Woohoo, Kylene! Now I'm super excited!

Hi Kylene;

Quiana is such a nice person, I hope this is true! I got the chance to talk to her and Angela after the NYC concert that my family and I went to in December. My husband loves the way she sings Grown Up Christmas List and I told her that it made him cry. I think she was actually taken aback by that -- she sort of looked at me and the said "God Bless him".

We're off to WDW tomorrow, so won't be "connected" while down there. Kim wanted us to bring along my DH laptop from work, just so she could keep up with Clay news. DH said "no" to that!!!

I don't think you'll miss TOO much in the next week or so, and you can definitely catch up again by checking in with us here when you return!!

By the way, a friend of mine directed me to a blog at the fan club that featured a fan's meeting with Quiana earlier in the week (not sure if it's the same fan or a different one), and she's also got some photos with Q up there. SHE LOOKS FANTASTIC!! She's definitely LOST weight in much of her body since she got pregnant....I hardly recognized her. I'm sure it'll be a beautiful baby!!

My little prince has finally arrived!! Yep, my new "nephew" (by friend, not blood) was born this morning. I haven't officially met him yet (it was a C-section, so I probably won't visit until tonight or tomorrow), but I've got a feeling Clay may have some competition for my heart!!

Don't worry about tour reviews - if tours were only booked based on good reviews, there would NEVER be any tours!

Tours are based on album sales...and their potential to increase them. So, no worries...

His name is Dillon Lorenzo, he's 8 lbs 1 oz, and, since the new mom is OBSESSED with all things purple and they weren't sure if it was a girl or boy, the nursery is all done out in blue and purple...and Eeyore.

I'm going to see them tomorrow, but her sister sent me pictures this evening - lemme just tell ya, not to brag or anything....but the kid's a heartbreaker already.

Hi all;

We had a wonderful time at WDW, eating lots of good food, riding all the new rides and all of our favorites. While waiting in line at the Rockin' Rollercoaster, low and behold, there was a picture of Clay! He is in a poster of all the singers on the latest Disney CD for his Proud of Our Boy. Kim made her Dad take a picture, so once I have time to get them into the computer I'll post a link to it.

Got home way late on Sunday night and am trying to catch up on everything. Thanks Kylene for the b-day wish for Kim. She had a blast getting the birthday buttons and had many castmembers and a few guests say happy b-day. Got embarrased by a cm at Flametree Barbecue at AK - he made everyone in line sign happy b-day to her -- I loved it!! After that she said she'd had enough b-day stuff and refused to wear her button .

Got embarrased by a cm at Flametree Barbecue at AK - he made everyone in line sign happy b-day to her -- I loved it!! After that she said she'd had enough b-day stuff and refused to wear her button .

That's hysterical - I guess we have to be careful what we wish for, huh?

Thought I'd pop in here with some un-newsy news: Clay blogged at the fan club. He didn't say mucha about the new album or anything like that, but I thought I'd let you know that he DID share his vacation with us. Apparently he spent some time in Eastern Europe with his friend Kristy (a pre-AI friend who works with BAF and also was on tour for a bit towards the end of Joyful Noise 05). They visited a whole lotta places with names that I can't pronounce, nevermind try to spell. He also has some pictures up from their visit to Croatia, but I think you have to be a member to view them. The only thing he said that somewhat referenced other..."news" that's been up and around lately was, "Let's talk about something that REALLY happened" at the beginning of the blog.

Oh...and in OTHER news....

I went to see Michael Buble at Mohegan Sun the other night, an early birthday gift from my sister. Ladies...lemme tell ya, if Clay makes you swoon, MICHAEL...well....Michael makes you do something else entirely, which is probably not appropriate for the DIS. He was great... If Clay's the guy I want to take to Christmas dinner with my family, Michael's TOTALLY the guy I want as my date to any wedding I ever have to go to.

Clay's to appear on Scrubs 3/14. They didn't say, but I'd have to assume it's the same episode he did last year.

tee hee~~ If we got $1 for every time his name is mentioned on AI, we'd all be rich! They talk about him more than any other past contestant.

Did you see the commericial for the new show "Loops" (I think that is the name). One of the actors says something like "Are you Clay Aiken, my daugher is a Claymate.) I guess they're trying to "pull" the clay fans "in" cause they know his name "sells".

Any news on the fan club site about his new CD or anything?

Sorry, guys....

It appears RCA took Clay's album off the list, so either they're not confirming the June 20th date, or they just don't want us to know about it yet.

Look on the bright side....perhaps this means we'll get it SOONER!!


I'll keep ya posted....sorry to get your hopes up, it WAS official info when I posted it....I guess I need to stay home all weekend and keep an eye on these things!!
