They still sell it. It's around $300 before discounts and they ship it directly to you.

New Poly owner here! We recently came back from our trip to WDW and had to add on points when we toured the tower (GF is our other home resort but I think Poly is going to be where our heart is).

I know it’s only been a few months since the tower opening, but does anyone have a sense for 2BR standard view availability at the 10 month mark? I worry about the limited inventory.

Checking in here - Poly was our first DVC, bought when new owners were allowed to the Island Tower! Haven't gotten to stay as members yet, but will be there in November!

Aloha! Longhouse fan here but I've never stayed in Pago Pago. Was considering that if I could have a studio on resort/garden side... Anyone know if that is "preferred" now?

They didn’t change point charts so the following should be correct…
Lake view Moorea is now Preferred view.
All other longhouse DVC rooms were standard view which is now called resort view.

There is some discussion that this may not be true in the future. Some Island Tower rooms were clearly classified too high. Only way to fix this is to reclassify some rooms (likely requiring new point charts). BLT is an example where they did this. Hi! I booked a standard view studio for a couple nights in August. I'm thrilled to finally be staying at Poly. I thought I read somewhere that fireworks can be seen from the pool, is that accurate? Do they pipe the music in like I've heard they do on the beach?

Standard view has become Resort view for all Disney resorts, D.V.C. as well as cash.

Tokelau has never has Lake view rooms, only Standard, now Resort. From the balconies of some of the rooms on the far lake end of Tokelau, you can see MK, but those rooms are still Resort category.

Moorea has Lake view rooms, only on the side of the building that faces the lake.

Yes, all rooms have the pull-down murphy beds.

Very excited to be staying at the tower (2br lockoff) for the first time this summer! I am on the waitlist to downgrade in size to a 1br as we just won't need that much room after all. We will save about 100 points if the downgrade goes through but my hopes are low. Worst case is we have a giant room, right?!

First owners’ trip ever in early May. Checked into Poly Mothers Day weekend. Wow! Great Ceremonial House was busier than I had ever seen it. I had a Kroger delivery sitting in the hotel refrigerator and it was next to impossible to get it. Complete disorganization. Probably took me 45 minutes. Seemed like there was zero leadership and a bunch of young cast members running around with no direction. Felt bad for them. Was not a great experience, but maybe just bad timing. Some things are simple too. They don’t have enough luggage carts (seems like a good investment with the IT coming online).

It does seem like Disney is cutting back. Cast members, cast member training, merchandise. Merchandise seems quite light vs our last trip in November. I’ve gone into 2 parks so far and both mornings the cast members were chatting with each other and didn’t even look at us. I miss the good old days and hope Disney doesn’t forget the importance of cast members to a magical experience. Have talked to many really nice cast members too. But my interactions have been more and more mixed over the years. I know it’s harder to hire people these days….

I noticed a drop in some cast member service as well at vgc this weekend it really is a mixed bag. Bell services, room service, and pool attendants were great.

DVC, store and hall cart need training. The cast member in the store was freaking out because someone in the store stole something (bubbles and wand) and it was very unprofessional. I asked the cast member at the cart what time they close and she pointed to the sign and told me "it says right there" Asked someone else in the hall cart if they give DVC or chase visa discount and she said "I don't know" DVC cast member didn't even bother interacting with us. I'm glad they sent me a survey as I brought up all if this.
