Well, we've had a pretty productive day around here. Got to the gym and spent an hour in the cardio room--I forgot how good it feels to workout w/o kids bothering me! It was nice to plug in the IPOD and listen to what I want for a change. I wish I could go for walks with the kids, but it's sooooo hilly around here there is no way I could push the double stroller out of our subdivision. Then after the gym, Matthew decided to take a 3 1/2 hr nap, so Emma and I had lunch, a little craft time, and then bathed the dog.
Thanks for all the PD and prayers for my sis and BIL--I guess after talking to her that they jumped into this new business w/o really thinking about how they were going to survive until they started making $$$. And the other partners in the business have no idea how to run a business either. But in the meantime, BIL has found a steady paying job and will continue to work at the new business part-time until they can afford for him to go at it full-time. DH and I are going to loan them a little $$$ to make it this month, and then BIL's new job checks should start rolling in. Lluckily, my DH is sooooo good with money that we have some extra to loan them--if it were up to me, no matter how much I made, I would probably be still poor!
dizagain--after having 2 babies in WI in the winter; we learned a little about how to keep those little ones warm. I found any snow-suit type of outfit definitely more of a pain to get on than it was worth--20 minutes of wriggling for a 10 min. trip out of the house--no thanks! Anyway, I loved my carseat carrier cover!!! I would dress the kids warmly, but not overly so, buckle them in the seat, cover with a fuzzy blanket and then the carseat cover--and they were fine. Also, once your in the car it's easy to unzip the covers and remove the blankets, since it warms up in there quickly--no so easy with the snow-suit things. Hope that helps!
Alice--just to let you know what a devil you are----I think I've eaten almost all that Lemon cake by myself!!!

It is so yummy and DH balks at anything that isn't chocolate related (you'd think he was a PMSing woman!

) Glad you got the neighborhood stuff sorted out!
SL--how exciting that you leave on Monday!!! Hope you can get everything done in the next few days!
GLT--I was thinking just the other day about the WI weather and what we would be experiencing if we still lived there--on the news last night the weatherman was talking about needing to heat on--WTH, it's only going to get down into the low-50s tonight! That will be me next year, with my jacket on when the temps dip below 60!
J&D--hope you start to feel better
Jill--sorry to hear that John isn't sleeping well for you. Hugs and PD that it changes soon!

Can you believe that John and Matthew are almost a year old??? Time has sure flown by! Glad to hear that Meagan is feeling better. Have a good time at the steak house and at the reunion
Well, better get off of here and get Matthew down out of his highchair--yeah, he's justnow eating lunch and it's, what, 3pm--oh well, guess it will be a late dinner here! have a great evening all!
