GLT- Yeah, he has every right to treat you like crap now, cause you were the unfaithful one....jerk. Like Jill said, document. He thinks he can do whatever he wants to you even though he was the butt the last few years? :furious:

Cabsmom- Dean is beautiful! Love those eyes! We're getting excited for Christmas too. I put some gifts under the tree today....Molly has tried to open two. I just like how festive gifts look under the tree- otherwise it looks lonely. There's still more in the basement to be brought up next Sunday.

Ice- WELCOME HOME TESS! Hope all is going OK!

Z- Hope everything goes OK with you and the kids while your DH is gone. Have fun at Busch tomorrow!

Hi Fab! Holding out good thoughts for your MIL's mother... :wizard:

Thank you Jill and GM for checking into 9 Dragons for me! I'm excited to eat there- I think then I will have tried every sit down except Norway and Mexico. :p GM- can you eat at Italy again before you go, to try and repeat the experience? Glad Livvie is having such a fun time, and that you are too. Hope you have a nice rewards program tied into the Mastercard for all the charging you are doing! :thumbsup2 I love credit card rewards!

It's certainly been a sad news month for my state. :guilty: I'm glum about those hikers now that one has been found....sad for the families. Sad that I can look out on that mountain daily and think of those men.

Anyhoo, I'm off to clean up the dinner mess and get ready for Survivor!

glt--glad to hear that xh got the kids back in time. He sounds like a real piece of work! Sending hugs your way!

cabmom--great pics!

zalansky--Sorry to hear about your dad. I hope you can get a break soon.

Ugh, DH and I just had this huge fight. He's been off night shifts for 3 days now, but he's still SO tired to do anything family related. Yeah, he's got enough strength to spend 3 hours cleaning both cars and spend 1/2 hour on the computer, but heaven forbid he help with the kids tonight. And then he tells me that I control too much over what's in the house, and should let go--I told him that I have a schedule for a reason--we eat at certain times, bathe at certain times, have regularly scheudled activities so we just don't sit around and watch tV all day. So i told him that I would stop cooking, cleaning, doing laundry, taking the kids to activities--that he could do it--and then he just looked at me crazy! Ugh! Sometimes! Then he goes to bed and I say "goodnight, I love you" and he just looks at me and walks away! So mad!!!!! He said "I don't really want to say that tonight" then of course I said some not very nice things and he went to bed. So, I'm steamed--hopefully tomorrow will be better--and to top it off I feel awful--but I'm not the one who's life is so hard! okay, enough griping from me!

alice--just saw that you posted--enjoy Survivor! It's a good one!

icebrat--yeah, that Tess is with you! Sending PD your way that the time with the mom goes well. Check in when you can!

ff--Happy Birthday!!!!

Well, better go--not to bed yet though, still too steamed!

Hey Everybodeeeeeee!! (or is that not what Grover says? )

DH is over the Flu and is in Texas, cramming 3 weeks of work into one. It was great that he got his promotion - but financially, it was kind of funky for this year. Essentially, he got a 2% raise from last year. It will be better next year, but ya gotta love it, not even keeping up with inflation.

I'm so jealous of everyone who has their cards and packages sent out. I have a cookie agenda with Kailey that must get done this week, and a spanish food theme for the holidays that must be planned and then fullfilled.

Soooo - my BFF is making Paella (sp? spanish rice with other bits) for dinner for Christmas. But I'd like DH (chef extraordinaire) to make something *more*.

Everyone - what is your favorite Spanish recipe? Please help!!! BFF made a thin fish stew for 2 years running. She's English, so she works on "subtle" herbs that only she can taste. Nothing personal, Gems - I just think we're not that subtle in the US. :teeth:

nucpharm,

:grouphug:

Thanks to everyone for the b-day wishes. DH really surprised me and took me to the Melting Pot. YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll catch up tomorrow. DH put Kona to bed and I think he offered to rub my back. :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

GLT - because you've been concerned about a public forum - I'm going to PM.

Z - my heart is out for you. :guilty:

ff--MMMM, I love the Melting Pot! Hope you get your "backrub" :rotfl2: I'll probably end up with an elbow in the face

fab--don't have any Spanish recipes--I've never been a fan of traditional Spanish flavors, too "subtle" for me as well--I've got more TexMex blood in me I suppose!

Grandaughter born on Thursday, 14th.
C-Section. After quite a long time of monitoring....pitocin.....etc. C-Section was only option I guess. Mother and baby daughter are fine. Cord wrapped around neck and body.....but all is well.
I cannot wait for more updated photos. Sure is hard not being around to see, touch, help. Darn it anyway. My heart is with my daughter ! gosh darn.
This is going to be so hard being so far away. Anyone else have parents far away? Hints, tips on being the greatest grandmother? :cheer2: :rotfl:
101_0464.jpg

101_0475.jpg

Hermosa--Used to be that the closest Grandparents for us were 10hrs. away; not quite your distance--but still a long way. Tip on being the best--just keep involved even if it has to be at a distance. Lots of calls and emails--send that new mommy lots of love and support--and maybe a maid service ;) Congrats again on being a new grandmother!

Well, I finally have everyone asleep I think - and I do not wish to have a back rub this evening so I'm hiding out! "Christmas Vacation" is on in our room so I think I'm safe even if he's not snoring yet! I just swept/mopped the downstairs tile so I only have to vacuum/dust tomorrow morning. It's amazing how I always THINK my house is clean - you wouldn't believe the dirt/crap I have found in places. You should have seen my shower - I'm so embarrassed and grossed out...that floor is white, not cream! And I DO clean the darn thing!

icebrat - happy thoughts! :wizard: How exciting!

hermosa - Congrats! I have TONS of experience with living far from our parents. My mom is an AWESOME grandma, I must say! We have always lived between 11 and 14 hours from her and the girls (and now Carson-he's 4 months old and has already seen her on two visits) are so close to her! The greatest thing she does for us is that she COMES TO US often - she realizes how hard it is for us to travel with the girls in school and now a baby again, etc. She visits every couple of months and we usually go to her only about once a year. She emails the girls, sends cute cards for no reason and EVERY holiday (with a little cash, of course ;) ), and is always there for me to vent to. My Dad (they're divorced) is awesome too, just not one to call much. He visits when he can and my kids love him to pieces too. We lived in the same town as my in-laws for five years and that was awesome, but now that we're apart again, we haven't seen them in a year. They do email the girls, call, send goodies, etc., but we miss them very much and it does seem as if they don't think of us so much now that we're out of sight. That's the main thing - stay involved and let them know you're thinking of them! You'll be WONDERFUL!!!!!

nucpharm - sorry about DH - I hate nights like that. Guys don't get it at all - they can just fall asleep no problem and we stew on it. :grouphug: Hope you guys are all feeling ok now.

fab - I'm a Tex-Mex kinda girl myself - couldn't even begin to tell you how to cook an authentic spanish dish. Sounds like fun, though! I don't think I ever told you I was thinking about your MIL's mom - that is very hard, I'm sure. :grouphug:

glt - It's all talk and even if it's not, I can't see that EVER happening. Glad the kids got to go to their concert even if he's probably just trying to look good. Stay strong!!! :grouphug:

cabmom - Precious pictures!!!

ginamarie - sounds like you guys are having a blast - can't believe you're managing to keep up with that Wapo-whatsit thing!

jill - HAVE A BLAST!!!!!

ok, I do need to go to sleep...goodnight to all! One more week until Christmas!

Happy b-day ff! Hope you had a great day! You share your b-day with my nephew.

Congratulations, Hermosa! Haley is adorable! Your dgd was born on the same day as my best friend from high school. They even share the same middle name. Her birth sounds pretty similar to my dd Kylie's with the c-section and the cord being around the neck and the pitocin and all of that. Oh, and I was a "military brat" so other than when we briefly lived with my grandparents and then when we were stationed at MacDill AFB in Florida we never lived near grandparents. We visited and they visited when possible and it all worked out. I adore my grandparents!!

Icebrat~ Glad Tess arrived safely! I can't wait to hear how things are going so far. I think that it is great that she will get to have Christmas with you guys this year too. Oh, and about the dolls...we are in HUGE trouble I guess because Kylie refuses to leave the house without a doll. She is getting her first Cabbage Patch Baby for Christmas and my dad and stepmom saw her today and gave her her gifts early. You guessed it...one of them was a doll! ;)

GLT~ Your ex is really just a piece of work. He's pissed that you finally decided the marriage wasn't worth it. He probably never thought you'd leave. There isn't a court or judge out there that would award him full custody. I know you are upset and anxious but I just don't see that happening. Besides, if they did, your XH would have it reversed as there is no doubt in my mind he couldn't handle being a full-time parent to 3 kids. I will be thinking of you!

Cabmom~ Dean is a cutie!

nucpharm~ I hear you on the weather! It was 71 degrees at 10 a.m. this morning! Glad you guys had fun at the lights but sorry you didn't feel well. Sorry to hear about your fight with dh. Hopefully he's cooled off and you have as well by now. I know how it is to be so mad you can't be in the same room sometimes!

DisKim~ Good luck with the dog! They are adorable but they require A LOT of patience! Emily will love it though!

Hi to everyone else! I finally got my film developed today. Some of the pictures look grainy though. Dh took every picture though and I don't know if it is b/c of him, the camera, or the lighting. My camera usually takes pretty good photos. It's a nice camera. Of course this is why I am getting a digital one for Christmas though (well, right after Christmas)...that way I can see what I am taking as I'm taking it! But anyway, I have a few pics of Kylie in her pageant last month.

Kylie right before we left for the pageant:

Kyliebeforeleavingforthepageant.jpg

Kylie on stage posing before the pageant started...And yes, Icebrat, the doll in the background is Kylie's! I had to toss it to dh before the pageant started so she wouldn't carry it across stage! ;)

Kylieonstagebeforeherpageant.jpg

Not sure how clear this one will be but it is her walking across stage. These didn't turn out great.

Kylieswalkonstage.jpg

A picture of the babies/toddlers during the group pose (another that didn't turn out great!) The little girl at the end in green is the one whose mommy went balistic since her dd didn't win that I had told you guys about. Sorry if the pic is big.

Thecontestants.jpg

Another group shot. The little girl at the very end with the white dress won. I think she is crying in this shot though which is why you can't see her face. She cried during the entire group pose thing. She was fine when she went out by herself though.

Thecontestantswiththewinner.jpg

Okay, and here is a picture of Kylie wearing the shirt that Robin sent. It's a bit big still but she can wear it. Her pants are too big too so it fits right in, lol! She has her Hello Kitty barrette in her hair too but dh didn't really get that in the photo. Oh, well.

KylieinhershirtfromRobin.jpg

Well, my sis's baptism went fine but she slipped and almost hit her head on the bottom! She didn't and is fine thankfully! Witchy SIL and I didn't run into eachother so that was good. It's been a decent day and so beautiful outside! I am scared to see how bad our actual winter might be since we are still having 70 degree temps! We have a family reunion Tues. night (dh's side of the family) and my sisters are supposed to be coming over with their mom sometime this week to give Kylie her gift (the Feliz Navidad Dora, I think). Then we may or may not be going to my dad's one night as well. That is still up in the air. Then it's Christmas Eve at my mom's. Christmas morning we have breakfast at dh's mom's and lunch at dh's grandmother's. Thank God I am done with my shopping now! I don't know when I'd find the time this week to finish up with all that is going on. I will be spending Kylie's "daycare days" this week cleaning. I didn't get any of that done last week due to the stomach bug. I am not sure if I will have much free time to post this week so, in case I don't, I hope you all have wonderful Christmases!!! :)

Congrats, Grandma Hermosa11! :cloud9:

Welcome home, Tess! princess:

Happy belated birthday, Holly! :cake:

Have a great time, Jill! I'm sending you a PM about getting together on the 26th. :thumbsup2

Hugs, GLT! :grouphug:

Cute pics, Marilynn & Tasha! :goodvibes

Off to work on WPASADI! TTFN!

Congrats Grandma Hermosa! She's beautiful!

My mom and MIL both lived about 11 hours away until last year when my parents moved to Oregon. It was hard sometimes not having family here to lean on. But I think just by them lending me their moral support, supporting me as a mother, with breastfeeding (some people I know, their moms really poo-pooed it and make snotty comments about it), with buying my kids little things now and then, showing lots of interest in their grandkids, remembering special occasions, etc meant a lot, both to me and my kids as they got older. When you are able to visit, lend support, but try not to pester or go on and on about how maybe you did things when you were a young mother. ;) You would never do that though, right? I think there is a right way to say just about anything; it just takes some thought I guess. My MIL put her foot in her mouth ROYALLY a few times with me, and it caused some ruffled feathers. Anyway, you will be a GREAT gramma, and your daughter and grandbaby will feel that, even though the miles separate you. :grouphug:

I'm tired- I've already caught several spelling errors- I should sign off and go to bed, but it's so nice to be on the computer will no disruptions!

Tasha- Kylie is so cute! You've inspired me to cut Molly's bangs- her hair is just OUT OF CONTROL and Kylie's looks so well coiffed and tidy! I love the shirt on her! I can't believe she is so tiny! I hesitated buying an 18 m or 2T, but since it was a Target shirt I figured it might run small....guess not! Hopefully it might still fit her next year? :confused3

Molly is loving dollies too- I wrote out a list of what I spent on the kids for Christmas this year, as DH was giving me a hard time that I spent too much. He acts like he was not given anything for Christmas as a child- he said, My brother and I got maybe one $20 or $25 gift and then a few $10 gifts and that was it. Um, excuse me, that was the 1970s and things were cheaper then AND I highly doubt his parents were as grinchy as he is making them out to be....I've been to their house...they ain't poor. So, I added it up- yeah, about $80 on each boy, plus $25 in stocking goodies, and $110 on Molly. Part of that was the $35 Gymbo outfit I bought her, and the boys didn't get clothes. And the fact that I bought them a $30 toy each at TRU with gift cards I earned with our AMEX, so they were technically free. But it's SO MUCH FUN to buy the dress up clothes, the dollies, the Princess goodies. I told him about the threads on the DIS where a lot of families spend $500 or more per child, so to lay off of me! :teeth: I probably won't go hog wild for Molly's bday though, seeing as we're going to Disney 10 days later. Maybe just a Gymbo outfit, or two, and a nice toy. She does get plenty from her grandparents, and I want to save my pennies to buy her the other bean bag princesses at Disney. princess:

OMgosh- I have shared here before that I can handle barf, poop, pee, snot, boogars, etc., but ear wax GROSSES me out. I tucked Molly's curls behind her ears tonight while she was sitting on my lap and she had a pea sized ball of ear wax sitting in the outside of her ear! :scared: :scared1: :crazy2: I yelled for DH and he was like, "What is the big deal!?!?!? You are going to give her a complex!" Cause then I was looking in her ear with a flashlight to make sure it was all out....(I was slightly worried something was wrong as that happened to DS when his eardrum ruptured after a bad ear infection, and she had been such a grump lately)....it was and it looked fine otherwise. So then, LOL, she kept grabbing our ears and trying to point the flashlight in it, and kept saying, "Ewwww....ucky!" DH just rolled his eyes at me and said, "See!" She is just so freaking funny- she is seriously a parrot these days- she will try and mimic everything I say and a lot of the time she's successful- it shocks me! I gotta be careful! And she mimics a lot of what we do too, and it's just so amazing to me....the boys were just more in their own little world, and while they were smart, they just weren't quite as observant to subtleness as she is.

ANYWAY- that was a nice little story now, wasn't it?

I gotta go to bed- I'm starting to seriously ramble! I will say that I saw the new clothes on the Gymbo website, and although there are 2-3 outfits I love, plus the swimsuit, I think my rational side has won out and I will just buy the swimsuit this week and wait to spend my Gymbucks on the rest. Yay for me! :smooth:

Lucas and DH have both picked up that stomach bug. It's only a matter of time before I get it, I'm sure. We've all been up all night and we're both calling in to work tomorrow. Actually, I guess that would be today since I'm supposed to be there in 2 hours. LOL

ff - Happy birthday!! Glad you enjoyed the Melting Pot!

icebrat - Congrats on Tess arriving safely. I hope everything went smoothly.

hermosa - Congrats grandma!

glt - Yes, I was responsible for the tag. I just wanted to show our support in some small way. :furious: about your XH.

cabmom - I love the pictures of Dean! He's a cutie. Congrats on him beginning to walk!

llij, j&D - Have wonderful vacations!

Tasha - Great pictures!

alice28 - It doesn't sound like you went overboard on Christmas gifts to me.

Hi to all the moms I missed, and there are a lot of you. I'm seriously seeing double b/c I'm so tired and I have some laundry to do before we run out of non-puke covered things.

This will probably be my post until I get back. Everyone have a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

I wish I could say that I am super excited to be going, but I'm still so exhausted from school being done that I just want to sleep for about two weeks. Something is seriously wrong with me! I'm the Disney freak in the family! :teeth: I'm sure once I see the WDW sign then all will be well. Say a prayer that we all don't go bonkers in the car on the way down though! ;)

SL - I hope that you don't get sick!! :wizard:

Nucpharm - I'm sorry that you and dh had a fight. :grouphug:

Justhat and J&D - I hope that I get to meet up with you guys. J&D - I got your pm. If you get in early please call, I'd love to meet up with you.

Tasha - Kylie is so cute!

Cabmom - Dean is adorable! Congrats on his walking!

FF - I hope that you had a great birthday!

Diz - Good luck with the house today! :wizard:

Hermosa - Congrats on your new granddaughter. :cloud9: She is beautiful. You've gotten lots of great tips here too! I was a military brat and lived far away from both sets of grandparents growing up. My mom's mom and dad were awesome and called a lot and came to visit us as much as they could. I loved them to pieces!

Robin - John always has a ton of earwax and it can be gross at times. Puke is what usually gets to me.

Fab - Good luck with the spanish meal!

Icebrat - How is it going with Tess so far?

Zalansky - I'm saying some prayers for you and your family. Is hospice coming in at all to help?

GLT - Glad to hear that the kids got home in time for the Christmas concert. Fab is right about pm'ing you with information. I'll make sure to do that too just in case your ex reads the boards. Continued thoughts and prayers being sent your way! :grouphug:

Hi to all the moms! :wave2:

I need to finish up packing and get the dog to her "doggie hotel." Everyone have a wonderful holiday!!! :teeth:

Have a fabulous trip Jill :cheer2: ! We can't wait for details when you return :thumbsup2 .

Happy Belated Birthday, Holly :bday: !

SL,
Hope everyone is feeling better soon. You should send your sis a nice thank you card for infecting your family ;) .

Nucpharm,
Hope things cool off for you today. Don't you know that men's lives are always harder than ours  ?

Robin,
LOL at the ear wax and Molly's reaction. She is so precious princess: . I went shopping yesterday to get stocking stuffers and managed to spend $100 so tell your dh you are doing well.

Fab,
Sending prayers for MIL's mil .

Tasha,
Great photos. Kylie is such a doll.

icebrat,
Hope all is going well.

Hermosa,
What a beautiful little princess princess: . Congrats.

J&D,
You are really dedicated to be working on wasabi at that hour of the night :) .

Hi to BnB, GM, Diz, and everyone  .

I got my cards done yesterday, the rest of my shopping except for maybe one more thing for Katrina, went to my neice's bday party, and even started wrapping. Now today I'm exhausted. Good thing I'm going to work to "rest" ;) .

For those who asked, I'm not sure what was in the butter shot but it tasted exactly like a butterscotch candy and there was no strong alcohol taste at all. Very yummy :) .

TTYL  . I have to head to work.

Jill - Have a wonderful trip to WDW and a fantastic Christmas. I'm so jealous that you'll be in WDW tomorrow - you're so lucky!! Hope you have a safe trip.

Icebrat - So glad to hear that Tess is home with you safely. Enjoy every minute of her.

GLT - Ugh - Continued good thoughts coming your way. :grouphug:

Floridafam - Happy 35th! I'm 35, and can tell you it's not so bad at all. :thumbsup2

Alice - You're so funny with the Ear Wax story and Molly - OMG - so funny. :rotfl:

Justine - LOL at Madison in the car - she's adorable!

Loretta - I'm really sorry to hear what you're going through with your dad. I remember taking care of my mother when she was ill and it was terrible seeing what she went through and what I had to help her with. Words can't even describe some of the things we went through at that time. Continued thoughts and prayers are being sent out to you.

Just a quick question - When you ladies have your kids go to a playdate or have a child over for a playdate, how much time do you usually allot for it? 2 hours or so? My son has been having a few playdates and has been invited for some also, so i'm just wondering what the usual protocol is - do you stay at the house until you get to know the parent or do you drop them off? Kevin had one yesterday - it went about 2 3/4 hours and I stayed at the house because I only knew the parents from Soccer.

Gotta go - hi to everyone !!

Morning all! :sunny: Well, things are much better around here this am. DH appologized for being so snarky last night. We had a little discussion and now we're cool again. He actually got up with Emma this am at 5:30 and fed her breakfast.

Today is an exciting day of hitting Walmart for those trip goodies. Even though we're giving up the pacifier after the Christmas trip (gotta have it for the car ride) I'm going to get a couple spares--need some extra sippy cups and some travel drinks and snackies. Then to do laundry so I can start packing tomorrow. I hate having to pack for all 4 of us, and I can't count on having tomorrow to do anything b/c I may or may not babysit. So, I gotta start today--also, Wed. will be a pack the car day and take Matthew to get his 1st haircut. I really don't want it done yet, but I think the curls are getting on DH's nerves--too girly I guess! Boy, that was a lot of rambling, huh!

Jill--Have a wonderful vacation! Hope the car ride isn't too stressful. We're doing the 13 1/2 hr. trip in one day on the way up on Thurs. I'm really dreading it! Take some time to relax on your trip--Have a Merry Christmas!

alice--I don't think that around $100 per child is much at all for xmas. I'm sure I spent at least that much on Emma--I spent less on Matthew, but he's only 1.

dizagain--I was right there with you watching Christmas VAcation last night! Great movie!

fab-sending prayers and PD for your MIL's mother! :grouphug:

SL-hope you don't get the stomach bug! I never got the stomach part of it, thank goodness, but I did feel really run down and achy for a day or so. Hugs to your DH and LUcas

Tasha--Merry Christmas to you if we don't hear from you again before the 25th!

Hillbeans--I have always stayed with Emma at her playdates--but she's also younger--don't have much other experience--We ususally are there for 1-2 hours depending on the time of day.

J&D --have a wonderful trip!

WEll, I must go and finish getting beautiful--yeah, right, I can dream right??? At least get my hair dried and slap some lip gloss on! Will chat later!

THANK YOU ALL FOR THE BEAUTIFUL GIFTS!!

I am so grateful to you all for thinking of us, the Gymbo boys clothes are so cute! I love the little hat! I am sure that Flumpy will look lovely in them! Robin - Did you indulge your Gymbo addiction on me!! :rotfl:

The postman came today with the package and I was so surprised! Shelby helped me to open it and she loves opening gifts!!

We are feeling better - Shelby has improved a lot, but she is still miserable if she doesn;t get enough sleep. I finished work on Wednesday last week for mat leave - it couldn't come sooner!

Bellacam- I hope that Bailey is dong ok, I didn't know that she was sick :grouphug: take care and I agree with the other Mommies don't worry about the Christmas shopping!

Hermosa - Your Grand Daughter is beautiful! I can't imagine how hard it will be for you to be so far away from her and your daughter. When did you decide to go and visit in the end?

Jill - Have a great trip!

SL - Sorry to hear that you have a bug in your house - It's awful when they go round the whole family - but better this wek than next I guess.

Dizagain - My DH loves Christmas vacation - we watched it here last night too! popcorn::

Oh dear _ I smell a poopy diaper - I shall sign off - hi to all the other mommies I misses - hope you are all well.

Zalansky- I don’t know where in Tampa you are located, but if you are looking for a clean walmart, the one near my house is pretty clean. Maybe you can look into moving to Lake St .Charles now, we were thinking about moving there as well and decided against it. I would’ve thought this area was cheaper than Tampa. Tess keeps pointing to your daughter in your siggie pic saying that’s her baby, lol. Oh darn! You are going to Busch gardens today? We have a 2 year pass for there, we could’ve met up! Oh well, another time, are you on a pass as well, if so that’ll be GREAT!

Justine - LOL at Madison and her numbers, too funny. I can’t believe it took so long to go 21 miles. OMG, I don’t know if I can DIS when she is awake, she is waving at Madison and Henry and is getting angry at me that they aren’t waving back, she pinched my thigh. How did the Hanukkah party go?

DisKim- You are totally right, it sounded like something you would see on Cops, I totally didn’t believe it, it was just so much. Good luck with dog training, it can be trying at times.

Dizagain- I will look into the American Girl babies thing. What are sausage balls?

SL - What kind of pie did you make for the Fake Christmas Eve? Tess says Hello to “the baby”.

Nuc- I hope Matthew feels better soon. LOL @ him in his cute girlie gymbo clothes. I hope all your steam has blown away, you have a valid reason to be angry. DP has been doing that as well. She has worked a lot of hours lately and has her licesing exam tomorrow, and she hasn’t had time for me in over a week, just bosses me around and tells me what to do, yet she has time to spend with MIL, watch the stupid football game Grr… Sometimes we just have to let it go, of course that is AFTER we complain.

Val - What are butter shots?

Tasha - Love the pictures!

Robin - I can’t believe your DH is getting on you over the Christmas gift, Christmas is only once a year, tell him if it makes him feel better we spent more than what he is getting on you about. LOL about the ear wax thing, too funny.

FF- What is that donut you speak about? I have never had a Dunkin Donut before, we didn’t have them in the San Francisco area of California. We have a lot here in Florida but I’ve never gone to get one. Are they good? Happy Belated B-day!

Joats- How awesome that your niece figure skates, I skated at a very competitive level from 8-17, Michelle Kwan and I shared the same coach (before her switch), I also coached toddlers for a while. I can’t wait until Tess turns 3 so I can coach her and get her in some comps. --- Icky poo on the bugs in the tree, I would’ve totally freaked out and probably would’ve made DP get rid of the tree and get us a new one, but that’s just me.

BNB - Congrats on your first gymbuck!

Lissa - Congrats on getting your painting finished. I feel your pain with the color mishap, we painted our interior of our house and the master bath color is HORRIBLE, it’s half done it looks so bad, we have to find a new color for it and re-prime, I guess we will repaint it when we paint Tess’ room.

Gina- Nice to know that you are enjoying your vacation at WDW, can’t wit to see pics.

Jill - Have fun at WDW, good luck with the car ride. You know… I just realize that your Dis name is your name spelled backwards, boy am I slow!

Fab- I too was worried athat she would back out at the last minute. Sorry, I don’t have any authentic Spanish recipes, I cook Mexican but not Spanish. I’ve had Puerto Rican food and I didn’t care for it too much, sorry can’t be of any help.

Hermosa - As I previously said, congrats on your grand daughter! She is a beauty! You will be in Hawaii soon to meet the little one in person. Now you have an excuse to go to Hawaii more often! Since we weren’t able to meet back home in California, maybe we can meet up in Hawaii, we will probably go next year, as I have a friend that has a house on the beach and invited us.

Cab- Deans eyes are gorgeous. Wow! What a cute little baby. Tess likes “the baby”. Congrats on your little guy walking.

GLT- Your soon to be xdh is just being a real tool. Don’t let him get to you, stay strong, don’t let him see you break down, he doesn’t deserve the satisfaction. Nice to hear that he got the kids back home in time for the concert.
