Less than 24 hours for the season premiere!

For those of you who still haven't signed up for HBO yet, Time Warner gave me a "special" that for the next 3 months, I get all the premium channels (HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, The Movie Channel) for the price of one.

Instead of just asking to have HBO turned on, you might just ask what their prices are for various channels, then settle on HBO <sigh!> as the prices are too high for more than one. They might toss in some of the other channels for a limited time.

This will be my first season watching live as I just got into the show this past winter.

Well I guess since it's only in a preview it should be okay.

For a split second I swear I saw a hand coming out of the ground that could be Tara's. (It was one of the previews where there is a montage of scenes playing pretty quickly, so I could be wrong.)

Also, in one of the articles I read, they called it, "The season of Pam".

So is Tara really going to be dead? I know they show Sookie and Lafayette burying someone but I really don't think it is Tara because they seem so unemotional burying whatever it is they are burying.

DH tried that earlier this week and failed because we always end up getting the Time Warner people that are not very nice. Plus I'm annoyed the price went up AGAIN! $15 for one channel is insane. We usually keep it June-December for True Blood and Boardwalk Empire. I guess we'll see if we keep it this long that time.

Oh well! True Blood time tonight!

This one looks so good though! I can't wait to see Christopher Malone!

I wasn't exactly 'disappointed' but I felt like each episode was either amazing or stupid. I'm hoping that with the addition of some new characters it's better this season. To be honest, I kind of have the bar set really low right now...they better wow me tonight!

Excited for Christopher Malone and Peter Mensah....hopefully they can breathe some life into things.

We have a free HBO preview going on right now. So I will finally get to see the last show from last season and check out the first show tonight to see if we want to pay for HBO. It was worth it when we also had Entourage, but we don't watch any other HBO shows. Though I could see DH getting into Game of Thrones if we had it.

In the book, Eric did help Sookie bury Debbie, but the series is so far off the books.

I have the new EW and it features True Blood. Christoper Meloni plays the Vampire Authority. It had 11 covers featuring all the main characters, including Tara. But it didn't say anything about Tara for this season. You can check the covers out at EW.com. My favorite is Alcide.

I'm excited for Russell. He's one of the best characters IMO.

I knew that she and Eric buried Debbie in the book, but I didn't want to say too much. I know it says "spoilers" in the thread name, but I can't do it to people.

What we've traditionally done in the past on this thread when someone has a spoiler is to write a big warning of a spoiler ahead, so people who don't want to be spoiled don't have to read it. Then skip down several spaces, (as the eyes read faster than than the mind comprehends, and someone can get accidentally spoiled before they realize it. ) And most people usually change the spoiler text into white colored font as an added precaution.

They do the same for book spoilers. There are 7(?) books out, and much of it is very different than the show so people want to discuss them too.

People responding back also write in white font. It's kind of funny. We end up with a whole sub-culture of people writing back & forth to each other in whited out typing, which looks like empty spaces in their posts. But, it's kind of like the TV show, itself, which has the whole sub-culture of the undead & other types of creatures.

Previews have never been considered spoilers. Only teasers, especially if there is a semi-maked Eric in it. So post all links and pics of any of the semi-naked guys: Eric, Alcide, Bill. . .

I think there are 12 books out now. They are very different from the show, but I feel like the MAIN plots are very similar.

I change my profile pic on FB every year for the seven days leading up to the premiere and I had that picture of Eric last year. A girl I went to H.S. with asked if it was my DH! So HARD to tell the truth.
