Word of caution. When we checked in 4 weeks ago, we got a room that was partially refurbed. It had the new bed and dresser and flooring, but it still had the old coffee table and sofa bed. We asked to be moved, which they did immediately. It was room 1131.

Interesting. There's a thread which says the rooms which end in 123 do not have Murphy beds, but obviously that's not what your room was.

I booked a 1 BR standard (resort) view at BWV thinking they had the Murphy/sofa combos, but DVC's room description says this is a sofa bed. I contacted MS who said, "Yes. Some rooms have the sofa bed. You can request, but not guaranteed....."

I have researched and not seen a renovated 1BR with a sofa bed reviewed. And PlanDisney says they were replacing the sofa beds with Murphy beds.

This sofa bed is definitely a no-go for our group.

So, which is it? A Murphy/sofa combo or a pull out sofa bed? Or either?

We always stay in a 1 br and dont need the extra bed. We would prefer a sofa bed as it is a much better couch. I get why people who need the sleep space prefer the Murphy, so dont get me wrong. We use it as a sofa and would like a more comfy sofa. There is also no end tables so if you are watching something on TV, there is no good place to sit a drink.
