The one that got away... When I was a lot younger, a girl called [Lady X] asked me out and tried to kiss me. I was a timid little thing and shied away, so nothing ever happened. Recently she has got back in contact, married now... WOW! She's a corker! I mean, a beautiful you lady. Can't help but wonder what MIGHT have happened if I had said yes...
More recently, I had a huge crush on this girl, [Lady Y], from Uni... we lost touch, during which time she found her hubby. But she told me she would have dated me had I been there. Thing is though. with my condition and hers (she has Cystic Fibrosis) I wouldn't have been able to care for her as she deserves, and she seems happy, so I guess the Universe worked it's way out
