I missed it. Does anyone know when it shows up on On Demand?

I watched it on demand about 45 min after it ended.

I really hated tonight's episode, it was truly annoying. Again, more of the same and nothing happened. I'm so over that MaryAnn storyline. The whole Tara thing was stupid and annoying, talk about ungrateful! I hated the Jessica and Hoyt scene - poor vamp girl.

I agree with this, I am so over the mary ann story.

Watching the previews for the finale, I wonder if they are going to make it a cliff hanger.

Last season they did a hasty, happily ever after wrap up in the season finale. I suspect it was because they weren't sure if the show was going to be picked up. But, they must know the show is a hit and will be picked up for next season. So, they can have a cliff hanger this season if they want.

So why can Eric fly while others can't?

Some vamps have their own "talent." The queen can communicate telepathically with her "children" and eric can fly.

I actually liked the queen. She's spicy! She was like a manipulative teenager making Bill stay around and withholding info about the maenad. I have a feeling we're going to move in the direction of the books in relation to Sookie's ties with Bill and Eric. Having cousin Hadley show up leads me to believe that things will be much different in Season 3.

I agree with a PP that we will have a cliffhanger. I do think the MaryAnn thing will be wrapped up though, but something big will be left to the unknown. It is confirmed that there will be a season 3.

Me too! The only enjoyable part of last night's episode was seeing Eric and Pam.

I agree with everyone about the Maryanne storyline but I think we knew it was going to go through to the end. Hopefully the last episode will be the end of her! Or at least, the season opener will conclude it.

Unless I missed it, I did notice that the Queen never introduced or explained who Hadley was to Bill. But before he left she asked about Sookie and it was as if he already knew she was Sookie's cousin. So could there be some truth that Bill was purposly sent to connect with Sookie? Just curious what other's thoughts are on this.

And when Bill was leaving and Eric was coming, it was interesting that he "threatened" Eric with telling the Queen that "he had human's selling V." And I may have missed this too, but obviously that's a big no no in the vamp world? Could that possibly explain the scene where Tara's mother turns into Eric and maybe he's seriously thinking of getting rid of Lafayette so he doesn't have the V selling on his back? Then Bill would have nothing to hold over his head and he would have and open opportunity with Sookie?

And another thing (sorry), I did not post after last weeks episode but was reminded of it during the recap before the show. When they show Sookie pushing Maryanne's face away and Sookie has this white light come out of her hands onto Maryanne. Does Sookie have some other power that will be coming out during the finale? Again, just curious!

I thought Hadley told Bill she was Sookie's cousin and then she asked how Gran was (said she hadn't called her because she owed her money.) Although I do hope it comes out that Bill was purposely sent to meet Sookie.

In the books, Sookie has something in her genetic make up that makes her different from humans and attractive to vampires. It seems to me that they're just bringing this in sooner in the show than they did in the books.

Who knew the Queen of Louisiana loved Yahtzee? I did enjoy that little addition even though she's nothing like what I imagined Sophie Anne to be.

In the books, Sookie is part Fairy. Fairies are powerful supernatural beings that tend to be "good"- they help humans. They are also irresistable to vampires- something about their scent- which may be one of the reasons Sookie seems to attract so many vamps. Maybe her Fairy blood is able to repel the evil of Maryanne.

What a "day room" the queen has! I wouldn't mind something like that in my house.

I thought Eric would have agreed to help Sam more readily, but I guess the whole anti-shapeshifter feelings of a vampire needed to be expressed first.

I didn't get that Eric wants Lafayette gone when Tara's mother changed into him. I thought that was flashbacks to when Eric was threatening to kill Lafayette. Eric looked cute in that floral blouse, though. Maybe we'll get to see him in pink spandex in one of these seasons.

Oh and those who said Tara needed a plan are right. Sookie also needed a plan. But, how come when Sookie was going into danger neither Bill nor Eric could feel that? Was it because she wasn't in serious danger at that point?

I liked Sam with Arlene's kids.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned THE EGG. WTH?????? Maybe when Tara was going on about having to go "get Eggs" maybe she meant real eggs ...?? I'm hoping it was just Tara & Eggs' hallucination and not something that Sookie could see for real. I did enjoy Sookie venturing into Gran's House that's turned to a nightmare. That was just plain creepy .....

And the Queen making Bill stay to play Yahtzee was genius ... petulant little girl.

However, this show really was a let down considering how good the Godric-meeting-the-sun was. Last week's show was better than this week's.

And I guess once Jason and the deputy have seen what they've seen, Sam being able to turn into animals ain't no thang ....

And, ahhh .... Lafayette!!! Why'd you have to fall prey?????

I'm looking forward to the finale (sure to be a cliffhanger) so we can get rid of MaryAnne and her meat tree ... but will be sorry to see this season end.

Yes- that was her- it was hard to tell it was ERW!!!! I had to really concentrate on the character to try and see ERW behind it all! But I did like her.

OMG!!! Nobody mentioned Eric and Pam's banter about the children! It was HILARIOUS!!!!

Two weeks: Sept 13(?). They are taking the Labor Day weekend off.

That's fine with me. I had two cable series already have their Season Finales before the summer is even over. It feels odd. I like my shows to end after Labor Day as we head into Fall mode.

Yup- I had Nurse Jackie end, tonight is Weeds' season finale. Geez and Hung's season finale is also on Sept 13th (felt like that show just started)

I do not mind too much b/c my shows seem to stagger.

Now I have Dexter , Sons of Anarchy, Greys Anatomy, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (Not sure about Big Love?) just to name a few to look forward to- the shows will help ease the pain of my True Blood withdrawl
