I'm still watching the show. It does get predictable at times, but it has been better these last couple of weeks. I'm just sick of the whole Callie storyline. She is such a good actress....love her....and she isn't getting much air time besides the whole lesbian thing. I'm so over it...it's boring now.

One of them will stumble across the fact that it is her's during sweeps. But the whole thing will be kept hushed with all the interns pretending like they don't know who it is they are "working up" and not wanting to give her the real bad news. Its gonna be one huge secret with each intern keeping it from the next, but all will know and keep it from Izzie.

Why doesn't Derek have office hours? I understand he is the head of neuro surgery, but wouldn't he still have an office to see potential patients and those who have been discharged?

Why would he have so much time to spend with the pregnant woman and her DH?

Sorry, this is too far-fetched. I'm sure that doctors DO become attached to some of their patients, but this episode was a little overboard.

Oh, and why is it such a big deal that "Dr. Place My Manhood in Anything that Moves" confessed that he's seeing Mer's half-sister? So Der asked him not to do it... big deal... they are both grown men and can do what they please, especially when the other party is of age and consenting.

I agree that so much of this show seems unrealistic and far-fetched, but I still love it.

And I think that Derek snapped on Mark more because of the pregnant woman dying and him failing to save her than just actually being mad at Mark for seeing Little Grey.

I think Mark was just a handy little outlet for his anger/frustration/pain.

I didn't read through everything on here but did anyone else notice that MAYBE part of Derek's frustration (and possibly more drama for Mer/Der) is because he told Pregnant lady that she'd be "the first to know" when he was ready to propose... and now she's not around?

Does that qualify as foreshadowing that he might not propose now? Or that Derek is going to take it as a sign that it's not the right time? Or something?

Or am I just looking too far into all of this?!

I don't think Izzie is hoping the Interns figure out what is wrong with her. She is a doctor...she knows what is wrong with her. I think she is just using herself as a teaching tool. Weird.

OK, so Derek comes back from his freak out/I quit/every dies on me outburst to perform surgery on Izzy but she dies then wouldn't it validate his claim that all his patients die and thus push him further into despair And if she's leaving the show would she really be 1 of the 5%? I liked what Lexi said to her about screw the odds, my mother died from the hiccups and that has a 100% survival rate.....I think Lexi is on to the fact that patient X is really Izzy.
