The *OFFICIAL* Grey's Anatomy Fan Thread!

I would think it would be because of the problems. I'm not sure but it wouldn't hurt my feelings if he was gone.
Oh but I love the character so much.

OK, totally didn't catch that it was Mer's sister with McDreamy last week. That would be totally lame for them to start something like that.

Bailey's not nearly applicable enough for cheif of surgery. She is still a resident.

But it's really dumb that Callie beat her in Cheif Resident.

Yeah I thought so too. And how come all the drama with telling each of the chief candidates in person, but Miranda finds Callie's name on the bulletin board. :confused3 I wonder if the decision is because Miranda has a baby and Callie doesn't---yet.

Oh and who else thought Adele had died when Addison was talking to the Chief? Her wording needed to be better.

I didn't get to watch it tonight, and thought I'd be able to catch it tomorrow @ 8. When did they stop doing that?! I just looked at the TV listings here locally and it says it's National Bingo Night, instead!

I thought it was a terrific episode! I hate that we have to wait so long to find out what happens.

I am really wondering what George is going to do! I did read that TR Knight is coming back next season, so I'm sure he'll be on the show in some capacity.

I'm not really surprised about the Burke/Christina thing. She just never seemed that into him.... but I'm surprised at how it happened!

Not sure how I feel about Lexy Grey. I hope they don't focus too much on new interns next season. What about the current interns? Do they get a new title?

Looks like they are heading into the ER dept where the new interns need to take over. Lexi has a 13 episode arc so she definetly is going to be causing problems next season. Blah!

I sure hope Burke leaves. I didn't and did see it coming. I did like his wording. He finally realized he didn't love her for who she was and that was awesome. Bad timing but awesome. I also have mixed feelings about what Der told Mer regarding the flirting. And I about died when he opened himself up and Mer said he had to help Christina get to the wedding. ***? *sigh*

Oh, and I just about cried for poor Bailey. I want answers for her!!

am i the only one not crazy about the episode? I thought it was too sad! nothing good happened! very depressing IMO> poor george, and dr. bailey, and christiana and everyone! it was a little "much" imo...something good needed to happen! oh and the rebecca pope thing...aahh!!!

::yes:: ITA. I was really depressed after the episode. I mean, throw us a bone, Shonda! The whole Callie getting chief is stupid. I was ok with the ep until I saw that.

And why wouldn't Meredith's dad and step-mom have said "Hey! Our daughter is in med school, too! She's doing her internship this year." It was never discussed? Meredith has no idea? Does anybody know if she's ever even met her half-sister? :confused3 Throwing her in for shock value is NOT COOL.

I think she knew that her half sister was in med school. The parents mentioned it more than once.

I'm sure Mer saw her at the funeral, since we got a glimpse of her with the dad last week.

I liked the episode, can't wait until next season, but it was really sad.

Bailiey definitely should have gotten chief resident. I wonder if Callie will get pregnant, have some complications and step down. Bailiey's status as a mother has not really entered into her performanace, but maybe the chief purposely did not give her chief resident so that she would not get so wrapped up in her career that she would end up like him.

I think the Chief will step down to try to rekindle his marriage, and Derek will step up since he was rejected by Mer. I can't believe she did that to him! I wanted to kick her in the teeth and take him home with me.

It will be a mistake if Grey's stops following the lives of these interns - or whatever they are going to be next year, and starts following the new interns. I am not sure how they are going to handle it, unless they start to follow each person into their specialties.

I was kinda hoping Burke and Christina would end up getting married at City Hall - just give up the big production and realize they love one another. But it was telling when Christina realized that Burke had left, and said "I'm free."

RIGHT RIGHT!! She ran after her dad in the hospital and said, "Dad, let's go." I remember that now. Didn't put two and two together.

I think she knew, too. Was this the same sister who had the baby? Mer must have met her before, and I am surprised that Derek didn't know who she was.

But I don't think Mer went to the funeral last week. Her dad told her not to go.

I agree, T.V. sucked last night (ER just as much too.) It was depressing. I told DH at least I don't have to worry about wacthing T.V. next year. What a downer note to end it on (and then Veroinica Mars was canceled.) I guess I will have to get out and have a life, or at least play with my kids more.

The whole intern thing, didn't her mother *just* die too? Or did I remember that wrong. I missed last week, but caught 2 weeks ago. Kind wish I missed last night too.

I hated almost everything about this episode. :headache: Very soap-opera-ish if you ask me.

  • Callie over Bailey? What?!
  • Alex coming back too late to get Ava/Rebecca
  • Christina and Burke not getting married (although I did predict this all along)
  • Callie and George deciding to try for a baby (yeah - like THAT'S a good idea)
  • More Izzy whining to George. I just bet she'll end up pregnant from their one night stand.:headache:
  • George not passing his intern test
  • and most of all...
  • WHAT IN THE WORLD IS MEREDITH THINKING?!!!!!

I was glad that Richard and Adele got back together and that the baby was apparently his. That was the only redeeming issue in the whole episode for me.

Where did Meredith get the scissors from so quickly to cut Christina out of her dress? At my house, scissors are never close at hand even though I've purchased about 50 pairs so I'd always be able to find one when I want it.

BIG BROTHER starts in about 6 weeks!!! :cool1: :rotfl2:

Oh yeah, I forgot she was asked not to go.

It was another half-sister who had the baby. So I guess unless Meredith noticed Lexy with her father at the hospital, maybe she hasn't ever met her.

The writers definitely wanted everyone to think that when the Chief ran off before Addison finished her sentence. That's good drama! ;)

Do you think they had two different scenes prepared when Addison didn't get the Chief's job...one if ABC had picked up Private Practice and one if they did not? That dialogue was a little too perfect to lead into her leaving for her spin-off!

And, I think Meredith was talking about more than one relationship when she said to the wedding audience, "It's over. It's over. It's so over." Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but the camera angle seemed pretty intentional with Derek in the background watching her.
