Just checking in before bed...great episode!! I won't post spoilers yet, but loved Lorelai, LOVED Paris, loved Luke...Em and Rich I want to kick. Rory...what the $^%* is up with her??? I knew I wasn't going to be happy with her, and I wasn't.

At least Logan looked guilty about her quitting. GOOD!

I don't like Jess. I liked Dean the best. Logan is ok. (I know Dean is gone becuase he has a new show.)

I thought it was great that Logan was feeling guilty (at least that is what it looked like to me).

and I hope Luke gets his "moment" with the ring.

So Jess is really coming back this year? Yikes, I don't know where I'm gonna stand on that one. Choosing between Jess and Logan (assuming he's 'original Jess' and not 'icky Jess' they brought back to write out in season 3)... that'd be hard. Lucky Rory.

How did I miss a fake Jess? Weird! I guess I need to buy the DVDs or TIVO all of season 3!

Tonight was great, loved the courtroom scene even if it was totally predictable.

Ok-I'm thinking other poster meant that Jess was fake b/c he came back and wanted Rory and told her he loved her? B/c I don't think there was ever a fake Jess. It has always been that one guy Milo something or other. The hottie who is in a crappy movie atm.

I don't like him with Rory, and I don't know about Logan yet.

And the bar scene was totally unrealistic.

Heehee. No, I guess I didn't phrase that quite right. It was always the same actor, the writers just (imho) changed his character a lot when they brought him back for that one-shot in the third season. It wasn't something I thought the character would have done, and I found him really irritating then (as opposed to in season 2 where I really liked him). Sorry for the confusion!

HELP!!! I went to DH's softball games tonight and thought I had programmed the VCR, but it didn't tape the right time or show.

I stayed just long enough to see Luke say yes. What else happened? I'm so bummed. I was looking forward to coming home to watch it.

even though Rory and Lorelai are fighting I was hoping that she would tell Rory that she is engaged to Luke and they would make up...

LOVED the show! I'm so happy that Luke said yes although Babette and Miss Patty cracked me up with the stuff about Lorelai stealing Luke's thunder.

I think Lorelai is handling the Rory thing just right and it was hysterical when she dropped her stuff off into Emily & Richard's bedroom. I thought Rory got just what she deserved from the judge. I think if she'd gone to court with Lorelai and without the fancy attorney, she'd have gotten a better deal. Hopefully, the community service will make her realize that a life of leisure isn't all it's cracked up to be.

Paris was great--telling Lorelai to do her magic mom stuff to get Rory back into Yale.

I'm so happy, happy, happy that the new episodes are on. And I saw that the fourth season DVD's are coming out at the end of the month--can't wait for that either!

I'm not sure of who East Side Tilly is either--she's a new one. Although--I do remember one show where Patty & Babette were gossiping with another woman on the street corner all the time and Lorelai was a little annoyed that they weren't talking about her. Maybe that's East Side Tilly.

They rerun this show in my area at 6:00 tonight so I'm going to watch it again although I annoy dh no end by watching these shows over and over.

About the communication thing, I think Lorelai needs to wrap her mind around the whole situation before she can talk about it with Luke. I'm just projecting, really, because that's the way I am when something effects me so emotionally. DH has learned to live with it--he now knows I WILL talk to him about problems but I need to come to terms with it before I can discuss it rationally. And I've done that crying in the kid's bedroom thing before, too.

I agree, Mal, with the way Lorelai is handling the situation with Em & Rich...Rory is a big girl and needs to answer to her actions.

Next week looks good with Lorelai seeing Rory on a "chain gang"...but I did notice a big sparkly thing on her finger so maybe Luke does have his moment?!?

I think he did have his moment, MM, and I don't think we got to see it. At the very end of the ep, after she threw the bottle, you hear Luke come in the front door and yell something like, "Okay, full moon, moment's here, let's go." And she wipes her eyes and goes.
