****The Official June 2015 thread!!! We're finally going to WDW***

I just looked again (obsessively) and the 2015 packages are not available yet. Boo!!! When did ya'll say they are normally out?

I've heard anywhere from mid-July to end of August...:faint:

both of which are unacceptable since I want to book it RIGHT THIS MINUTE!!

so DH and I were chatting the other day and we've decided to book the Boardwalk!!! Unless there are no standard rooms available when 2015 packages come out and then I'll look at either BC or YC...

The Boardwalk is new to us but we did stay at BC last trip in 2012..

Has anyone stayed there before and have any words of wisdom they want to offer??

:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

CAN'T WAIT!!!

I have never stayed at Boardwalk before but it looks beautiful!!

If they are running the same offer as they did this summer for next summer it might be our first experience in a deluxe. I have always wanted to stay at AKL so if all the planets are in allignment it might happen on our June 2015 trip. :goodvibes

We never stayed at the Boardwalk either but we walked by it many times during our last trip. It does look beautiful.

I just thought I would stop by to say "hey" :teeth: .....and to say that I cannot stop thinking about the trip. Even though ya'll said they wouldn't release the new packages until mid-July I still keep looking. It's an obsession.

*sigh*...I just tried booked for June 2015..

its still a NO-GO....:confused3

Don't they know that we're just sitting here waiting to book??

11 months from TODAY I will have woken up for our first full day at WDW and headed to Epcot after a breakfast at 'Ohana!!!

Yeah I was looking for it today too after my timehop this morning was me booking a trip! I instantly got excited but nope not yet!

I've been checking every day to see if the 2015 dates opened up. I'm driving myself mad!

I couldn't get past December either. Perhaps you have to call. We don't have our dates set in stone yet so not ready to book but I did want to price out a few different resorts.

Got to book today!! Yay!!! So it's official, June 11-15 at AKV-Jambo :-)

Did you book with an agent over the phone? I can't get the online system to look past December 2014.....

Hmmmm crazy it is not letting me past December 2014!

I can't book either!! :sad1::sad1::sad1:

Sorry, for the confusion...I'm a DVC member so we can always make reservations at 11months out

and the fact that DH just agreed to a kid-free trip for us to Vegas the end of September!! :yay: :cool1:!
We are going to Las Vegas at end of September too! Think I would be completely crazy if I didn't have another trip planned after coming back from family trip in June(going to Vegas for a family wedding but since we own timeshare -at Lake Ozark and exchanged for LV -we are staying 6 days)

we did go this June (after 10!! year gap) and on way down DH says "we are not waiting that long again" I kinda took him at his word and have been preliminary planning. And since US now has all the HP stuff we want to do that as well (and definitely staying onsite for that)

We have flown past 2 trips-we have a "rewards/miles" CC that we use for everything (and pay each month) so we usually have miles to cash in:) We do rent car as we stay offsite...that may change-at least for a few days:cool1:

So here is tentative plan: June7-9 on site (DVC rent points vs mod if free DDP) then move to our timeshare exchange (have to confess-gotten spoiled by amenities and SPACE at offsite condos-we usually have Marriott resorts and they are very very nice) and stay there 1 week-with a stay at US on 6/7-2 day park to park pass, and remaining WDW days through rest of week. Am planning on 5 (possible 6?) day PH with waterpark option. We do like to go to beach for at least one day and would be nice to utilize offsite resort amenities too.

And thread up for 2 months and 10 pages and I am the caboose?? Guess someone has to bring up the rear :rotfl2: Hope it is not to late to join:wave2:
Even though we are still in preliminary stage of planning I hope by joining dreaming=reality pixiedust:

1. have not made it into "One Man's Dream" (DH did and said it was really cool).
2. Have not done Stitch Great escape(did Alien Encounter-never again-but had to do it as it was a twist on design DH did when he was on CP-have the actual blueprints of the layout of the ride)
3.Have not done BOG-nor even gone into that area:confused3
4.Never done CRT-did 1900 Park Faire instead (awesome)-and I kinda want to go but girls are too big now and DS was soooo grumpy even meeting Anna and Elsa (though Elsa was really really really good and got my grumpmonster-"I do NOT like Princesses"- to smile and the CM directing the line sang to him!)
5>AND the biggie-Have not stayed onsite since I have worked there!!

and this:" I have never done the Summit Plummet at Blizzard Beach.."
Yeah-went to BB for first time in June and not one of us was brave enough...DH and I have done the "Top ten Terror ride in US" at Stratosphere in LV but Summit Plummet...yeah, again NO. Why do I feel safer shooting into the air miles above LV sand but not going down 1/2 the distance in water?

Haven't done Dole whip either-but we have a Pineapple Whip place here in Springfield MO that is really really good...but I have done most everything else except dining at resorts. Was a Cast member on College Program (1991!!!) and got to do alot then. Did you know they test out new stuff on volunteer CM? Once rode Space mountain for 6 hours straight (except potty breaks-those engineers are slave drivers lol) when they upgraded a breaking system many years ago.

My husband and I are planning (read: I'm planning and talking his ear off about it...) a trip in the first week of June. I teach high school so we have to wait until school is out (May 23rd:cool1:) and, because I am not a masochist, we are waiting until after memorial day weekend. So we are flying down May 30th, checking into one of the Universal Resorts for two nights then heading over to French Quarter for 6/7 nights. I too am an obsessive planner :rolleyes1 so I have already found flights and everything!

We are flying Delta because we have a travel voucher, otherwise we would fly Southwest because they are cheaper. There is a direct flight on May 30th from Nashville. We are going to rent a car, do a Wal-Mart run, check in at Universal, then get dinner at the Renaissance Castle, and have a nice, easy afternoon. Then it's two days of roller coasters, Harry Potter, and awesomeness pixiedust:!!! Since our DDP will kick in on our second day at Universal, we plan to head over to return our rental to MCO then hop Magical Express for our hotel so we can hit DTD for dinner. There is even a flight on our last day at Disney that doesn't leave until 8:30, which gives us almost a full day of fun before we have to board Magical Express!

I am struggling a little with a few planning details, though... (And not just because of that stupid freaking grayed out arrow at the end of December 2014!!!!! :badpc::crazy2:) $#@$#$^&*^$#%%#$%%^&^$^$$%#EDDFF##!!!! *breath* :coffee: Anyway...

1. Has anyone ever boarded Magical Express after already being in Orland for a few days? I read somewhere in the wide world of Disney planning sites that it should be okay... I am just a worrier.

2. Especially for those of you who have recently visited: I stress enough planning "which park we will be in when" 180 days out for ADRs. Now I have to consider FP+ 60 days out? :confused3 And what if I have a perfect ADR for BOG (I know.. a pipe dream...) But there aren't any decent FP+ times available at MK that day? Also, when my husband and I last visited, while I did have a "plan" much of the adventure happened when we threw that out and decided to park hop spontaneously. Will we be limited by FP+ reservations 60 days out? I know we are all still figuring this stuff out, but it's making planning less fun and more stressful. I don't want to ruin the fun of our vacation before we even get there! :scared:
