Well last night's dinner plan didn't work out as it did end up raining, so tonight I am making pasta with sausages and tomato-cream sauce and garlic bread with a salad. I suppose I should get offline and go start cooking!

I have to work today so I'm going to have DH toss some cubed steaks on the girll and make some potatoes and baked beans.

Today for Sunday linner we had the cod pomodoro that I posted the recipe for earlier, plus an arugula salad and choice of onion foccacia or kalamata olive bread.

And the cod pomodoro was especially tasty today. DSis added a little extra shake of red pepper flakes so the dish had a kick to it. Or maybe it was the expert olive pitting and garlic chopping by her sous chef that did it

Tonight is pork tenderloin, sauteed mushrooms, broccoli and carrots with garlic and herbs, long grain and wild rice and fruit for dessert.

Tonite we are having spagetti and chicken with a green salad, and garlic bread.

Last night we had pork chops coated with a parmesan seasond potato crust. I served mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and a marinated tomato, cucumber and onion salad. So good!

Saturday was a treat. I went to the Lion King with about 15 family members, and then had a wonderful meal at City Steam in Hartford....pistascio, walnut crusted salmon with wok fired veggies and couscous.

Tonight I think I am making breakfast for dinner: gruyere and parsely omelets, maple sausage, a salad with some butter lettuce and carrots, and toast.

I have to warn you all that my menus are going to get progressively weirder over the next week--we're trying to clear out the fridge and freezer prior to our taking an extended vacation.

No, just spaghetti with my red sauce, and roasted chicken instead of meatballs and sausage. My DD hac been craving pasta, and I did not feel like making meatballs, so I cheated and bought a rotisserie chicken from Cosco this afternoon.


Have you ever had a chicken spaghetti, and if so, what is it? Maybe we can figure a recipe out.

I'm making grilled teriyaki skirt steak, peanut butter noodles, and steamed broccoli.

I've made chicken spaghetti before. All I do is brown some chicken thighs and then simmer them in sauce. We have that instead of meatballs sometimes.

Tonight's dinner is parmesan crusted chicken and asparagus, the kids want Krystal burgers. They're getting them only because they're microwaved!

Today, NC Beast bbq'ed some hot dogs and hamburgers for our suppers over the next couple of days. We heated up some black bean chili (frozen from last week's batch) as a side.
