The STRANGEST thing you have ever seen in the parks.....

A few years ago we were on Great Movie Ride. There was a lady with a little girl in the same row as us. I'd guess the little girl was maybe 3-4. Halfway thru the ride my DH who is sitting right next to the lady notices the little girl has her shorts down and is peeing. The mother is helping by holding onto her. I couldn't believe it.

We were on HM with my dd when she was 3, and it breaks down-not once, but twice. I'm in the doom buggy in front with my ds, and dh is with dd behind us, and he calls up that dd has to pee. So we're waiting, and waiting, and waiting and he's doing everything he can to distract her-songs, silly voices, etc. We were stuck for at least 30 minutes-and there are CMs walking by and dh is telling them that dd has to go, can they let them off and he is told to stay in the doom buggy, and not to worry if she has an accident-it happens all he time. Dd made it-I picked her up and ran with her to the bathroom. Today it's a famil joke-" now I'll lift the bar-hey, what's this in the doom buggy?" Lol!

Great movie ride is long-45 minutes. I guess she couldn't make it!

On one extremely HOT day in AK, I was standing in front of the Safari. I looked up and saw an elderly gentleman escorting an elderly woman who was wearing--no kidding--a full-length fur coat. That wasn't the strangest thing though. She was carrying a bloody pillow!!! Never have figured that one out.

On my last trip, I was on the monorail leaving MK, and a little boy probably 4-5 proceeded to climb the metal pole and hang upside down on the bar. I was so afraid he was going to fall on his head. The parents just ignored him.

I feel really bad for people who say things like, "three is too old to breastfeed" or "I don't want my child seeing that" or "if they can ask for it they're too old".

It must be really unpleasant to go through life carrying that degree of animosity. Especially over something that's wonderful, not bad.

People like that always remind me to go out of my way to support and stick up for nursing moms. It's hard enough without dealing with bullies.

Almost forgot this one...

Two grown men in a fight in the stroller parking for Festival of the Lion King. They were in each others faces yelling and threatening as one of their wives was trying to pull her husband away.

One of the men was older and said he was going to get his son, who he said was the age of the younger man. He went storming red-faced out of stroller parking as I left for the show.

I don't know what the fight was about. The older man seemed to be the instigator and more aggressive. Thankfully, no children were there and the area is removed from where the general public could see.

Saw something similar heading into Fantasmic. Guy in his 40's vs one in his 30's. Younger guy had a toddler with him. Both were pushing it, but the guy wih the kid eventually just wanted it to end. The older guy was ready to duke it out.

Are you sure you weren't just seeing Cruella De Ville? :goodvibes

Anyone else keep checking this thread to see if they come up in any of the posts? LOL. I have this fear that i did something weird and someone caught me on camera. Except for the one picture of me in my ballerina dress and "MY PRECIOUS", so far so good.

:thumbsup2. True. My DD (5) is pretty strange at times.

I saw a woman squat and PEE on the bridge from future world to the world showcase in EPCOT!! It was late (near closing) and I'm pretty confident that she was drunk. If my sister in law hadn't been with me and seen it too, I would have sworn I was going crazy! :sad2:

I agree. I wouldn't do it because people are eating nearby, but I am the diaper ninja. I can change a diaper without any mess whatsoever and carry bags for sealed disposal. Hey, you pick up some skills with 4 babies in 5 years! I will change my kids in the stroller if I don't have changing table pads to decrease risk of infection from other kids.

High heels at WDW wouldn't surprise me if a woman was from Italy. My DH and I were shocked at how quickly Italian women navigated the streets of Rome in stilettos!

I also change my babies in the stroller.. My 1st DD got a horrible staff infection form a table in a store.. Ever since then have one of the expensive pads for the channing tables and have no problem pulling my stroller into a corner, to do my best to shield everyone from the "View" and carry little bags to wrap and throw it away..
That being said.. I would NEVER do it on a table!
There has been times when you get the bathroom and find the line is out the door, no room for the stroller, or most likely the table is FILTHY!

In September at WDW, there was a boy about 10ish or so in the row in front of us on Small World. He kept taking a jawbreaker out of his mouth and putting it in the water then back into his mouth. :scared1: I think I threw up a little in my mouth, actually I know I did! And knowing about the ashes, yuck!!!!!!!

Eeeeewwww..... I want to barf at the thought of it!

I mean when it's hot outside or even warm.

I still don't get it. I grew up in the southwest (Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California) and I have always worn jeans anytime it was not forbidden by school or work dress codes. Hot, cold, below freezing or over 100, and I see a lot of other people around me doing the same. My grandfather had one suit to wear to church, but other than that he wore jeans or denim overalls every day of his life. Who doesn't wear jeans in the summer? What am I supposed to be wearing?

We will live on forever!!! ;-)
I was told on rehabs they drain the water..and run new water in.. If that helps at all..( doesn't help me tho. Yuk!!)

Now I have heard of many people's ashes being dumped on toms island... I hopes to be stuck on peoples shoes and be scattered around the park that way..

The strangest thing that happened to me was at Epcot in front of the Japanese Pavilion. I was taking a few pictures of my kids in front of the water, and this mother and grandmother who appeared to be Asian and did not speak a lot of English put their kid with my kids. They wanted to take pictures of their child with my children and asked my kids to hold her hand. It was odd but seemed totally innocent. My middle child has an uncommon color of red hair, and I thought maybe that was what drew them over there.

:lmao:It more than likely was. As a fellow red head, I get that sort of reaction from people often, especially if they're from Japan. When I was a baby, my parents took me to Japan when I was 5 months old and had fairly thick red hair even then. Everywhere they went, people were asking to take photos with me, feed me, hold me :lmao: My mother freaked out at first but she was used to it after awhile. I hate to think how many strangers have photos of me when I was a baby.....
