LOL! I think by Thursday I should be recovered enough for that! ;)
And sister is used to walking everywhere in the big city, so we should be just fine. I kind of like the idea of spending our last morning in 'the north woods'.

Kay, CRO is central reservations 704-W-DISNEY.

:cheer2:

And FYI -- Central reservations is 407-W-DISNEY (NOT 704 - a typo, I'm sure)

Morning Lodgers!
Just went and changed my countdown clock. Switched to the 7 day cruise aboard the Magic. Maybe it was the trip reports, or the photos, or the Travel Channel's program about the Disney ships that aired last night, but a force, other than my husband, convinced me that it was a good idea.

I think it's really great that you'll be cruising with fellow WL DISer's, I hope you have a blast. Loved the single digit dance you did for Fred. I'm always amazed with your techno abilities, so much fun! Perhaps you and I should begin a weekly "mind over seasickness" meditation group. :grouphug:
Deep breath, repeat after me....... " The waves are our friends. The waves are our friends."

LOL! No, actually, it's some kind of mental block, which is why I have WDW dining programmed into my cell phone or I'd be calling all over the country when I'm there and trying to change a PS!

BTW, everyone, it's not such a bad idea to have this number with you on your trips. I've walked up to try and get in a restuarant at the last minute and been turned away, or told it's over an hour wait....stepped away from the podium...called Disney dining and gotten a PS for the same restaurant for 20 minutes later. I thought it was a fluke the first time, but it's worked on several occasions. Also, if that particular restaurant isn't available, they can help you find a second choice.

This thread has got me sooo excited about our trip to WL. We have never stayed in a deluxe and it is looking like we made a good choice. We have AP's and my DH wants me to try for something on the monirail. Are there long waits with the buses? I read somewhere that you shared with the campground. I also read that that was going to change. Does anyone know what's true? We won't be going till May but it will be here before I know it.

Hi Kimmar,
Yes, the prodigal old broad has returned. I just sorta went to ground for a long while. I grew a bit weary of some of the confrontational posts on other threads. Just decided I really enjoyed this forum and that I would not get so tore up from the floor up about "meany" posts. You may not be familiar with those, they do not occur among the WL brethren. I mean, good grief it's not like I have to read inflammatory posts, but for awhile I just seemed to be drawn to them. I think it may have been a temporary illness. Anyway, I have truly missed this group. You're "good people". I've been trying to keep up with everyone by reading this thread. So how are you? How's that Jackman wench? And may I commend you on your fine Carrey impersonation?
Kathi

Who y'all callin' 'wench'??? [:teeth: ~LOL~](Jes' checkin' up on my countdown thingie again!)

Hello everyone. Thanks to inviting me to your thread.

We're arriving at WL on a Saturday in March. We probably won't buy park tix for that day because we'll get in mid/ late afternoon. Here's the question: Is there any place at WL or outside MK where we can see Spectromagic? That night is the last night it is scheduled at 8:00. The next night (when we'd have park tickets) it moves to 9:00 and my little ones will never make it that late. Thanks!

Welcome! Spectro is a really cool parade but you will have to be in the MK (or a plane!) to see it pretty much at all.

Of course, I also warn against going to MK on Saturdays as it is known to be the busiest day for that park.

Take note that my little ones go to sleep much earlier while at the world because of all the excitement.

Let the little ones sleep, get or bring a stroller with a few light blankets, and go watch it when it's convenient for you. Remember, the vacation should be for us too right??? :)

Enjoy!

Leaving soooo soon for WL!! Can't wait!

Fred

Well Poo,
Dear Ms. Jackmananme.......I meant the term wench in the most flattering way. There are so few really good wenches, many aspire to the status but there are few who can carry it off. Close your eyes and imagine a Wilderness Lodge Wench, can ya see her? A whole lot of Ruby from Cold Mountain, a touch of Miss Kitty from Gunsmoke, she can bring home the bacon, fry it up in a pan.........How about a Polynesian Resort Wench......think Gauguin, Mutiny on the Bounty, she doesn't walk, she sways, lanquid. Now imagine a Jackman Wench, Ashley Judd vulnerable, Kate Beckinsale kickin bootie and takin names, Meg Ryan no nonsense, casting away her defenses. You, my dear, are in rather grand company!

Can't wait. Next Wednesday (12th) DH and I will be checking into WL for four nights. Our second trip to WDW and our first to WL, we have booked a woodsview with an AP rate. Last year we stayed at CBR, and the during the 1/2 marathon weekend we will be at POP.

I have a questions regarding printing boarding passes. We are flying home with Southwest on the 16th. Has anyone had guest services print their boarding passes for them at the resort, so you have a better chance of getting an A boarding pass?

Rachael, we were there in early Dec. and had great luck getting our SW boarding passes printed. As we have kids, I wanted to make sure we got the 'A' pass so I set my alarm for midnight and padded downstairs to the front desk. The CM hadn't done it before but I had receieved assurance earlier that evening that they could do it. He took the information and after a few minutes he came back out with my 'A' passes. It was not a problem at all. Have a great time!!

A friend of mine was at WDW last week. He said he had dinner at WCC and then took a boat to the Boardwalk area. Is this possible? I thought the boats at WL only traveled to MK, CR and FW.

Thanks for your help!

There's currently no way to take a boat to the Boardwalk from WL.
