I agree. That's why I refuse to buy them as a hardcover or $13 Nook version. I'm going to have to wait until the library has it available in actual book form or gets the ebook form.

Meh...the first episode was okay. They just have way too many plotlines going at the same time. Wish they would kill off a few characters.

Andy's storyline makes no sense unless the witch storyline reappears.
I wish they would bring the Amelia character in.

I think this season will be great as long as they stick with the werewolf and vampire plots. I don't mind a few little things going on outside of that as long as they aren't out of left field.(which they usually are )

Does anyone feel like Tara will be the Bubba of the show? Thy showed her to be a little feral looking. And in the books they and in the books they explained what happens when a vamp with brain damage is made

OK so I wasn't totally blown away by last night's episode but it wasn't TERRIBLE, either. To me, it felt more like an episode from somewhere in the middle of the season...not a Season Premiere

Someone asked earlier who Christopher Meloni plays...I don't know his name, but I know he works for The Authority.

I really really really hope they turn Jason...it was a great storyline in the books and although it would have to be different for the show, they could do so much with it. Especially now that Sam and Alcide are in deep with pack trouble...a panther on their side wouldn't hurt!

And yeah...IDK where they're going with Andy and Holly

It looks like Tara is going to be more animalistic than human in her turned state. Which is good IMO...the less talking she does, the better. I really like Rutina Wesley but the Tara character should have lost her vocal chords two seasons ago. If she goes this whole season just killing people without uttering a single word, I'll be happy.

Talk about adding insult to injury -- our power went out due to horrific thunderstorms through the Orlando area. Yeah, from just before 9 PM to right after 10 PM.

I already asked my True Blood partner-in-crime about what has been whited out in texts here (something I figured would happen). Can't wait to catch up tonight!

I have not read the books but I know sookie ends up with Eric in them. I think she will end up with Bill. He was running to her aid in the beginning, and Eric could care less. I hope she ends up with Bill. She is a good actor but her real life feelings for her husband come through with her portrayal of sookie.

NO! Not the werepanther story line again. That was so lame in the show, just having Jason tied up so he can be used to hump all the female werepanthers. I'm glad they killed that story line.

My thought on the episode is that they are setting up some alternate couples for the sex scenes. Sookie may not be doing many of those this years, since the actress is pregnant. She still looked thin last night, but was pretty covered up.

Definitely a huge departure from the books.
