The Official "What Is Up With Park Hours on Disney's Site" Thread

I still see the DIS as having contrary info to the Disney website for 1/31, 2/1, and 2/6.

The DIS gets their information from a Disney website for places like the DIS. It shows updated information for these dates..

The public Disney website is NOT functional and I wouldn't rely on it at all.

Even the Canadian one..

Personally their entire website ticks me off right now. The reservation part is pretty simple but trying to view anything about say, a resort, is impossible. Their site is downright terrible right now.

I wrote Meg Crofton.. and told her.. but I suspect she doesn't read those emails.. whatever. Someone read it.. and someone got back to me.

i have come to dislike the disney site. yes the new list of hours is a waste and i still cannot get on the passholders site. i now rely on other sites like this, allearsnet, etc for my info.

Curious about the Dis hours for Spectromagic on 2/21. Hope they are wrong.

On 2/21, the Dis hours are showing that the MK is open from 9 am to 9 pm, with Spectromagic at 7 pm and Wishes at 8 p.m. But TGM, Stitchkingdom, and Canadian Disney site are all showing 9 to 9 with an 8 p.m Spectro and 9 p.m Wishes. I sent an e-mail to the contact us link at the bottom of the page a few days ago, but haven't heard anything and the Dis hours haven't changed.

We are driving down on the 21st and plan to get settled in, then head over to MK just to see Spectro. I am hoping it is at 8 pm. and not 7 p.m as this will give us more time. Sure wish the "official" calendar would hurry up and get fixed so that I would know for sure.

The DIS calendars are updated from appropriate non-public sources on a daily basis..

At one time, the Disney site said that too but checking it today, the EMH for that day is gone now!

If I'm going to wait 1.5 hours for Fantasmic, I was looking forward to having a few extra hours after it!

Just sent my email. I also pointed out to them that if you have to make ADRs 90 days in advance, and the park hours aren't released until 90 days in advance, it makes planning pretty frustrating! Hope they're listening.

Oh, and I also sent a link to the DIS and told them to check it out.

At one time, the Disney site said that too but checking it today, the EMH for that day is gone now!

If I'm going to wait 1.5 hours for Fantasmic, I was looking forward to having a few extra hours after it!

I just checked my CM site and it states that on 2/9 DHS is open from 9-7 with EMH from 7-10

In mine I had quite a few complaints...

1. Park Calendars

2. ADR's (bring 180 back!)

3. AP rates for an entire week (not just weekdays)

4. Website in general (it's just BAD!)

I made it clear that if they did not make some changes soon then I would! I'd be finding a NEW place for my family to vacation! In times like these you'd think they'd want to bring people in, not run them off!

These have been corrected. The DIS should now agree with the rest.

This is totally confusing and stressing me out. I had our whole day planned at DHS on the 12th. If the park closes at 6 and we made adrs a few months back for 6:50 pm...how does this work???? I emailed my TA and I'm checking sites and none of them mesh. I'm having freakin' migraines over getting my agenda set. We leave in 2 weeks and 2 days and I cannot get a straight answer. HELP!!!!

if you have the ADR confirmation numbers or the name/number they were placed under, you can call disney dining directly and ask. you could probably even do so without that information
