Is it true that you can request an in-room refrigerator at WL for no charge? I just started using styrofoam coolers when they started charging $10/day. Are they free because WL has a DVC area? I'd love confirmation that this is true!

Yes...on request they will bring you a fridge. All the deluxe have fridges inrooms...the CR had it in the dresser under the TV

I just received another confirmation letter regarding my upcoming stay in February. The code in the lower corner of the letter is WAWAL. Does anyone know what that means? I did request Lobby room and 6th floor for my Woods View room. Does anyone know for sure?

P.S. I also made PSs at Marrakesh, 'Ohana (D), LTT (D--so we might catch Spectro and Wishes right after ), and Palio (the only one of the four we've been to before).

I have never heard of that..I know when I book a room at a special rate, that Code is printed on my confirmation...call CRO and ask

And, we were able to get an AP rate for a conceige room!
So excited! Can anyone tell me more? What to expect and what room should we request?

and where do I get one of those conters with the days left before your trip?
We are leaving in less than 2 weeks so I probably shouldn't bother!

After a long wait, we're off to our first stay at WL!!! We're looking forward to it, even if it's only one night before we move on to AKL, and then our cruise.

Yes you should be able to get a fridge for no charge. Ask for it at checkin and they will make sure it is brought to your room.

Expect to be pampered and enjoy all that the Lodge has to offer! I've said it before and here I say it again....the concierge staff on the 7th floor are like no other that I have seen or experienced at Disney World. They will take good care of you.

My advice? Don't be afraid to ask for something. You may be surprised at how much they can and will do for you. Remember, concierge is not just about the food they put out all day long.

As for the room, what kind of view would you prefer? They're all pretty good it just depends on your preference.

Also should I call to request any certain type room? We are booked in a WV, my ressie doesn't mention anything about Non smoking although I am pretty positive I would have requested that. I would love to see MK from our room....wishful thinking~

Not sure really. Still getting used to it. To be honest, they really did need to upgrade to the newer version. The old version was probably no longer supported and riddled with bugs that have been corrected in this version. It seems pretty speedy and I'm glad they put the names and poster info on the left again. I hated them at the top of the posts.

We'll get used to it I guess. There's really no choice right?
