"The Official 'True Blood' Vampire Thread" ...spoilers included.

All I know is that they didn't show nearly enough of my new boyfriend:

:lovestruc

WHOA! Ok I love Alcide in the books but I'm just a little lukewarm to him on the show but after seeing this pic.....WOWZA!

So much going on last night! Where to begin. LOVED Bill "training" Jessica. That was brilliant!

Eric = nekkid. There just aren't enough scenes with him sans clothing. We want more! I can't wait for Eric/Sookie. Team Eric all the way! Time for Bill to move on!

I guess I am the only one, but I like Bill. Running and hiding now.... ;)

The Calvin thing is throwing me for a loop. Definitely not at all like the Calvin in the books.

I'm in the Bill camp, too. :thumbsup2

Who's Calvin? Is that Crystal's father?

No, no, no, no, please, please, NO!!

Do not make Bill the noble martyr!! Aaaieeeeee!!!! Where is her head if she isn't questioning why Bill was investigating her and had a dossier on her, that's why he was on Bon Temps to begin with! I think after the hot "make up" sex, he'll get noble on us again and leave. I want her to kick him to the curb.

You did see the previews for next week? He tells her next week he knows what she is. He'll probably tell her he did it on Sophie Ann's orders.

No on answered this when I asked a couple weeks ago. I am asking again in case anyone knows:

Can a Maker feel what his child feels? (The way Bill & Eric can feel Sookie? Or is that just a drinking of blood thing with humans?) Russell knew Talbot was dying. So did Eric possibly feel when Pam was being tortured, or would he just feel if she got killed?

Yes the maker can feel it. All of it.

I am very disappointed with Calvin.
He is being portrayed NOTHING like the books. He was one of my favorite characters in the books. So noble.:)
Thanks Alan Ball.

Thanks. I wondered why Bill didn't run to help Jessica, (after Russel left,) as he knew she ha run off & the were was chasing her.

He was too worried about Sookie I imagine

Overall, a GREAT episode..

- As much as I enjoyed a naked Eric, I could have done without a naken Talbot...

- Sookie, get over Bill already...he is wrong for you..

- Alcide...YUMMY..

- Jessica, AWESOME! She is going to be a NASTY little vamp..

Agree with all points!

No, this was afterwards. He knew Sookie was safe, and they were about to embrace. I thought, "Hello? Jessica's still out there being chased by a were!?!" (And we hadn't seen her feeding off of him yet.)

I'll miss Calvin. He was good for a laugh. Loved Eric though! Oh, and we got a little tease with Franklin. I was hoping they would bring him back though. He had grown to be my favorite character.

I so wanted Sookie to dump Bill for good. Why did they have to make her such a door mat?

She held her own- and I think Bill knew she would be OK. Weres aren't much of a threat to vamps in the True Blood world, after all. If he had felt her in real danger, I would hope he would go to her (but maybe not, since he is so all about his "Suhkeh!!")

Sunday's episode was pretty darn good. I do agree with the majority of you that Norris is a much better character in the book.

I'm all for Team Eric, but after yesterday's episode I'm starting to lean towards Bill again. Trueblood's Bill is written much more compassionate and giving than the Bill in the book series. In the book I always found him cold and closed off. He never really expressed his feelings that way TV Bill does. Just my 2 cents. :-)

I have a question that I've been wanting to ask since Season 2 when Eric got a make-over with his hair...his hair in Season 1 and first part of Season 2 was longer, but Pam cut it and slicked it back. It stayed cut. The show has de-mythed a lot of vampire myths (garlic, mirrors, holy water) but the one thing that has stayed true to myth is however they were when turned, is how they'd stay. Jessica's virginity "reinstates" itself (for lack of a better way to put it) but Eric's hair stayed short. How is that? Plus it's a lot darker than it's usually been. I thought initially it was just a wet-but is actually darker.
Not anything big to have answered, but little things I've noticed :-)

Oh and I hope they do more with Pam-I like her interactions with Sookie in the book.

Now I realize twilight's rules are different than true blood, but in Twilight a vampire can cut their hair but it will never grow back. But more or less I'm going to say Alan Ball is using creative licensing to do whatever he wants with Eric's Hair.

Im Team Eric because though TV bill is compassionate and such Book Eric is way more yummier than bill on tv ever will be.

Im sick of Door Mat Sookie, she isn't in the book she kicks off Quinn and Bill after they've wronged her, so why keep her as a sensitive porcelain doll door mat on the show? Oh well.

I loved she got to interact with Hadley, and I think they are developing the Eric loves sookie plot .

I think Pam just keeps cutting and either lightening or darkening his hair. That's probably why they had that scene where she put foils in his hair. Maybe in True Blood, it takes a couple days for hair to grow back. ;)

For you book readers..........

what did you think of the choice for Holly ( at the end Arlene was interviewing her)?

I pictured her young, like 20 something, and if I recall she only had one little boy in the books right?

I hope bringing in Holly means Amelia ( was that her name, the one from NO) is not far behind.

I read these books so long ago, and they seem to be meshing different books into this season, it sometimes gets confusing!

I thought that Holly was supposed to be young and beautiful, too. This Holly didn't fit that criteria especially since she's canoodling with Jason in the latest books. Yes, she also had a young child in the books. Maybe Holly is going to "blossom" as the series continues.

I hope it means that Amelia will be introduced to the series. I can't wait to see her interaction with Bob. :rotfl2:
