Bellacam, I had that feeling with this baby from about maybe 25 weeks till he was born. It might have even been earlier than that, I forgot. Funny how that happens cause I was miserable at the time. He felt like he was kicking his way out, but simultaneously punching my ribs. And I didn't get that with Madison till 2 days before she was born, when I assume she "dropped". This one didn't drop till I started to push so not sure why I always had so much pressure down there.
BnB, glad that Celeste likes preschool now. That makes drop off so much easier doesn't it? Madison cried every morning at drop off from the first day till mid-January last year-I thought it would never end. Her teacher said she was fine as soon as she walked in the door and she was always happy and playing when I picked her up, but drop off was a nightmare. This year though she can't wait to get there in the morning. Oh, and yeah, I hate that "I'm tired cause the baby's been up" thing too. My husband has never once gotten up with either child, mostly cause I rarely pump so he can't feed them so why get up, and I understand that, really I do. But since you're not getting up to feed and change anyone then don't tell me you're tired that your eyes momentarily cracked open during the night!
Alice28, I can imagine how hard it is to travel with 3 kids. Just 2 will be bad enough money wise, with an extra plane ticket, etc. You're going to Hawaii in March right, or planning to anyway? Do any airlines you're looking at offer reduced fares for under 2s to be in a seat? I know Molly's birthday is in March but not sure if your trip is early or late March. We got a lot of "infant" fares for Madison when she was under 2 and they were 50% of the adult price. And we actually got one when she was over 2 cause she was under 2 when I booked and I didn't think about it. Then I realized and felt bad and called the airline but the person I spoke with said since her birthday was the week before not to worry about it, they don't label the ticket as "under 2" so no one would know. I appreciated it cause the fare had gone up considerably since I booked my ticket.
And sorry to hear about your day yesterday too. I found it kinda funny that your husband had to check on your ability to call the ped like you haven't done that enough with 3 kids. My husband also suggested mylicon and tylenol last night, about an hour after I had already given him each one. They're so quick thinking sometimes. I hope your headache is gone. I'm in a very good mood today though so hopefully that will last, and hopefully you are too!
Floridafam, yes, he's a dr, and an anesthesiologist no less so talk about precision. But at home, totally different story. I asked him to bring Madison's dirty shirt upstairs Monday night, he brought up Henry's clean and folded clothes instead and told me there was no shirt of Madison's to be found. I walk halfway down the stairs and sure enough, there it is, in plain sight. So that's why I'll be going along with him to the store tomorrow. We have to get a new charger for the digital camera cause we lost ours. He claimed
Best Buy didn't have them but when I went yesterday, surprise, they did. But I didn't have the model # with me so while I thought I knew which one I want to be sure. They had every type though so not sure why he thought they didn't sell them. We also have to buy a new baby gate for the top of the stairs since the one he installed ripped out of the wall the next day. It's been 2 months now and I'm really nervous since Madison seems to be forgetting about falling down the flight in July.
Speaking of that, my husband said I should not have posted that here cause one of you might report me! I said we'd all be reported if that were the case since a couple of other kids fell down the stairs the same week, not to mention how many have in the past. Sometimes I think he's insane.
Fabumouse, that picture is too cute! I loved the previous photo of Madeleine cause who can resist a sleeping baby, but this one is adorable! I hope the bedding wasn't too bad. My husband would have left the bedding as is too. While I rant about him today, when Madison was potty training she had a poopy accident while he was watching her. He cleaned her up and changed her clothes, but then left the poopy clothes for me, in a pile of dirty clothes in the laundry basket! I didn't know till days later when I washed her clothes. Imagine my surprise and joy at that.
Tasha, glad that the daycare thing worked out even better than you had planned. And great that you can still take your vacation cause I think they're very important. You've got me interested in the DH thread now!
Lissawynn, that is the sweetest photo of Jimmy!
Just heard a loud noise come from Henry's diaper. Gotta go!
