Oops! Quoted incorrectly.
A child in a stroller screaming his head off in the areas in front of the castle. By himself.
After looking around a bit, I see a woman sitting on a bench a good distance away and I ask her if that is her child. It is. She's teaching him a lesson about not getting what he wants. Not ashamed to say I chewed her out and asked her if she'd lost her mind.
Nov 2010 on bus going to one of the parks form ASMU some woman drinking a beer right on the bus.
Though who would kidnap a screaming crabby child? I already have one of my own.![]()
What about in one of the lakes? Or the river around toms island.. They don't vacuum those

This was Christmas week this year, and not strange in a bad way, just strange in a refreshing way. We were waiting for the Backlot tour at HS, and there was a teen girl READING A BOOK. Can't remember what it was, I thought I discreetly snapped a picture, but I can't find it. And it wasn't a Twilight or other similar book. This was a real book--maybe it was for school or something, but she seemed into it, and totally unconcerned that others might think it was odd to be reading a book at WDW.
I thought it was a great use of time, and would have loved for my DD to have used her line waiting time more wisely!
Great Thread!!
My story was our last family trip in 2011. On the bus back to the resort, a boy (10 or 11??) struck up a conversation with our then 18 month old. He was showing my son a nasty sun burn he had obviously gotten during his trip that had blistered. He then proceeded to pick off a sheet of the skin and give it to my son! Why you may ask? He said it was for my son to play with!!!!
That's one souvenir I had no problem saying no to!!!
If it was right before Christmas. She always has a book with her. And no you do not want your child to be like that.
