UGH dont say the Eric Sookie chemistry is gone! In the preview for next week , it looked like Bill was going to feed Sookie after she was shot. Very hard to say who it was.

Also I have been all Team Eric, especially since I read the books, but whatever they did to Bill last night made him look great.......

IDK I think I might like Eric as the rough n tough vamp instead of him now.

I'm going to chime in with a big WTH? Where did the freaking snow come from in the shower? And a bed in the forest? Really? Is Alan Ball dropping acid when he is coming up with these things? And sorry, but I'm over the whole innocent Eric line too. With the doe eyes and the way he talks he is coming across to me as too child-like and a little dim.

I'm probably in the minority but this season seems to be just all over the place. There are way too many story lines going on with LaFayette and Jesus, baby Mikey, Tommy, the Werewolves, Witches, etc. Last night I honestly found myself looking at the clock again to see if the show was almost over. There are way too many characters in this show now, and he needs to start trimming some of these story lines. He can start by killing Tara. I'm so tired of her I want to change the channel every time I see her.

I was SOOOO excited at first! Then when the whole forest scene started I was practically YELLING at the TV. I'm like, "WTH is THIS??? SERIOUSY?! THIS NOT WHAT IS SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN!!!" My husband was looking at me like a like crazy. He's all like, "What's the problem? You saw Eric's booty(my word not his) and I saw Sookies bubbies(AGAIN...MY word not his)."

He just doesn't get it.

This is why I prefer Eric and Pam over Bill. I can't stand the sad...TORMENTED vampires anymore. Old Eric and Pam LIKE being vampires. You see a bit of their sadness occasionally, but it doesn't consume them.

Agree with alllllllll of this. I even said to DH last night, "I'm so over this season." He was shocked because he thought I would be happy with all the naked Eric. And I was like, "well yes I do love the naked ASkars, but the show is extra weird not and it sucks."

I will say the guy who plays Layfayette is an awesome actor.

I have to say too that the chemistry is a little off between Eric and Sookie. I like Tara tho unlike others, like her character, but like the old version of Tara, the tough but smart side kick version they had in the first episodes of her. But I have to say when the old Eric comes back, it's going to be really cool!

What the F is going on with this show???? I have to say that im not loving it..although i will NOT miss an episode..lol. It's crazy and jumps all over the place and sometimes makes absolutely no sense at all.
Ok when i saw Sooks and Askars in the shower i said (probably too loud) "finally this is what i have been waiting for"!!! Then it was freaking snowing and they were in a bed in a forest.....and they never explained why!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love Jess, she is a great character and so darn pretty!
Lafayette and weird ghost lady??? Not sure about that.
Kill that damn witch already..after they break the spells on Pam (love her!) and Eric..i need my strong, arrogant, viking warrior back! Oh and Tara is just plain annoying!

I'm disappointed how Sookie/Eric is working out. The chemistry is just gone.

Yes, someone else mentioned that a couple weeks ago, that Anna Paquin is not able to make the chemistry happen the way it naturally did with Bill/Stephen.

I notice, that instead of a lot of closeups during the lovemaking, as the did with Bill & Sookie, there are much more far away shots, like in the forest - twice now, as if to cover for the lack of chemistry.


With Bill, it was up close & personal. The steam used to sizzle off my TV screen. With Eric, we have to be satisfied with his bum shots. He also looks like he's hesitant to touch her in certain places.

Also I have been all Team Eric, especially since I read the books, but whatever they did to Bill last night made him look great.......

I have always been Team Bill. He was the one that glamoured me into watching this show in the first place.

I've been reading on this thread for 4 season about this incredible shower scene. So NOT what I expected.

There was a scene with Bill & Sookie in the bathtub, in the first or second season, that was really hot.

I too was disappointed in the shower scene. It was reminiscent of the scenes when Jason and whichever girl he was with were on V....and their minds would wander into the unrealistic...this is how they portrayed this scene with Eric and Sookie. I am guessing this is to show how potent both of their blood is. I would have liked something a little more "lusty" and less silly.

The one character I cannot stand is Andy. Each episode he gets worse....his character is ridiculous with the V problem. Just fix him already and get him is significant other...like in the books and move on.

The best thing about this weeks episode...... naked Eric! Nothing like a naked Alexander Skarsgard to get a girls heart racing. I thank God every time I see him without clothes on The bed scene did not make any sense. Stupid but again naked Eric.

My DH thinks Sookie is the hottest thing EVER, so he is a huge fan. He was all about the shower scene and then it snowed. LMAO... he and I giggled the whole way through at how silly it was. I think her hotness points dropped quite a bit. I can't get on board with this Eric.. I need him to be a bad boy , or typical chick, I lose interest .

Andy makes me want to slap him, Im over his V issues.

yes that's true - but Sookie's telepathy was an actual gift from her ancestor. Jason didn't get any gifts...the attraction is just because of the blood and was not "gifted" to him.

Nope...it (telepathy) was a gift from Mr Cataliades...not her anscestor. He was kind of a godfather figure....

Is it bad I am more intrigued by the Lafayette plot line than the whole mess of vamps and witches? There is just something totally eerie and off setting about it.

Also, last night my heart simply broke for Jessica. Who in their right mind would have expected that of Hoyt? OMG!

I too am over the doe-eyed Eric. When they showed him last season in the flash back to when he was human he still had a bad boy edge about him, moreso than this incarnation. I think the chemistry between Sookie and Eric really won't work without friction (not that kind of FRICTION!), but conflict, etc. Sometimes the more someone infuriates you the hotter they seem. This whole running in a forrest of snow crap is hokey. I know it's to symbolize their love as some how "pure", but give me a break. I think the scenes with Moyer were hella-hot. But, since she ended up marrying Vampire Bill off screen that may have something to do with it all.

I just wish they would resolve this coven problem and quit dragging it out.

Agreed. One minute they're in the shower, next they're in Narnia somewhere.

I really wish Pam had ripped Tara to shreds - she is sooo annoying!
