You know, Evan Rachel Wood looks a bit older than I pictured Sophie Anne. Didn't the books refer to her as "the world's most dangerous teenager?"

Yes. I expected younger, but mature looking. She's also supposed to be very petite and fashionable, but would look more appropriate dressed in Abercrombie and hanging at the mall.

WriteDisney - I think your spoiler is correct. There's been so much foreshadowing to it. Alan Ball does seem to be bringing stuff from the later book in much earlier.

While I love Eric as a fun fling for Sookie, I still think Bill or Sam would be better for her as a relationship. Though she can't go wrong with any of her choices in the book, except Quinn and his crazy tiger mama.

I finally watched this week's so now I can stop avoiding this thread.
Jason was so freaking cute & funny this week. The whole thing with Andy, Sam, the gasmask & the tree branch "horns" had me rolling.

Well hey there! Since there are several of us Baton Rougeans on this thread maybe next time TB films in our area we can go stalk, er, watch (!) some of the tapings. I may need someone to hold me back from jumping on Eric!

I'm pretty excited to see ERW as Queen Sophie! I can hardly contain myself during the week. Sunday nights are precious to me now!

I just got ERW's movie Pretty Persuasion in the mail today from Blockbuster- that is one that I did not see yet!

Yup! It's the one and ony Phil!!!!

Going to see down in 2 weeks!!!!! Gotta get as close to the stage as possible so that I can get up close and personal with Phil!!!!

When they were filming last month I was so tempted to go (it was in Denham Springs), but nobody too important was there I don't think, so I didn't bother. Supposedly Alexander is up in Shreveport filming a movie right now. I'm thinking I need to spend a weekend stalking, I mean exploring Shreveport soon.

Um, I'm so jealous you are seeing Down. I'm such a huge fan of anything Phil does. Pantera is my all-time favorite band ever. Every time I go to New Orleans I hope to have a Phil encounter since he's from there. I don't even know what I'd do with myself if I ever did see him though.

I totally agree. Personally, I enjoy the books far more than the series...there's so much detail and good stuff in them that they've just left out of the show.

I'm glad I started watching the series before I read the books, because I didn't have a picture of Bill, Eric, Sookie, Sam, etc., in my head.

Now, I have a picture in my head of what Alcide should look like ... and it's Christian Kane ... so I know I'm going to be disappointed with whomever they choose.

Also, I see Eric Roberts as Calvin. I think those are the only two I have actors picked for already!

Disney resorts do not have the premium channels (HBO, Showtime). I'd try the online route someone else mentioned, or just wait until you get home. If you really feel the need to see it then, check into getting a slingbox. You can run your home TV via your laptop over the internet.
