FF- Happy Birthday!

I will be joining the 3-5 club in April.

Hope you enjoyed your donuts!
GLT- I love your new tag- made me smile.

I know how humbling it is to receive gifts like the food basket- but that is what friends and communities are for- to support those going through hard times. And then when you are back on your feet, you can pay it forward so to speak.
Ice- I missed the drama thread, but ey-yi-yi on the birth mom not bringing even $5 to grab a snack at the airport and no pull ups? WTH? Thank goodness Tess is coming to live with you gals.
Joats- ew on the bugs in your tree!

I bet you will be taking it down the morning of the 26th, right? I usually do too, just cause I'm sick of it, but so far so good- I'm not tired of the tree yet. Probably because we got it freshly cut and no needles are dropping off and making a mess.
We still haven't taken Molly to see a good Santa yet...I'm not sure we will at this point! Josh asked the faux Santa at Costco last week for some action figures, but Molly just kind of laughed at him and kept walking. Didn't want to give him the time of day.
Kim- I'm sure the doggy will adjust well into your home- you seem really prepared and it will be great.
SL- glad fake Christmas Eve went well and that your pie was a hit! Love valet parking at the mall! Sometimes our malls do that. DH and I hit the fancy mall last night on the way to his Christmas party ( we were early). Love going to the mall at Christmas, esp in the evening, but when I don't really have to fight the crowds. We just browsed in Williams Sonoma, P. Barn, Baby Gap, and I walked by Gymbo on the off chance they put their stuff out early. No dice. I am not a fan of the bright orange/purple/pink line that's out right now so I
didn't even go in. How bout them apples.
BNB- I *think * I am done with Christmas chores too. I might do another batch of gingerbread and sugar cookies this week, but the cards are out, the gifts are bought and wrapped, decor is up. I need to go food shopping later this week, as Christmas dinner is at our house this year. I'm buying a beef roast so I'm scouring the ads this morning to try and find the best deal. I'm thinking roast, baked potatoes with all the fixings, caesar salad, steamed green beans with almonds, crusty sourdough bread and then some sort of chocolate lava cake for dessert, with peppermint stick ice cream. Who wants to come over!?
Z- I'm so sorry you are dealing with all this right now. Like the other ladies have said, is it feasible to hire a nurse?

You are in my thoughts.
Bella- How is Bailey today?
Val- what are butter shots? Gymbo will be hard to resist this time, won't it?
Oops- I gotta go- I will catch up more later.
