I personally thought it was a very fun and unique parade too bad it's gone now And I totally agree on having to keep up that high energy as a performer when it's a million degrees outside, they must overload themselves with water or something, especially characters like Sully

I have not seen the new one but I heard it pales in comparison.

I can only hope Sully has ice packs in there otherwise that suit must be naaasty after the parade.

I either saw the coins on someone else's Tr or I read it in a book. they are real and old coins.
I have some of those Standing Liberty half dollars.

That parade was fun. Full of energy.

Monsters inc. characters are just fun. They must be so hot in all that fur.

Don't they have a cooling system of some kind inside? Seems like I read somewhere that they did. It doesn't seem like anyone could last very long in the heat and all that fur if they didn't.

Even monsters need an orthodontist.

If the Lights, motor, actions guys have a cooling suit then these guys have to. What gets me in the heat is the lack of air. If I have a breeze I am Ok, no breeze and I overheat.

Getting all caught up today! Wow, 3 times on ToT! I can't get on it for one little ride with Jeremy let alone 3!

The segway tour looks like fun! Tom really wants to do this one but wants to wait until Jeremy is able.......7 more years! I keep encouraging him to do it by himself but he won't. I do well to drive my car so not sure I would manage well on a segway!

Glad you got to see Block Party Bash. We saw it for the first and only time last summer and really enjoyed it.

Hope you faired well with the storm this weekend and you are doing well.

I liked the energy of the preformance. It is more than a parade, they really make it a party of sorts. I heard the new one pales in comparison.

I got the monsters part of the parade. When I heard it as going away I made point to see the other parts too.

Those Streetmosphere performers love their job and it shows. To be out there everyday, just hamming it up for the passerbys is great.

Cape May was awesome!!! I was able to fill up a teenaged boy.

He loves crab legs so he got his fill plus other items from the buffet.

Ahh....Cape May Cafe! YUM!!! We loved it there and DH has requested we make a stop there on every trip!
