The Side effects of the AP-Trip#6 Oct 10 Final thoughts and some TMI

Wow, that menu is huge.

I must have missed it -- when did Chris rejoin you? I was thinking you went separate ways. :confused3

Boy oh boy...you have me regretting canceling our ADR at Cape May Cafe after seeing the menu and pictures of the food. That looks so yummy!

Yay for Beach Club and Cape May! :cool1:
I'm trying to figure out a time in our very short October schedule to get over there for just a few minutes just to visit and take pictures. I don't want to use park time, since the trip is already so short, so I am seriously thinking of taking a taxi over there on our Epcot morning and then going into Epcot through the back before rope drop. I would love to go to breakfast at Cape May, but if we do that, we won't make rope drop, so I guess we would just eat at the Beach Club Marketplace. They have French toast sticks, and I know the girls would eat those. I'm thinking that's what we might do on our one and only Epcot day.

I love the flower arrangements in Disney World, too. They are really so beautiful!

After the parade and some walking around I start to head out. Where am I heading??

You're heading out. You just said so. :rotfl2:

While we wait to be called I look around the lobby. I simply love the fresh flowers.

Hidden Mickey

That's cool. I love Hidden Mickeys. Something for both of us. :thumbsup2

Is anyone hungry???

:wave2:

I am now!

Bellies full and a full night in front of us brings us where for the night?

I'm gonna guess EPCOT. (you're taking the boat)

ToT 3x???!!! That's craziness!!! Great pictures of the parade and all the little details in DHS!

I really need to give Cape May a second try. We ate there once last year. We had been dealing with a TV that you couldn't play dvds on because the remote didn't work with all the features, and a dryer that was so clogged up that it took 2 hours to dry anything. So maintenance had been in and out all night keeping us trapped in the room. When the front desk manager called to check to see if everything was working she also added $100 credit to our room for all of the hassles. We went over to thank her, and she asked if we had had supper yet. We hadn't so she checked with Cape May to see if we could get in. They were at the end of their regular service time but went ahead and seated us. I wasn't really hungry, I was frustrated with all the headaches from the "problems" in the room (or maybe the headache was from DH complaining about them :headache:). What I had was good, but that late at night, in that kind of a mood - it just wasn't working for me. I need to try it again when I have it planned and can look forward to it.

The menu is huge. That buffet has four sides to it. Each side was stocked full of goodies.

Chris and I would always meet up for our TS meal. In Most cases it was an early dinner and LeCellier was lunch.

I never did take a picture of his plate. :confused3 I am sure it was because as quick as he got it he was already eating it. :lmao:

Have no regrets!!! Just put it on the list for next time.

Getting close now. :goodvibes

That sounds like a good plan. Beach Club Marketplace also has a yummy parfait for breakfast.

It ia amazing how they keep all those arrangements looking so fresh every day.

Smarty ....... pants. :lmao:

That what makes WDW so special for me. It is infused everywhere and finding all the HM is like being part of a special club. :ssst:

I posted around dinner so hopefullt everyone would have to wait too long for a meal.

Nope. Guess again

So much fun!!!!!

I really got into looking for the little details. One of the fun things you can do when you are by yourself, or a girls only trip.

Sorry to hear about all the hassle but I am glad she tried to sprinkle some pixie dust on you. :wizard:

Give it another try. After our second meal at O'Hana I almost threw in the towel but a third try proved the second was a bad night.

If you were looking at the lighthouse picture before dinner..

Yup that one. It was about to rain. By the time dinner was over most of the heavy rain was done. I grabbed a towel that the Beach club has out to dry off as you come in and we headed out.

Chris and I both head over to DHS for EMH. Of course I ask Chris to get this picture. He gives me a strange look but does it anyway.

I still can’t understand why TSM FP are not opened back up for EMH. I get here and see this.

IMG_8158.jpg

We wander a bit since it is still drizzly. We go to Muppets.

IMG_8160.jpg

I am sure we go here too.

IMG_8164.jpg

This was cute.

IMG_8167.jpg

Finally over here.

IMG_8170.jpg

With TSM wait being this.

IMG_8171.jpg

We were tired. It was only 8:30 but we were up early for the tour. We head back to POFQ.

We see a carriage ride when we arrive.

Next up - The mother of year award goes to..... and an EPIC day of Dismeets.

BAAAHHHH, I can't see any of the pix this morning (sometimes they load, sometimes they don't) but I find it amusing that you actually went to bed early. Must have been due to the overwhelming grief over a too long of a line at TSM, I'm guessing- I suspect you might have made up for soem of that the next day? :confused3;)

If you want him to really give you a strange look, try having him take your picture at the fountain in Morocco. You know what I'm talkin' about. ;)

Aw, an early night?? Well, those touring days have a way of wearing you out and it'll be good to get rested up for those DIS-meets. It'd be bad form to fall asleep on ToT.

We went back early but we didn't go to bed we were just "done" with being at a park for the night. We were up early and needed to chillax.

I will drag to Morocco in Dec/Jan and make him "pose".
if I get him in a good mood he will think it is hysterical. If he is on a "teenage mood" he will just shake his head. :sad2:

I should of dragged him over to Yee Haw Bob that night. I really think we were just "done" with the parks that night and did everything we came to do and just wanted to get back and chillax.

We run pretty hard the next few days.
