I just saw Taylor on the Today Show. He sounded tired. Poor guy!

I also saw him on the Early Morning Show. I thought he sounded better here.

Katharine is now singing on the Today Show. Whatever happened to her song, My Destiny? Oh, wait. This is a Taylor Hicks thread. Sorry.

I recorded the Today Show, but couldn't do The Early Show. CRAP. I hope they have it online so I can see.

When's Ellen? I thought it was today, but my TV says tomorrow.

I love my new Dual Tuner TiVo and Taylor Hicks wish list, it recorded both shows for me without me thinking about it

Not to get off the topic of Taylor....but, is that where you have 1 box for 2 TVs? Once I bust into this century and get DSL, I'm upgrading my Dish equipment and that's one of the options.

It's 1 box for one TV.
I don't think it works for Satelite though. They may have a DVR already for DISH That can split the signal though so you can record two channels at one. And I don't think you need DSL for it, you can probably get it now.

Hey, one thing at a time. I need to get over one new technology before I try and take on another.

Dish Network has 2 different options....one is two boxes (one for each TV) and then the other says it's one box for both TVs. I didn't know where to point the remote in the room without the box. I'm going to have DH call and see how it all works because it's time to get rid of the VCR. Pretty soon, I'll be living in the same century as everyone else.

I actually had my whole household in an upset trying to get so I could tape both shows .... it shouldn't be this difficult. I have cable digital boxes but they screw up the use of VCR's i think because they want us to rent the more expensives ones that record .... maybe like a tivo....I think ... what is a tivo ANyway... I'm getting one now... this isn't happening again.

I actually work at home... home daycare... I have kids arriving all thru the 7 to 8:30 hours ... in the meantime I was flipping back & forth between Today Show & Early show whenever I could... for one thing I had every TV in the house on so I could go about my business and still catch it.... Anyway I saw Taylor interview on Early and then I saw him interview on Today and then he sang On Early and then he sang on Today so he must have been running around back & forth. I was trying to catch it all ... yea I know I did have VCR's running BUT WHAT IF THEY FAILED... so I was trying to catch it all... interrupted many times with a child arriving or having to change a poop ... imagine the nerve of a child pooping while I'm trying to catch Taylor LIVE!

NOw one thing that annoyed me was Taylor had to sing his single and Kat got to sing Rainbow Not fair I say....but then they say Taylor would sing again.... but it ended before he did I suppose I could have missed it ..... I was busy and flipping channels.....and I haven't checked my tapes yet. But I would love to hear him sing something else live
I do have to admit though, his song is growing on me... I have found myself to be humming it all morning
The interviews were great. He is just so humble and gounded and real!!! He's perfect!!
