I'm watching LIVE with Regis & Kelly...
Taylor's voice was a little strained today. Must be the week of non-stop TV performances. Loved the interview after he sang.

Really sux to be sitting here at work, having totally forgotten about taping R & K. I can't imagine how tired that boy must be. He's doing the New York circuit this week. Hope he gets a chance to take it easy.

I'm still on a high from last week, but I know this is just the beginning for him. Looking forward to many many years of TH music and tours. I know he's going to be one of those prolific, hard-working, accessible musicians that go down in the history books. Think Billy Joel, Elton John, etc. I always saw that in him - that he wasn't in this for money and fame, but to have the resources to just make music. Participating in the Idol thread here on the Dis, I heard so many people wondering whether he had a place on the radio, whether he would be able to compete. Many of us knew better and kept on saying "listen - just listen to him!"

Finding him on Arista's website, listed among all the artists - Luther Vandross, Santana, Barry Manilow, Whitney Houston...it brought tears to my eyes....AGAIN! I'm still so proud!

I swear I heard him mention that numerous times - even before he won. In fact, I remember him saying once that he got the term "Soul Patrol" from a suggestion on one of the boards. I've heard of him mentioning the AI boards, Gray Charles, and theofficialsoulpatrol.com. He's definitely "out there" lurking, if nothing else. I would!

Wonder if he's a Disney fan? Hey Taylor - you there?
