All first timers for WDW, DL in 2000
Day 2 - EE at MGM. Very cold for us Texans! I think MGM barely squeaked in as favorite park for DH and both DS. DH and both DS loved ToT, I cannot tell you how many times they rode it on our visits to MGM. I could not find the nerve to go on it and now I regret it. RnR was quite a hit as well, but DS was 1/2 inch too short, and we had to take turns. The park was not very crowded, lines were short, and quite a few characters were out. DS was really into the autograph book. His first autograph was from Max. (we did not do the autograph thing at DL which I regret). Cruella de Ville was quite a hit with him. She was quite insulting to him but he loved it! (he's usually really shy so this is quite a compliment to her). One part of the magic that came in was when he got Jessie's autograph. She must have heard me talking to him in line because when he looked at the signature she had personalized it with his name. He got quite a kick out of that. We found Snow White's witch strolling along the back of MGM and she was a hoot (I'm allowed to say that, I am a native Texan). We didn't stay for Fantasmic that night, as we had learned that Buzz at MK would be down from 02/09 to 02/15, and this would be our only night to ride it, and there were two Spectromagic shows that night, so around closing of MGM at 7:00 we headed to MK. Good choice. We all loved Buzz, but we got to ride it only once as we had to use FP and it was quite late. Spectromagic was incredible! We had four very tired and happy tourists here.
