QOTD: What is the latest you ever decided to go out for a run?
I'm not a late runner at all. I think maybe I did a later run on a hotel treadmill on Christmas vacation a couple of years ago, but that's probably it.
Speaking of soft drink, I have noticed people have a lot of different names for them. We have always just called any type of soft drink a coke. As in, what kind of coke do you want to drink? It is my observation, that southerners are very loyal coke drinkers as opposed to Pepsi.
I'm from Oklahoma. We usually say pop or Coke. I have lived in California most of my life and can still not call it soda.
Thanks to everyone for the positive thoughts. I ended up getting to talk to my boss late this afternoon, and he appreciated my honesty on what was taking place. He assured me that this was a valuable lesson learned and I do not to fear the loss of my job. In reality we could restock the pipe and fittings, but we would end up losing about half of the investment due to fees. The other option is to keep it in our laydown yard and wait for a job to come along and use it. I had a opportunity to try to place blame else where, but if I was doing work by the book, this would not have happened. I learned that just because I am told to hurry up and put in the order, the extra time required to CMA is much less than doing it in a hurry. It was a very long day, and I am still at the office catching up on lost time on my newest project. I am going to go for a run soon, but I am tired and not sure if I will get in the total 6 miles tonight... Again, thanks again for listening to my personal problems and the kind words.
I'm glad you talked to your boss hope you are feeling better about it. That's usually the best thing to do...Go ahead and bite the bullet and talk to them, because it's often not as bad as we think it's going to be.
