do Splash Mountain. Problem is, Mr Diz has never been on Expedition Everest, so how can he compare? Anyone out there been on both? Is the drop on Splash Mountain that bad? If I can do Everest, can I do Splash Mountain?

Oh- you will have no problems on Splash--there is something about the water rides that takes the stomach roll out of it! I was nervous the first time, but now I just enjoy the ride and the "zip-a-dee-do-dah" song at the end!
I love Everest too, but definitely think it's more of a thrill ride.

After Expedition Everest (only had 10 minute wait and did not get in the single rider line and yes there were lots of screams there!), Hamster and Mr Diz rode Kali Rapids – immediate entry. I took Girl and went to get Safari fast passes. Hamster was sitting in the Soaker Seat, so he refused to ride it again with me. While Hamster got his face painted, Girl and I rode Triceratop Spin. Then Hamster and I rode Primeval Whirl (Mr. Diz gets motion sick so he won’t ride it) – 5 minute wait. Then Hamster and I rode Dinosaur – 5 minute wait. Then we did the Safari ride.
After the Safari ride, we decided not to walk the trails there, but go back to Asia and see the Tigers in the Maharajah Jungle Trek.

On the way there, we saw Divine. This is our first time ever seeing her. She is FREAKY!

So we get up Wed morning at 5:30. yes that is AM.

I believe it is a crime to wake up before 8:00; however, work forces me to get up earlier than that. When the alarm clock goes off, I usually have to lay in bed for about 20 minutes before I can function. I'm supposed to be at work at 7:30, but frequently show up at 7:45, or closer to 8. And don't even talk to me in the morning - at least not before 10am. :offtopic:

But this is the day we go to Disney, so I am right out of bed. My DH can't believe it. But I know we need to get out of the house by 6:00 to beat all the Atlanta traffic.

After we load the car, I wake the kids. Here are some more screams. So, I leave them in their jammies, strap them in, and we take off at 6:30. This is pretty darn good for us. We head down 400 and have gone approximately 10 miles when DD2, starts with "ba, ba, ba"
ME: What's she saying?
DD2: I want ba, ba, ba
Me: What?
DH: I don't have that song baby. It's in the other car.
DD2: BA, BA, BA!!!!!!!!!!!
ME: She wants to hear "Bye, Bye, Bye?" (Backstreet Boyz)
DD2 screaming now: BA, BA, BA!!!!!!

Let me explain. DS6 discovered this old CD and DH plays it for the kids every time they are in his car. They both love it - that and Gwyn Stefani's "Wind it Up." So every morning he plays those 2 songs for DD2 on the way to daycare.

So I try to console DD2 and explain we don't have that song. Please quit asking. Let's find something else.
This is all a lie-isn't it NSync? LOL
