Hi Fred! :wave2:
I just realized I never "officially" welcomed you, so...WELCOME!

I have a question. I'll be moving to Orlando later this month, but you don't have my apartment complex listed in the "Resorts" list. What to do?? ;) :teeth:

Remember I talked once about how weird coincidences always happen to me. (I think I've discussed this phenomena here before. )

Anyway, I'm on the peep thread posting a link to the a peep research website, my phone rings, I pick it up, and it is one of our customers. His last name is Pepe (pronounced peep).

Thanks for listening to my story. I knew you'd understand. I needed to have a witness. :teeth: ;)

Gabby gabby gabby! I never can keep up with you all! Jeez, take a shower and get in some traction ( you should try it sometime; just like a rack in midevil times! HAHAHA!!!) and I am totally lost again!

This time I did see a question. I rarely get to see the question and all I see are answers; never can answer! Someone I miss...may sound corny, but I miss Karen Carpenter. I loved her voice and grew up with her music.

BTW, Bichon Barb, how's hubby doing?

Well he came in the office, but that only lasted less than two hours, then he started to hurt again and went home. :(

Well, this post certainly confirms some suspicions I've had lately regarding the stability of Barb's mental state.

OOPS! Did I type that out loud?!?! Sorry Barb! ;)

They're coming to take me away ha-ha
They're coming to take me away ho-ho
hee-hee ha-ha
To the funny farm...

:tilt: :scared: :3dglasses :upsidedow :crazy2:

BTW, HB, thanks for naming those orange peanuts for me -- Circus Peanuts! :crazy2: (HB and I were discussing our dislike for peeps and Circus Peanuts.) Their aren't too many sweets I don't like...how about mazipan? Yuk! Or how about the jellies in a box of chocolate. What a disappointment to get one of those! Or, I know...I know...Warheads! Has anyone ever tried those? They are extremely sour candy. My mouth is watering right now just thinking about those.

I need to get a quote out. What am I doing here?

Thank You Thank You Thank You All!! I don't know if you could understand how much better it makes me feel to know there are parents who went through this too. In my day (now I'm making myself sound so so not so young) Kindergarten was where you went to have fun and learn to play with others. We only had to learn ABCs, colors, shapes and maybe some words. Now they have to form basic sentences. Recognize sound families. Add. Subtract. Holy Cow! There really oughta be year round school everywhere in the USA. I think that's the only way these children are going to have good educations in our ever growing reliance on technology. Every time they're out for 3 months it's going to be harder and harder to jumpstart their brain cells. Now that I don't feel like a failure as a parent (I'm right in the middle of a moodswing - must be the lack of sunlight) I have to decide if he's going back half day of full day. (We have the choice here but I've heard that there are places that don't offer half day Kindergarten anymore). Thanks again for all your hugs and PD I really appreciate them.
Now on to other things. I had half a brownie (from our Pastor's farewell dinner Sunday), 4 marshmallows, and my youngest's leftover Ramen Creamy Chicken Soup. It's impossible to feed both the boys at the same time when they're sick. Just impossible.
Breakfast was the other half of the brownie and my DH leftover vanilla latte. (I know I'm pathetic:( ) Anywho, I really miss John Ritter. I even used to watch Three's Company to see his comedy schtick. Oh, I also miss Charlie Chaplin, The Three Stooges (any combo), Laurel and Hardy, and also Abbott and Costello. (Who can forget the time the met the Mummy!)
*Maybe I should start putting a warning label on my posts*
*Loooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggg*

Woo hoo! I'm so excited! Joe just called to tell me that he had changed our ressies for our September trip. At first, I though he had shortened it  when in fact, he changed it to 5 nights at Pop Century and 5 nights at Port Orleans French Quarter! Yay! We've never ever split our stay like that but we were afraid that we wouldn't like Pop Century. We're not big "value" resort fans to be honest.

Hey Huggabaloo, if you're in Orlando at that time, maybe we can meet at Pleasure Island for a drink or two (or more LOL!). Have a "boys night out"!

I must agree with you there. Whereas I do love chocolate, I do not want it mixing it up with my bagel. I take my plain, except for a nice coating of cream cheese of course.:D

OMGawd! Tens days at WDW?!?! Man, I hate you guys. ;)

llebrekniT, where the heck have you been!? Did I scare you away with that book I wrote you this morning? ::yes::

Ditto...also, I know this is probably weird, but I really miss Phil Hartman.

Not weird at all, that's who I was going to say. Him and Chris Farley too.

Certainly! I'll let you know which wall I'll be up against so you can come get me and start introducing me to all the people you met on your way from the entrance! :teeth:

BTW, good call on splitting your stay IMHO. We stayed at Pop Century for 6 nights when we went in January and, as much as we enjoyed it, we were both sort of sick of it by the last few nights. We had tried to get the last 2 nights at WL, AKL or POR, but because it was MLK weekend, we were out of luck. I'm sure you'll have a blast...especially if you get to meet me, you know, since I'm the life of the party and everything!

Actually, the more I learn about everyone here, the more I want to meet you all. I think we would all have such a great time together! ::yes::

First, sorry about all the quoting. I'm feeling lazy right now.

Sorry, been to the mall with DHB and when I got home I had to deal with a work-related catastrophe. I've decided I don't like working with my hubby. He's too difficult. I need a new job. Do you like working with your hubby? Anyway, I was catching up on the posts and I'm off to read my PM now. I'm so excited!:hyper:

Hey everyone. I'm back from the mall, shopping with llebrekniT. Lainie got a few things & I got 2 new t-shirts for Josh. Disney Store= $5.99 each. One has Mickey & the other has Stitch. Stitch reminds me of Josh. I know that is scary, but just ask llebrekniT. Oh, I also got a Mickey t-shirt for me, $7.99.

Anybody wanna know what I do for work? I work part-time at the cable company. I am "weekend dispatcher". I am really putting that Bachelor's degree to good use I tell ya! I love it, though. No stress, when I leave work, I leave work. Don't even think about it until I go back. Best part is that I pay $8/per month for high-speed cable internet & $7.95/month for digital cable including all premium channels.

Today's question, easy. Jerry Garcia. I also miss Phil Hartman. NewsRadio is one of my all-time favorite TV shows. It is coming out on DVD this year & I can't wait to buy it.

HuggaBaloo, I guess that book you gave me worked. I am starting to think like you!

I didn't know you worked with your hubby! Well, lemme tell ya what it's like. :happy1: I DEFINITELY have grounds to sue the man for sexual harrassment!

No really, it's okay. ;)

I didn't know you work with your husband. Kudos to you! To tell the truth, I love Joe and all, but yeesh. I'd end up killing him, stuffing him and propping him in a corner.

When DH puts something on my desk that he wants me to do, I do this    .

Or if I make a mistake (which of course almost never happens ;) ) then I get very

And not that I have anything to hide from him, but I don't like him to know how much time I spend on the DISboards. He is antisocial and just doesn't get it. ;)

BUTTTTTTT, a little while ago he we spoke on the phone about what was going on at the office, and he made it a point to tell me how much he appreciates that I am taking care of things here while he is out, and that just made me feel 100 percent better.

I admit, sometimes I feel a bit taken for granted which then makes me feel resentful and  . That's why it is so important to point out a job well done. :D

HuggaBaloo we missed one another by a week at Pop Century. Was it me or did the food totally suck. Other than that, it was fine. For 55/night, it could not be beat. You never did answer me as to the location of the apartments? Did you hear anymore about the position? Did you send a thank you?
RickinNYC you will really enjoy the backflashes of the era's in the entrance. I was found there gazing several times. The arcade was very cool too. My DS enjoyed it a lot and I can't resist a game or two. One I played was like virtual boxing where you pick up these weighted things that go on your hands it tracked you by your steps on a mat that was action sensored. It was so cool.....try it. I can really see you getting a bang out of it and Joe just rolling his eyes at how dumb you are being in a kids arcade. :p I was sore the next day though. It was quite a workout and I made it to round 3.

If you guys get to meet up in PI, go into the circulating bar and order a lifesaver, they are awesome.

Deadheadbelle hey that degree is doing just fine, you have it and this job is working for you so that's what counts. Sometimes, I wish I had a job where I did not have to babysit and use my noodle so much. It can be mentally stressful at times.

OK, right now I'm mad at everybody. Well not everybody, but a whole bunch of people.

First off, yes I work with DH, but I would like to hand in my resignation effective immediately.

This morning a builder called and there was a problem that needed to be fixed. DH doesn't like to get trouble calls during the day, he has asked that I wait until he's home and then he'll deal with it. So I didn't tell him. The builder called again and asked when he was coming because they had to turn the water off at this house and it is occupied. So I had to call him in the middle of the day and tell him.

He went through the roof. Not because I called him in the middle of the day, because I didn't call him before it started raining as this problem is outside and now he will have to get muddy. Also, he said I told him it wouldn't rain until late in the day and it's been raining since about noon. So he blames me for the bad forecast, which I took straight from the Weather Channel.

Next person I'm mad at - DFIL, DH's dad. He's supposed to pick up Holly from school today. He didn't. Poor baby was sitting there all alone. Apparently DMIL was supposed to let me know that he couldn't get her today, but she didn't. Mark her down on my you-know-what list.

I've had it. I'm feeling both flattened and ticked off at the same time. I better go before I type something I regret.
