What do you do if you are already booked and your deposit is already down? Our Visa, though not Disney is chase but our deposit was on a debit card. We were told to roll our balance (zero) on to a Disney Visa. Any suggestions for Monday since our deposit is paid and we want to pay cash/debit card for the rest of the trip but have changed our chase to a Disney Chase? What number do you dial when you call Disney Visa? I assume it is the same as our soon-to-be old chase number but want to make sure.

If I cancel the reservations, I probably will not be able to re-book with the same discount code, as the CM's have been very inconsistent with that. Could I change my payment method to Disney Visa or maybe make an additional payment on the Visa and then add free dining on Monday?

I just got off the phone with CRO. I had a great CM who walked me through exactly how to do this. He said he knew nothing with that tone of voice. I already had a room only and ticket for my friend booked and paid. He cancelled that, refunded everything. Then booked a package and took the $200 deposit and told me to call back when a the promo was officially launched and they'd just apply the code and I could pay in full then. Much easier and I'd not lose my room. So if you've got a booked room only CALL NOW and do this!!!!

did you use your Disney Visa for that 200.00 deposit so that all you have to do Monday is like you said add the free dining

I too called Disney VIsa...had to hear it for myself!!!! I had a very friendly lady who gave me all the same details that everyone else has gotten with the added "I can give you the phone number and code you will need in case you don't get the email".....she gave me the normal 407-939-1286 and the CODE IS ZHQ STARTING MONDAY. I see your travel dates begin on 9/22. Did the Disney VISA folks confirm that you could get free dining for your entire stay as long as you check in by 9/22, even if that's the last day of free dining? I know those were the rules in the past, and just want to make sure they haven't changed before I go crazy making ADR's.

I'm off to email my TA again to tell him the new code and ask if he'll be able to get it applied on Monday. He's going to think I lost my mind. LOL

I emailed my TA and told her that if the dining plan requires a 5 night min (already booked at ASMo for 4 nights) to go ahead and add an extra night!!! But then at the end of the email, I said oh well.... even if its not required, if the price is right and at all doable, just go ahead and add the extra day and night!!!!!

ok everyone i need your help. I am a disney visa holder and i have been holding out for free dining to book, since half of my party is going only if there is fd and the other half is going no matter what. I need to book two rooms. shoulld i go ahead and book today and then on monday have then change it to free dining or should i just wait till monday? Please help! i'm going nuts!

Boo Hoo It wont help me because we are leaving August 8th-18th.. BUT I am hoping since it isnt during my time that it will keep crowds down. It is bittersweet I suppose.

About three weeks ago, I paid down an additional $300 using dh's Disney Visa. I'm HOPING since I did that they'll let me add the free dining without having to re-book the whole thing.You'd think that as long as you use a Disney Visa at some point you'd be okay. But if not, I'm just planning on re-booking.

Maybe you could try making an additional payment using the Visa, so it's at least on your account?

Yep, that's what I've heard. You need to do the math and figure out which code will save you more money.

Yup, I worked it out, the free DDP is more of a discount for us.

My advise would be to go ahead and book the trip with dining. Then when the code does come out on Monday call back and add the code. I've done that before with no problems. Although the code I was using was not for free DDP, it was for free water parks and more. But I would think this would be the same situation.

Nope, don't even have a disney visa. But I have a guaranteed room. Just need to call first thing on the 12th to have the code applied to get free dining.
