Hi Ladies. I wanted to catch up and post last night, but DIS was just not accepting me :confused3

DisKim - my prayers and thoughts are with your aunt today.

eeks. leif is clositng my laptop, will chat later

I have a lot to do before we leave but of course I am wasting time on the computer. Dizagain, what I do with Henry right now, since it's not so cold, is wrap him in a swaddle me blanket cause it has a cutout for the crotch strap of the carseat. He hates to be swaddled too so I don't use it in that purpose, I just keep his feet in the bag part and then wrap the rest around him, but leaving his arms free. The reason I like it for right now is that the car is cool in the morning when we take Madison to school, but it's not so cold out that he needs a coat. I just wrap him up in the swaddle me, including his arms for the walk to the car, then when we get in the car I leave his body wrapped but take his arms out and I can just strap him in with the blanket on. That way his body isn't directly touching the cold carseat (cause I never take the infant seat out of the car). They make heavier swaddle me's (I have the thin cotton one), I think flannel and fleece, so if you don't take the infant seat in you could use that to get him to the car. Oh, and I also use it this way at night cause he gets chilly but he's too small for his bag sleeper thing I bought him so I just wrap him in the swaddle me without his arms in and he stays warm.

Just a quickie for now-

Hillbeans- yes, you get $25 off your next $50 purchase, but you have to do it in the time frame listed on the Gymbuck. It's Oct 5th thru the something. 15th maybe? I have my GBs in my purse, so I don't know off the top of my head. The next line that is coming out this weekend for boys is cute- it's trains!

Kim- praying for your Aunt! I'm praying for the doctor's to have skill, keen observation and thoroughness getting all the tumor out, that your aunt is staying healthy and calm, that the tumor is benign, and that your uncle is staying centered and calm as well.

Off to exercise before MIL gets here! she likes to go out to eat when she's here (fine by me!) but that means I better get my booty moving NOW!

Morning mommies,

I dropped the kids off at school this morning and went to get my blood drawn because I'm having a CT scan on Tuesday. Maybe that will see what is causing the pain. I'm sure it will show nothing but at least I can start narrowing it down.

Robin,

I goofed when I said it is at the top of my rib cage. It's actually under my left breast. I had a brain fart and forgot I had ribs higher than that. :rotfl2:

DH met me there so I didn't have to take Kona in. We are both in a pretty good mood today. I stopped at Walgreens and bought some Pampers because they were on sale and then we came home. I really wanted to go to Target but I was good and didn't. Dh got a HUGE paycheck today and we are putting it all toward bills. He had 25 hours of overtime, a stipend for being on call and this was the 3rd paycheck of the month so they didn't take out medical, dental or 401k. :woohoo:

lissawynn,

I'm glad you called the office about that nurse. She shouldn't even be dealing with people if she is going to treat them like that. I'm sorry you are sick. I hope you feel better soon. :grouphug:

DisKim,

I'll continue to keep your Aunt in my prayers. :grouphug:

I know I've missed a ton of you. I'm going to get caught up later.

I'll be back with a list of who has mailed out their exchange packages as of today. Be sure to PM me when you mail your out. :thumbsup2

The deadline for the Fall exchange is Oct. 10. :cool1:

:wave2:

OK, I did my workout- it's kind of nice to get it overwith in the morning. I should do that more often- I put Sam on the bus at 7:25, ran back in the house, turned my DVD on and was done by 8 and Molly got up about 20 minutes later. Josh, of course, is still sleeping.

Fab- that thread was so funny, and so true! I also could relate with the woman who said she wets herself when she vomits- I have to admit, that still totally happens to me! I don't throw up too often, but yikes! I'm glad I wasn't given a "Kegal Queen" tag....that's probably a little risque, even for the tag fairy!

FF- I hope the CT scans shows nothing too. But I also hope that they figure out what's going on, esp with some of your family history. :guilty: I know I have gotten pains under my breast like that before, in my chest wall, and it's usually just a muscle tweaking or I'm stressed out. Does it kind of feel like a cramp? I'm glad your DH got some booku bucks today! We had an extra check this month too, although it didn't really feel like it. We hardly pay anything for medical, so I think it was a whopping $15 more than usual. Oh well, that's a trip to Baja Fresh, right? :teeth:

I cannot WAIT to get to the bank on Monday to complete the car transaction. I just looked at our AMEX online. This is the first time in our marital history that we have almost maxed out a card. I almost fainted. :faint: But, it will be erased on Monday evening, so I'm not too stressed about it. And we have no other cards with balances on them. Monday has turned into a CRAZY day for me. My MIL will still be here, but I won't see her! I have my first preschool day from 9-3. I am bringing Molly and Josh for the first half, and then Mom is coming to babysit Molly the 2nd half. And then I have to be at the credit union at 3:30 to sign the papers. 5:45 is Josh's 1st soccer practice! I think Monday will be a 'going out to dinner' night, what do you think? ::yes::

Justhat- I find it amusing that Delaware has been under construction for 8 years! It's such a teeny state- how much is there to do? :lmao: Sorry for any Delaware folks here, but holy moly!

The new Gymbo line for girls, out this weekend, is (WRITE THIS ONE DOWN LADIES) SO NOT my style. It reminds me of our bathroom in 1984. It's mauves and dusty blues. I think I will be selling a few Gymbucks on ebay for once. Or if anyone needs any here, PM me and we can strike a good deal. I have 7 of them and can see using maybe 4-5. I do like the train tops for boys that are coming out- they are cute!

I told my DH the prices for WDW and he just said 'uh-huh.' Even I, when I listen to myself, think I'm crazy. And I think my MIL would think we have gone off the deep end. She does NOT get my obsession with Disney. And she's probably been there a few more times than I have (mostly for day trips as her parents lived in Kissimmee...forever my in-laws had some teacher's pass to Epcot and they would go and have dinner there while visiting her parents). She really wants to go to Hawaii with us, but it's only $150 each way from San Jose. But that's because there are 4-5 airlines that fly out of the Bay Area, so the competition is fierce, while only 2 fly directly out of Portland to HI.

My parents however, had their ears perk a little when I said WDW. Funny how different our parents are! :goodvibes

OK, well to be blunt, I need a shower after that workout!

TGIF everyone! :goodvibes

I too, tried to get on the DIS last night while I had some free time and couldn't even log in. Very annoying, because I don't have much time now since the kids are up and I have no one here (an adult, that is) to help out.

Anyway, Diskim - my thoughts are with your Aunt today. :grouphug:

lissa - I am glad you are calling about that nurse, and sorry you had such a bad night last night. I am still very excited for you that you're having a girl. princess:

Alice - I hope you guys go to WDW!!! I went back and tried to look at the dates you were considering but I can't find it. When are you thinking of going? I know its bad about the obessesion....but I am the same way. I have usually started planning our next trip the dat after we get home because I miss it so much. Good job on working out.

FF - I hope you get to the bottom of what is bothering you! I know how bad it can be....not knowing what is causing aches and pains and you seem the picture of health to the doctor. I had blood drawn this morning too because I think I am getting Rheumatoid Arthritis. My oldest sister has it bad, so bad she has had both knees replaced and all the knuckles in her hands. So I am always worried I am going to get it and mu joints have been bothering me for two weeks now. Hopefully my blood tests will show something, and that I am not getting RA!

Hi to everyone else! Hillbeans, Jill, dizagain, Joats, GLT, justthat, fabumouse, nucpharm, SL, ginamarie, GEMS, bnb and anyone else I missed. :wave2:

My sister flew to Raleigh, NC yesterday to look at houses....they are thinking of moving there from Long Island because the bills are too high and they can't deal anymore. Their taxes are almost $9k a year. Anyway she left me a message and told me to pack my bags because the area is awesome and we should move there too.

No plans for the weekend here, the weather is finally cooling off a little bit  Hope y'all have a great weekend.

Good afternoon, all! Sorry I've been missing in action--poor Luke has a cold, and is all congested, so he just wants to be snuggled all the time. I can't blame him, poor little guy, and i really don't mind snuggling, but my house is a sight!

Kim--Still praying for your aunt, hopefully you'll have more news by the end of today.

I wanted to say, I love everyone's updated pictures! I have a full CF card still from Disney, that I haven't even looked through. I have to get my act together.

Robin--Good for you for doing your workout. I'm so hoping to get back into a routine, if only Luke would get into one! And you know what I find with Gymbo, is I run hot and cold on their lines--they do a lot of innovative stuff, and I either love it or hate it--I'm rarely in the middle. Some of their color choices are so fresh, and others you're like, "What were they thinking?". But, having been a "Gymbo mom" for over 11 years now, there are lines that I can wax eloquent about from years back!

justthat--have a safe drive and a good weekend!

FF--I hope you find out what's bothering you. You can't be too careful when you're talking about the cardiac region of your body.

dizagain--I'm going to be the contrarian and say that I never used a snowsuit or carrier cover for my infants int he car. Of course, there are a few things to keep in mind: I have an attached garage, so the baby was always going form the house to the (pre-warmed) car. Luke was my only winter baby (born 2/26--I have two "springs" and a "summer"). I didn't take Luke out much as a tiny baby, and the others were bigger. I would just throw a blanket or two on them, and keep a spare blanket in the car. They would have snowsuits for outdoor "play"--i.e., being pulled in a sled around the backyard. And of course they would wear a jacket and a hat. Now, all that said, it's all about what makes you comfortable, but if you won't have the kid in a cold environment for long periods, blankets or a fleece cover should be fine.

BTW, we can compare "rec night" notes tomorrow. Jocelyn said kids at school were making a big deal over who was going with whom to rec night--she thinks it's all ridiculous. So I asked her who SHE was going with, and she said, "Hannah!" So, I'm thinking she hasn't noticed boys yet!

Alissa--I hope you feel better after resting up today.

Hillary--it's funny that you and Stephanie mention the kid standing by the bed. Robert does this to me sometime--like he's willing me to wake up, and when I do, I'm so startled that there's a person standing there. What does he expect--it's 2 am, I'm asleep, I don't have my glasses on. Kids are weird.

Well, I have to go, Mr. Crankypants is up again. Poor little man!

hi ladies!

I'm so far behind, it's not even funny!

I still have a couple of pages left to read, I just wanted to check in.

I'm heading to Archiver's to scrap with my girlfriend tonight and I'm organizing my stuff to bring while Tyler is napping.

Love all the new pictures! I should update mine, it's not really beach weather anymore!

alice - lol about not liking the new Gymbo line. That doesn't sound like my style either. I took a look at the holiday stuff for boys and it didn't do a whole lot for me either.

dizagain - We used the fleece snowsuit thing for Tyler. The big, heavy snowsuit was too thick and hot to ride in the car. We just covered the carrier with a blanket when we went out.

ff - I hope they figure out what the pain is! Congrats on your hubby's big check!

sl - I can't believe your trip is almost here! I can't wait to hear all about it. I hope you have a great time!!

I feel horrible running off without responding to everyone - Maybe I can catch up this weekend!

Does anyone know if Breakfast with Bear no longer exists on the Disney channel of if they just moved the time? I miss my morning mambo! ;)

Have a good weekend!!!

tamie

Man you guys move too fast!

Kim- I've been thinking about your aunt all day. I hope that's going well.

FloridaFam- Good luck with the tests. I hope it’s something really minor.

Alice- I’m secretly hoping that you get to take an extra trip to WDW. DH wanted to skip WDW or go someplace else last year, but I splurged and bought the airfare for his birthday, so that made up his mind really quickly. We wound up having a great vacation since a group of my dear friends and my brother all went at the same time with us.

Zalansky- I don’t blame your DSis for thinking about moving off of Long Island! DH and I seriously considered it ourselves, but DH works in television, so there’s a big market for him in NYC, but only much smaller ones elsewhere. $9K is so much to pay in taxes though. We’re paying about $6600, but I know my parents are somewhere in the range of $12K now. It’s just ridiculous.

Buzznbelle and Dizagain- Good luck with the rec night! If it winds up being anything like my DSis’ rec nights when she was that age, the kids will probably spend the whole time gossiping with each other and running back and forth between the gym and the cafeteria.

We’re having another sleepover with the kids tonight since my parents are going to NYC to see Eric Clapton. I’m going to put them to work with helping set things up for the housewarming :) I put together a mish-mosh menu of burgundy beef stew, jack daniels grilled chicken and pasta with garlic/cheese sausage. I also got a bunch of fresh fruits and veggies and chips, and I’ll probably bake something. Mom and I went to the discount grocery store yesterday. It’s complete chaos in that place. You can barely get around because there are so many (mostly elderly) people, and parking is a COMPLETE disaster, but the groceries are cheap.

Of course I stopped at the discount liquor place today for some Jack Daniels and they only had a giant bottle. I must have looked ridiculous. I was practically the only person in the store, rolling around a baby and buying a couple of giant liquor bottles. I would have pointed out that I’m not a raging alcoholic and that I needed all these things to cook with, but that probably would have made me more conspicuous!

TGIF everyone!

Well, Carson is still snoozing in the carseat after errands, so I have a minute. Who needs to vacuum, right? Anyway, This check-out lady just called Carson an "Oops Baby"....I'm kind of upset about that. She asked me if I had any other kids and how old they were...I told her and she started laughing and shaking her head and said "Oh...Oops!!!" Well, I told her he was actually quite "on purpose" and we were thrilled to have him - then I left with steam coming out my ears and I just can't seem to get over that. I told DH but he didn't care, so I'm telling you guys. I mean, I miscarried 15 months ago and in November when the baby had been due, DH and I decided to try for a few months and see what happened. Well, CARSON HAPPENED!! Anyway, I don't know why I'm so offended, but I really am. I'm not exactly wobbling around with a cane yet, lady!

BuzznBelle'smom- Hope both girls enjoy their Rec Night! Hayley is excited but no interest in boys, I don't think. She has crushes, but she's not ready to do anything about that yet! She did get a call-back for her play so she's staying after school today for that - then she has to wait all weekend to find out. So I'm glad she'll have fun tonight to distract her! Hope Luke feels better soon!

floridafam - good luck with the tests! Hope they can figure things out and that it's not a big deal!

ginamarie- Good luck with the housewarming! I wish I were going with your parents!

tykes - have fun on your "ladies night"! I am so jealous of those who scrapbook - I just never started because I knew I wouldn't complete anything and I'd feel guilty. I am just proud to come right home from picking up my pictures and get them right into the albums - at least I trained myself to do that!

diskim - still thinking of your aunt!

Well, I guess I will go do something productive. I want to order Carson's hat and mittens with a Baby Gap gift card I have but I can't seem to get the computer to accept it... Oh and DH put together a new link of photos for Carson, but when I tried to type in the link here, nothing happened. ??? Anyway, happy Friday night!

Hi everyone! I am happy to report that the prayers worked and my aunt is totally FINE!!!! The mass was an absess filled with pus. It was not cancerous at all. I'm so relieved.

Hi everyone. I tried to call my OB office several times today and couldn't stand sitting on hold forever, so I didn't get to complain about Jill the B***h nurse. I will make a point of it at my next appointment. I told my mom what she said and my mom, who has been a medical office manager for over 35 years, told me she has no right to make those kinds of decisions w/o talking to a dr.

dizagain - That cashier was a jerk. I've come to the conclusion that there is a world full of stupid people out there who just say whatever they want.

Ginamarie - Your liquor store story is funny. At least you weren't pregnant and buying a super bottle of JD.

Tamie - Are you still doing the growth charts? I'm thinking something like that would make a great gift for my BF's daughter's Christmas gift. Let me know.

Alice - I hope you had a nice lunch with your MIL. I am chuckling at your dismay with the new girls line at Gymbo. That's how I feel most times about their boys stuff.

BnB - I hope Luke is feeling better today. I know what it's like to have a sick boy who wants cuddle time with mom. My house gets pretty messy when that happens.

zalansky - My little sis lives in that same area of NC and loves it.

floridafam - My exchange package has been sitting in my car all week, but I haven't had the time to get to the post office. I hope I can mail it out tomorrow.

nucpharm - Can you give me details about the treasure hunt? My sister wants me to do one for my nephew's bday party in a few weeks, but I'm clueless as to how to do it.

My sister took pity on me and is taking Jimmy to dinner and keeping him out of the house for a while. If only the electrician wasn't coming tonight. I'll talk to you all later.

Hey everyone! - it appears that I only have time to DIS these days when I am at work!! I am sure my boss would be pleased about that! ;)

Just wanted to say thanks to Jill and Hillbeans for joining the exchange!

I am watching Supernanny at the moment, kinda like Nanny 911! Oh my goodness these kids are awful, the one boy is calling his mom by every swear word that you could imagine - it's really awful!! :sad2:

I have no time to catch up now with everyone as I need to go and empty the dishwasher, clean up the kitchen, tidy away toys etc and then find time to get some sleep! DH is at work tonight till mid night so I am all aloneand i hate being home alone!

Hope everyone is well. :wave2:

Diskim - about your Aunt! What a huge relief!

Gems - thanks for organizing the exchange! Looks like almost everyone is participating huh? :goodvibes

Robin - I'm so proud of you for exercising regularly, good job! :thumbsup2

Gem - sounds like you have a lot to get done. I hope you get done what you need to and have time to enjoy some peace & quiet!

lissawynn - good luck with the electrician. Question, I think I mentioed this the other day, but may have missed the reply, are you expanding your home? I remember somEONe on here talking about it, and thought it was you, but could be wrong.

Diskim :grouphug: :cheer2: I am sooo relieved! Thanks for sharing. I'm glad she is going to okay!

dizagain - when I was pg with Leif I had all kinds of comments about being pg and having another kids, it's amazing how everything thinks it's up to them to comment on your birth order!

Rec Nite - forgot that was tonight! Good luck Moms!

ugh! Leif is again closing my laptop, hope to be back after he goes to bed!

DisKim: Phew!!!! What wondeful news!!! I am hoping and betting you will get a better sleep tonight.

Lissawyn: You sound awful. :( Yes that woman sounds like a total B! What is the deal with some people?

Dizagain: Speaking of stupid people...what a dummy cashier you had. Don't people ever think anymore? I hope you and DH can get a link to work. I'd love to see the photos.

GinaMarie: Oh, I'm so jealous of your parents seeing Clapton!! I've seen him three times and he puts on a good show. Hope you enjoy your big night with your big o'l bottle Jack Daniels! :rotfl2:

Tamie: Have fun Scrapbooking. How are the growth chart orders coming along? Did you sell a bunch from that store?

BNB: Sorry to hear Luke isn't feeling well. I hope you can survive tonight!

Zalanksy: That would be good it your sister moved closer. Yes, LI is very expensive.

Robin: I haven't seen it, but man the Gymbo line must be butt-ugly if you (Gymbo's biggest fan) don't like it!! What DVD do you use for your workout?

FF: I hope you will find out what has been bothering you. Glad you are having the CT done.

Justhat: Have a safe trip (and fun) to NJ

SL: Have a good time at the wedding - I'm sure you look dynomite! If I don't get back on again - have a blast at WDW... DH & I loved MNSSHP!

GLT: :lmao: at Leif always closing your laptop. I guess he wants your full attention :)

TGIF!!
Tomorrow DH, Jace and I are going on a picnic in the park where DH and I got married. They also have a small train museum there which Jace is going to love. He's really into his train right now. He has a "little Lionel" that makes noise and goes by itself. He loves it.

Sunday Jace and I are walking in the Juvenile Diabetes 3 mile walk with a bunch of my co-workers. It's supposed to rain :( I hope it's not too bad.
Other than that, that's about it for weekend plans. I much rather be going to WDW with SL!!!!

Tonight is TIVO catch up night. I'd better go get started on the evening.
Hope to check in again this weekend.
:)

Kim~ THANK GOD your aunt is OK! I'm so, so, SO happy for you and your family. That's just so wonderful! :thumbsup2  :Pinkbounc :dance3: :yay:

Gina- LOL here at the picture of you strolling around with your big bottles of
Jack! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: That's a good one. I have been to some of those discount grocery stores too- I agree, great prices, but mecca for old people and scary people! Hope the housewarming goes well.

I'm secretly holding out for WDW too. My hint of the day to DH was, "Hey, if we booked I could be making dining reservations already!" He just laughed and said, "At least I know a trip to Disney with you is a well-planned trip."

lissawynn- I'm sorry you didn't get to put Jill the B*tch nurse in her place yet. What a nice sister you have to take EK off your hands for awhile!

Diz- What a total B*TCH that cashier was! I would be offended by a comment like that too, esp given that you had a miscarriage before Carson. Some people are so stupid. I had this woman at the bus stop tell me today all about Molly's runny nose, and it MUST be allergies because no one gets a cold at this time of year. I wasn't sure who made her the know it all of the day but I barely looked at her. Why do people think they can just say anything when it comes to your kid? I don't like strangers commenting about my kid's snot, thanks.

Tamie- I have got to get my scrappy stuff out too- that Archivers store looks so amazing. I have looked them up online when my other scrappy friends were chatting about them. Have fun and hope you get lots accomplished! I have nothing on the books for next weekend, so I will pull my stuff out. Esp since another envelope of pics from Snapfish arrived today.

GLT-Molly likes to close my laptop too and it's annoying! Thank you for the kudos on my exercising.

Joats- the DVDs I do are by Leslie Sansone and she rocks. They are not hard, but they are effective. My favorite one the last month has been Fat Burner 2 mile walk- it's exactly 30 minutes, so not TOO long, and it is interval training of walking, squats, lunges and you hold 1-2 lb weights while doing it all. My legs are looking pretty awesome if I say so myself. My jelly gut is still there, but the inches are definitely coming off my hips, thighs and butt, and I know it's done wonders for my BP and just my mental health. I just find her DVDs motivating to do daily and I have NEVER found another exercise person who does that for me. I also have the Miracle Mile and the Miracle Mile 2 mile walk. I am getting ready to order another just for variety.

BNB- I have had to do a lot of Molly holding lately too----she cuddled with me for an hour last night in the recliner and she never does that anymore. It was kind of nice. Hope Luke is feeling better soon.

Guess what- I'm so bummed. MIL has been wanting to try the Coldwater Creek Spa so she asked me to call for both of us to go in and get a treatment, her treat. We decided on Vitamin C facials. They only had room for one person, so of course I gave her the spot. Wah! She was so disappointed for me- she had me call back to see if they had room for me to do anything- a massage, a pedi, a mani...nope, booked solid. MEGA Bummer. But I hope she will really enjoy it. She deserves a break with everything going on with my BIL and his soon to be crazy ex wife.

OK, gotta go for now!

DisKim,

WONDERFUL NEWS! I'm so glad your Aunt is okay. :cheer2: :cheer2:

I hope everyone is having a good weekend. Not much to report here. I am tired and can't wait for tomorrow.

Be back later.

Lissa - I hope you got some rest!

Nucpharm - I've never watched Grey's Anatomy, but it's on my Netflix list. Sounds like I should move it up a bit!

Hillbeans - that creepy thing kids do when they're just standing there in the middle of the night - I'm pretty sure Kailey doesn't remember why she came in. So she waits for me to tell her. :teeth:

In a way, I do say things here that I wouldn't want completely out. I mean, I could live with anything I've said on the Dis boards - but I do hope in my heart of hearts that my husband's family never finds out exactly what I think of them.

dizagain - I put Kailey in a creme shirt from . . Gymboree. :) with a flower on it. When I picked her up, her hair clips were climbing out of her hair and she had food on her face. Can't *wait* to see what those photos (which were taken in the afternoon) look like. :thumbsup2 How old are your girls?

Oh - just read your oops lady comment - people can be so foolish. All I can say is that a friend of mine who was in her mid 40's was talking about having a baby and I was about 30, running around talking about how she WAS going to have a baby. I mean, I really had no idea that she might not be *able* to because I'd never thought about it. :confused3 And of course, she didn't because she couldn't and I felt terrible later.

Robin - I think at least part of my obsession with WDW (besides growing up in Anaheim, CA and doing tons of day trips) is that I have this faith that everything is going to be taken care of. Even if an employee lets me down, a manager will soothe me. I don't have to worry if I'm going to have a miserable experience because someone else is having a rotten day. Anyhow, I think most of us get it, even if our families don't. :goodvibes

Diskim - OMG!!! Yay!!!!!!!

So - today at pick up was rough. Kailey said to me - Mr. K wants to talk to you. *Crap*. We have to get to dance class NOW, but let me have it. Kailey has been yelling at the teacher, hysterical when she doesn't get her turn or doesn't agree with things. :confused3 I don't know what to do with her - usually she's fine and the teacher said she's doing well academically, but she gets nutso when things move too fast and she doesn't feel like anyone is listening to her - like in a classroom setting. Even last year, when there were only 11 kids in her room, she had a number of incidents at the beginning of the year when things got too rushed (like during line-up time before they got picked up) and she started yelling and crying. I have no idea how to fix this. :guilty:

DH and the electrician are working on the wiring. I'm sitting on the sofa waiting for Grey's Anatomy to come on. I taped it last night, but the tape cut off the last couple of minutes. I'm just hoping things here are calm enough that I can see it.

DisKim - That's great news about your aunt. Icky about the puss, but what a relief!

GLT - Yes, we are adding a 2nd floor to our house. We have the money, but we have yet to get the building permit. Our contractor needs to fax his insurance info to the borough manager b/c someone there threw away the first copy he sent. Right now the downstairs is being rewired before they put the 2nd floor on.

Alice - Too bad you couldn't get an appointment at the spa. I hope your MIL enjoys herself.

joats - I hope you have a great picnic tomorrow and the weather holds out for your walk on Sunday.

gems - I hope you get all of your house stuff done. I don't like being home alone at night. I hate when DH has to work at night and we're by ourselves.

My sister just called from Wal-Mart. Jimmy will probably be home within the hour. I have no idea what we're doing this weekend. If I feel up to it tomorrow, we're going to go to the Bloomsburg Fair. It's supposed to be nice here, cool but nice. I guess fall is really here.
