New to this thread and thanks for bumping it or i never would have found it! can't wait for the new season to begin! can't stand Dean never could, i do like Logan though!! and i looooved Jess. Love Luke and Loralei finally together!

This has been my favorite show since its premier. I think I relate so well to it because of my relationship with my mother. Regrettably, it is more of a Lor & Emily thing than a Lor & Rory bond. All the actors on this show do a phenomenal job. It is quirky and entertaining and the only show I absolutely cannot miss.

I never understood the flirtation between Luke and Lor or the hinting that they should be together. Personally, I can't stand the two of them together. I think he is too much of a downer for her. I have always been a fan of Lor and Chris. They have so much chemistry and can play off of each other so well. Their back and forth banter always has me cracking up. Even when they are being serious and heartfelt it is so believable. I hope they are together in the end. If L&L are together when this thing is all said and done, I will be very disappointed.

I think Rory and Dean were cute at first and then became a total bore. He was way too into her and that is why I liked when Jess came in to still the pot. They kind of left that up in the air. I like her and Logan at the moment. I think he is Rory's "Christopher". He is handsome, intelligent and can keep her on her toes. I can't wait to see where things are headed with them. I guess we will find out in about a month! Woo hoo!

Bumping up...one week from today!!! WOOOOHOOOO! Here's what TV Guide had to say about the new season (no real spoilers):

Premiere: Tuesday, Sept. 13, 8pm/ET, WB
Luke (Scott Patterson) and Lorelai (Lauren Graham) fans can breathe a sigh of relief after the first episode of the new season, when we'll learn what Luke has to say to Lorelai's proposal. But that could cause chaos for the whole rest of the year. And speaking of chaotic, the rift between Lorelai and Rory (Alexis Bledel) is only going to get bigger as the teenager continues to stay with her grandparents and adjusts to her freedom from college.

ok, while watching reruns this thought entered my mind. Logan's family doesn't believe in having a wife of their son as a "working" woman. Could it be possible that Logan's Dad only gave her the internship and told her she couldn't cut it because he knew it would burst her bubble in the hope that now she would fit their "mold" for their son? Does that make any sense?

Yes, I had the same thought after I saw it. I think that Logan's Dad actually likes Rory, although I don't think she'll ever give up her career plans for some guy.

Plus I am so irked at Emily and Richard still. Not too happy with Rory either. And we all know I hate Logan...lol. Guess that doesn't leave me much, huh? Better BRING BACK JESS!

I don't watch the show but while we were out in L.A. we took a tour of WB studios where it is filmed and saw a lot of their sets, both interior and exterior. It would have been a bit more interesting if I actually watched the show, lol, but it was still very cool.

There is maybe a spoiler, our tourguide said it was, so I'll put it in white. The main character's house has a big hole in the second floor...apparently some guy (Luke maybe?) is doing construction there? we took pics.

Yes - but then word gets out Lorelai proposed - so that makes him uncomfortable but they do head to the alter
