I don't know what Ricky or geffric do, work wise? I know geffric talk a lot about missing bonuses though, I get the bonuses here usually Dec - June, but haven't had a raise in 2yrs. It's not me people, everyone. This year doesn't look good either.

I think the cappuccino cream cheese sounds delightful! Chocolate chip bagels are GOOD....double the chocolate.

Lewski709, I manage the volunteer services department for a NYC based non-profit. I have about 1,400 great volunteers who help us in the office, food collection, fund raising and more. Here's our website: www.cityharvest.org

It's a great gig. I really love my job!

RickinNYC you';d get along great with DH and his chooclate chip panckes as long as you have some bacon with it, OJ and then walk around the parks!

always great to hear about someone who LOVES their job and quite a rewarding job it is! BTW, I love having all kinds of things going at the same time.....keeps it interesting.

Never had Lox and cream cheese, but I'd be willing. Not much I don't like.

Yes RickinNYC in Chicago we eat all sorts of bagels.. we don't need to be restricted to only plain egg bagels ..we have evolved!!:teeth:

Lewski709 I sell Business Intellience and predicitive analytic software..

No color here - CAPS! I'm covering the phone and two computers and besides, I'm lazy. :teeth:

YUM, I like a sesame bagel with a schmear and of course a little lox. Oy vey! I get verklempft just thinking about it. :hyper:

TINK BACKWARDS, you will regret typing the PM, because you're going to be reading my reply for 15 minutes. ;)

DISLUVERS, :grouphug: You need to do what is best for each child. My kids are only 2 years and 2 months apart, but three grades apart. Eric was 4 years old for the first two months of kindergarten, and it ended up working out for him. Hunter was 5 years old when he started kindergarten and turned 6 only four months later, and that is what was best for him. I really fretted if we were doing the right thing with sending Eric so early (the cut off date is only a week or two after his birthday). By 4th or 5th grade, it all equals out and the ages are no longer a factor.

LEWSKI, are you in sales? We are a manufacturers rep. Who else is in sales here?

MAD4MICKEY, get out of lurkdom. Personally, I am SOOOOO over the wrist slapping we got. Actually, I've become very nostaligic of those "gold old days". Sighhhhh. We really need to have a TAG meet.

BTW, Mercury. (Remember Freddy Mercury. What a legend!)(

Today question: What deceased celebrity do you miss?

I'll say Freddie Mercury and John Candy.

:(

chocolate chip pancakes, chocolate chip waffles, chocolate scrambled eggs, poached eggs and chocolate chips, chocolate crepes...these are a few of my favorte things

Bichon Barb what lines do you rep??

I sell software..

Today's question... Jim Hensen

OMG. Sorry. For all of you have asked and keep forgetting to answer (maybe something subconscious?) Rob is doing better. He even mentioned possibly coming into the office for a couple of hours today. But I'm guessing he probably found the couch, a pillow and blanket, 'cause he's not here. ;)

This morning there was an article in the paper about a big RV show this weekend. He wants us to play hookey on Friday and just the two of us go while the kids are in school. Geez, I thought he was on his death bed. How is he going to walk around three buildings at the State Fair Grounds? ;)

Oh boy. Look what the cat just dragged in. As we speak...

Hey, maybe he can take me to lunch today.

Well, I'd have to definitely say Mr. Walt Disney himself!

Electronics. Microwave stuff. Doodads and thingamajigs. Rob has tried to explain what these components do, but I always fall asleep half way through his explanation. ;)

Besides missing Walt Disney, I miss the old time actor and actresses. Like Judy Garland or Gregory Peck. I've always been a fan of the 30 and 40's pictures. Must be why I watch Turner Classic Movies all the time.

It took a long and winding road to get to this job. I actually spent the first twelve years of my post-college life in national account management and sales with a bit of dabbling in quality assurance/project management. The pay was terrific. Gotta love those quarterly commission checks and annual bonuses!

But I was never really satisfied. Without boring you all with the details, or causing a scene, after 9/11, I really felt I needed to make a career switch. I wasn't getting any younger (35 at the time), so now was as good a time as any.

I haven't regretted the change one bit (with the exception of staring at my check book from time to time... sigh).

Ditto...also, I know this is probably weird, but I really miss Phil Hartman.

Uncanny, account management and sales, why are these things so familiar.......;).
I understand your change and while the money may not be there, the rewards certainly are glowing.

Ah yes, Phil Hartman, Walt, gregory Peck....all good. I seem to forget them, no cable tv so I live a sheltered TV life.

On a side note, (and you all may have seen this elsewhere...sorry) you all know about my "Who's Going" database right? Click the link in my signature. It let's you enter your dates and see who is going when you are. It's been pretty popular so far. We have close to 800 entries in the database. You can even edit and remove your dates with a password.
