Yes, as much as I loved the blue sweater (and the striped button down wasn't bad either), this was much nicer

I just said the exact same thing to my BF about Calvin! I liked his character in the books...I don't like his character on the show at all.

I agree about Sookie & Bill. Just give it up already!

I never pictured Claudine as black but I did picture her differently than the actress playing her. And the whole Calvin hotshot thing is bugging me. So different from the book and I don't like it. I liked Calvin in the books.
Also I really thought the Debbie sookie thing would go the way it did in the book, especially since sookie had that big rifle.

I never pictured Claudine as black but I did picture her differently than the actress playing her.

I always thought of her as a really tall, Amazonian Kim Kardasian-type. Very tall, statuesque, and beautiful, but in a sexy way, not ethereal. Same with Claude- though of him as a Fabio-type beefcake-y guy with raven hair and beautiful, masculine features.

I guess Jessica found new food instead of humans. I'm glad Bill didn't toss her out on her ear, but taught her instead.

Bill & Sookie remind me of a typical dysfunctional relationship - breaking up & getting back together with your vampire.

Bill apparently likes rough sex considering what we just saw & how he also did it with Lorena a few weeks ago, twisting her head around.

He was bleeding from the ears because he was up during the day instead of in his daytime rest. They showed this last season as well with Bill and Lorena. On the show when vampires don't go to sleep at dawn, blood starts to come out of every orifice (ears, nose, eyes, etc).

It bothers me, too. He's always being described in the book as a solid, respectable guy.

Wasn't that in Book 4? That's why Eric didn't remember what happened.

I do have to say that the actress who portrays Debbie Pelt does a great job and is exactly like what I've pictured from the book.

Seriously...he hasnt gotten any "sleep" then...cause in some scenes he was bleeding and others was not..oh well just curious..I noticed it the week prior when he was baiting Sophie Ann in the birdcage, they both were bleeding then..

I think I overloaded my mind with vampires and were's...I watched both True Blood and Eclipse yesterday...lets just say I had some......interesting....dreams...LOL...

My poor DH about lost his mind on the Talbot/Eric scenes last night...he kept asking if Eric was gay..LOL..but he feels they redeemed themselves by ending with the Bill/Sookie scene..LOL...but he said this episode had to much man behind...

I think they also get the bleeds when they aren't getting enough sleep. Like if his is resting for only a few hours a day...going to sleep after dawn and waking up before sunset. Remember when Bill first went to the mansion, Talbot told Russel to get to bed and get some sleep because he'd already had the bleeds that week (2 or 3 times, I don't remember).

Do not make Bill the noble martyr!! Aaaieeeeee!!!! Where is her head if she isn't questioning why Bill was investigating her and had a dossier on her, that's why he was on Bon Temps to begin with! I think after the hot "make up" sex, he'll get noble on us again and leave. I want her to kick him to the curb.

I enjoyed Bill teaching Jessica, though -- great filmwork.

Erik -- I saw that one coming. Still, I didn't mind looking at it. ;-) But I'll miss Talbot. I wonder what Erik has planned, because no way he can defeat Russell on his own?

I predicted after Tara "killed" Franklin that she'll eventually fall in love with him. We'll see.

I'm okay with the "Micklin family" storyline. Tommy's a little hot head and going to be trouble for Sam (and I wouldn't be surprised he's playing Sam).

I was expecting Debbie Pelt to get it last night. Oh, well ...

I'm in the club of "Depiction of Norris Ain't Right!"

All in all, I wasn't as happy with this week as the weeks past, but it's better than most other series!
